An Ellen B-52s Web Exclusive!

The B-52s ended Friday’s show with a rousing rendition of “Love Shack,” but the people watching TV didn’t get to see the whole song, which is a shame, because they tore the roof off the place! Everybody was groovin’, everybody was movin’! The good news is that you can see it all here.

I LOVE the B-52's! So glad to see them back together again, and on your show! Can things get any better?

Love the B's, and will the world for once and for all, give them permission to retire Love Shack? There are plenty of people who know them for more interesting songs. Let Cindy bring back "Girl From Ipanema Goes to Greenland."

Thank you for allowing me to see my favourite band!! I'm in Australia and other websites don't allow me to view their videos because I'm not in America.
It was a great performance and I loved how Ellen joined in :) You go girl!

hi,ellen
im 12 years old i live in aruba
i watch your show every day
my mom loves B-52 but to bad she had to work late today.ellen you rock!!!!!!!!!!!

Wonderful to see this video of the B-52s! Reminds me of those wonderful summer days in Provincetown when I was in my 20s and going to clubs and lying in the sun, carefree and happy! I'm going to see them now, 30 years later, when they come to Boston as part of the Human Rights Coalition True Colors tour with Cyndi Lauper. I can't WAIT! It was an anniversary gift for my partner and I.

Ellen I am writing to tell you what a huge fan my mother is of you. She says you are having way to much fun without her. I was wondering if there is any way we could get tickets to see you? You see my mother isn't in very good heatlh and she really wants to come see you before she has to meet her maker as she puts it. You see my mom is the very best friend I have if it wasn't for her I would be homeless. Because she is letting me live in her house, while I am going to college. You see Ellen I am 49 years old and I decided I wanted to go back to school. So I got my GED and now I am enrolled at BlackHawk College. And to tell you the truth Ellen it is hard as heck especially since I have been out of school for 33 years. But if you could do this for us I would really appreciate it. She doesn't miss one of your shows, in fact I watch you reguarly also. I would bring her myself but as I was telling you I am in college and I am not working right now. But it would be nice if I could do something for my mother for a change.

You know what I like about you, Ellen? You can make anyone laugh. They can be the most boring & depressed people in the world, and you can still make them laugh. I can have the worst day in my life, aand you can turn it around, just by being yourself. It's amazing. I absolutely love to see people laugh. Doesn't everyone love that? I think you have to! Well, anyway, thank you so much for an incredible show! There's nothing quite like it out there...
A huge 13-year-old fan!

The B52's..what else can you say about a band since the late 70's/early 80's...I love them and THANK GOD they are on the circiut again. Love Shack was their "radio hit" even though I have been listening to them since 1975....makes me want to play Quiche Lorraine..HAS ANYBODY SEEN A DOG DYED DARK GREEN? SHE'S ABOUT 2" TALL, WITH A STRAWBERRY BLONDE FALL...SUNGLASSES AND A BONNET..
Ellen rocks!

How come they didn't sing "Rock Lobster"?

The B52s rock! They have been one of my favorite bands since dancing with my head in the speaker to Rock Lobster at the high school dances.Definitely made my week home sick with the flu better!

I was here at this particular show for my first "Ellen" experience. The B52's rocked! THANK YOU Ellen, for having an awesome show. I had such an incredibly fun time! and thanks for the wonderful gifts!
