The B-52s ended Friday’s show with a rousing rendition of “Love Shack,” but the people watching TV didn’t get to see the whole song, which is a shame, because they tore the roof off the place! Everybody was groovin’, everybody was movin’! The good news is that you can see it all here.

Well I babsit my neice and nephew and I am usually not home when Ellen airs on my local channel... The good news is I have DVR...yay me.. But the only problem is last week they changed the time that Ellen comes on, and messed up on Friday's show..Half of it was the Maury show which considering we didn't need a DNA test wasn't really what I was looking for.. But then the other half was Ellen's favorite shows, which was funny too, but I really wanted to see the B-52's and had been looking forward to it every single day that week...I did get to watch the recap on here... So thanks to WLOV Tupelo, MS.. Ellen's show is the greatest and love watching her everyday even if it is on DVR...

I love, Love Shack!!!! I am a camp nurse and every week at "the dance" this song is played and a "live performance" given by the staff. This song brings back so many awesome summer memories of standing on a bench in front of 100 campers and singing Love Shack with an industrial sized "wisk microphone" in my hand. Know that every summer "Love Shack", (at least at NLC 4-H Camp in Franklin, CT) becomes some kid's favorite "new" summer song.
Just kidding about being mad on my posting!! Just wish I had seen the show.Anyone know if you can order tapes of old shows? I'll ask when I go today.I'm so excited!!!! Dam! And I had the choice of ANY day in April for show tickets to Ellen, because they cancelled the show at the last minute when I had tickets in Feb.,and I'm going TODAY! And I LOVE the B-52's!!

WOW!!!! After all these years the B52s still rock the house. Soooo many songs to choose from can't everyone let them sing other great classics?? New album is killer and is the best out there today. Thanks Ellen for you and the B52s.
I saw the B'52's last summer at the Biltmore Estate =outside, on the lawn! It was fantastic! We danced in the wisteria garden - a bunch of us, 45 year old women, having the time of our life. I hope they come near Asheville, NC again ....Ellen adds the perfect touch! Thanks for posting the whole song!
I've always been a fan of the B'52's and Ellen! The band sounded great, Kate is at her best! I've watched the video 5 times1 If the B-52's are reading this, you need to circle back to the D.C.-Baltimore area and play a more family oriented venue, because I wanted to take my kids and your only playing a saloon in D.C.. I can't get them in there and they love you!
