Next week Ellen is in Orlando and her shows are going to be a half hour thrill ride of fun! The best part is that there is no long line. Just show up at your regular time and strap yourselves in for a heart pounding adventure. If last year’s Orlando shows are any indication, when the ride is over, you’re legs are going to be all wobbly and your voice will be hoarse from a solid half hour of screaming and laughing at the top of your lungs!

right now it's 1:30 am and I'm getting ready to drive 2 hours to Orlando from Gainesville. I'll be there around 6 am... I'm so happy that I'm going to see Ellen... she is my HERO!!!

ON ELLEN WEBSITE ON NBC 6 (OUR LOCAL SHOW IN FT LAUDERDALE THRU THE UNIVERSAL WEBSITE) TO NO AVAIL WE DIDN'T WIN BUT WE WOULDN'T MISS IT FOR THE WORLD WE WILL BE IN THE RIFF RAFF FRIDAY ENJOY THE SHOW. I love to hitch a ride along with you to Florida. I really could use some a break from the cold weather.
You see I didn't get to go on a spring break and if you don't mind having an older college student tag along, I'm your gal.
I'll even pitch in on the driving, but I'm not to good with the map thing....But if you get me going in the right direction, I'll do fine.
I maybe just a little out of your way....but if you don't mind going just a liitle out of your way, I love to go along for the ride.

Dear Ellen,
My professional training and over 20 years of experience is in Architecture. My two biggest fears in life were Marriage and cooking. I had heard horror stories about failed and abusive marriages and cooking "accidents". So I never learnt to cook and avoided getting married for as long as I could.
All I knew was Architecture. However, due to some health cahllenges I had to quit my practice. None of the treatments were effective on the diseases I was diagnosed with. It seemed like the end of the world.
Then I met John, a very caring and nurturing guy whose love and support helped me get through the toughest time in my life. He helped me pay attention to my body, mind and spirit. We have been married for almost ten years now. This is the best thing that ever happened to me, even better than Architecture.
I also discovered healthy cooking. It literally saved my life. I actually enjoy cooking now ("Aced" the two things I feared the most).
I love preparing highly nutritious, healing, beautiful and delicious dishes. Most of these are adapted from old recepes from South Asia and Central Asia.
There is so much beauty, aroma, flavor and wisdom in these low fat, low calorie, low sodium, low cholestrol recepes.
Ingredients include lots of tomatoes, egg plants, green peppers, mushrooms, onions, ginger, garlic, spinach, cilantro, mint, lentils, beans, yogurt, butter milk, turmeric, powder, tamarind paste, very little salt and pepper. Enjoyed with yogurt sauce, Basmati rice or whole wheat Roti (flat bread). These recepes can be made with tofu, chicken or fish.
I also enjoy entertaining and have People from every ethnic group try my recepes. They all absolutely love it.
Please help me promote these recepes of wisdom. I am certain these will help reduce obesity, diabetes, auto-immune diseases and other diet and nutrition related health challenges. Thanks.

Don't get me wrong. I really love Ellen. She is a very funny person. But I went to a taping in Orlando last year and sat in the rain for over two hours. I'm just saying that being at a taping might not be as fun as you think.
Hey everybody! I am so bummed out right now. I tried so hard to be able to go to the Universal Show tomorrow. I sent in a package to Ellen's publicist, applied for tickets the day they were available, entered contests, and nothing. There is nothing I wanted more than to be able to see a taping of Ellen and just be in her presence. My daughter has been through three major surgeries in the last year alone and watching this show has lifted my spirits and helped keep me going. All in all, my daughter has had about 12 surgeries in all and she just turned four. I have three bulging discs in my back and neck and just lost 44 pounds! I have put my life on hold for the last 4 years to care for my wonderful daughter and I am so SAD that I didn't get picked to go to any of the tapings. It's the first things I've wanted for myself just to make me feel good. I'm sorry for venting, but as I've secluded myself for the most part for the last four years, I don't really have any friends I can talk to and I feel stupid talking to my family about it. It seems so petty compared to all the other things going on in my life. Oh well. Maybe someone else feels this way and now they know they're not alone!
Hey Ellen, I am so excited to be a part of your Universal Show. I am bringing my niece who was born on April Fool's Day -- in a car. My sister never made it to the hospital. I hate roller coasters but my niece loves them -- Her name is Lindsay Silverman. It may be fun to play an April Fool's trick on her --

Aww this is so exciting!!! I have never been to Universal and I think it would be amazing to go!! I know that the Jonas Brothers are going to be there and I entered the contest and wasnt sure if you had picked a winner or not... If not I am really hoping you would chose me!! I would love you forever!! I am a freshman in college and am on my spring break this week and I would love to actually do something rather than stay in boring West Virginia all week... So please consider me!!

Ellen you crack me up. I listen to the screaming from the dueling dragons five days a week(it is right over the green house where I work) but when I watched the video of you on it I busted out laughing. I haven't seen it from that view. They looked worse than the Hulk. Haven't been on either one yet!(hint hint) Have fun! Oh my sister Linda turns 50 on April fools day :)

Ellen you have my utmost respect because I realize that it has taken you many years to get to a wonderful,comfortable (altho still working but you seem to love your job)place in your life.
I appreciate you and yes I would love to see your show, my life that was so "family oriented for 23 years"went to pot and now we are divorced,I feel like my life has really gone downhill. I feel the worst for my 2 wonderful kids.....My 19 year old boy is an honers student and seems to have his head on straight and lives with Dad, my 16 year old daughter just started having seizures (at 15) never, ever having them before in her life. I had major shoulder surgery, have a full time job, and it just feels like my life is go,go,go.
If anyone knows anything about"being at the end", just at the end, if you have ever just been at the end, you will understand.
