OMG!!! I am so excited for him to be on your show! I love him!! He is so HoTTT! I cant wait to go watch him play Columbus Crew!! Woohhoo even though I am from Ohio I am cheering for Beckham!!! He is def. the best soccer player ever!!

David Beckham is a fantastic footballer and is definitely not too old to play in the UK or Europe - from what I've read he really thought he could improve the image of soccer in the US, but like other Europeans before him (most notably the great George Best) he may find it too steep a hill to climb. I'm not sure you'll start loving soccer the way you do American Football! Anyway, he's a great athlete and wonderful father and is an asset to your country.

Love the show, im a big fan. Ok what planet are barb and judith on, David Beckham is probably one of the best footballers ever. Its about the football ladies, not just his good looks. I dont have to live in England to understand or know that. Actually hello from down under. Looking forward to the show ellen excellent choice.

Hi Ellen,
Just got to say love you dearly !! but I agree with Judith. Coming from Britain but been in the States for over 30 yrs.,my knowledge of soccer is not that good anymore but I do know Beckam was geting to old to play in the UK then suddenly he comes over here and is a super star !! and we can't forget his wife !!!!,another story !!

To be honest I'm kind of dissapointed you are makeing such a big deal about this guy,understand it's rating's and all but you don't need this.!!!!

Anyway just my point of view,

March for Susan G komen rally for a cure..would you ask him for me..I am the new chair women as of today and that would really make the event..WOW
the only thing that could top it would be if Ellen decided to show up...do big stars still attend little events like ours????

What's the big deal about this guy? I don't think he, or his wife, are anything special-they are a result of media hype and a good agent. I find them (yawn) a bore.

I have played and coached soccer for much of my life.....so I live, eat, and breathe soccer. I was blessed to see David play in Spain which was a dream come true for me. Can't wait to see the show Ellen! Can't wait to hear what he has to say...if we can hear over all of the women that are screaming in the audience! Ellen I hope you have a goal set up on stage so we can watch him "bend it" like only Becks can!!!!
