Who's That With Ellen?

Answer: Penelope Cruz.

Penelope studied dance performance for 4 years with Cristina Rota, took several dance courses at New York, 9 years of classic ballet at the Conservatorio Nacional and 3 years of Spanish ballet with Ángela Garrido.

Pelelope was nominated for Best Actress in 2007 for the film, “Volver.” The first Spanish actor ever nominated for an Oscar was Javier Bardem.

Penelope’s sister, Mónica Cruz, is now a TV star in Spain. She starred in "Paso adelante, Un" (2002) as a young dancer with a famous aunt.

Hi Ellen.

I know I am supposed to order tickets on line but I was wondering if you could assist me since this request is for a few months off.

My sone and his fiancee are getting married in August and are going to spend their honeymoon in Southern California.

The only show they would like to see why they are there is yours. You are our favorite TV host.

We live in Reno, Nv. and I know you need a local # so that is why I am emailing you.

They are arriving in Souther California on the 10th of August and leave on the 16th.

Are you going to be taping during that week and is there anyway to get tickets this far in advance?

I would really like to be able to surprise them with a pair of tickets.

Hope you can help me. Thank you

Just wanted to say that your show runs in England at 6.00 am every weekday morning and I get to watch it before I wake up my boys Rich 16, Matt 3 and Nat 18 months. I just love the way that you come over so natural and I have to say that I really do look forward to watching your show every morning (even though I get up at 5.30 to get the kids clothes and breakfast ready)!
Keep having fun Ellen and don't ever change! Come visit in London sometime, we would give you a great welcome here. I may even take the day off work and come to the show!!!

Ellen, is it possible for you to give a shout out to Katie. I met Katie on Friday at the taping at Universal Studios, she may possibly be your BIGGEST FAN!!! I was there with my future daighter-in-law Crystal(also in the running for your BIGGEST FAN)trying to get on the lawn to watch your show and met Katie. I told her where to go the next morning to try and get in the audience and that we would meet her there, but I didn't realize I gave her wrong information and I feel really badly!I looked all over for her and I couldn't find her to tell her what happened. Crystal had car trouble on the way home so she couldn't come back on Saturday. I went back by myself on Saturday hoping to meet up with Katie but like I said I couldn't find her. If you could give her a shout out it would be fantastic, I know she watches you everyday!!!!Thanks, Ellen you are the greatest!!!Love ya, Gina

Thank you, thank you and thank you once again for bringing you and your show to Orlando!! I look forward to it every year and it was fantastic. I had the best time!!! Your fans are the greatest people, so kind and caring. I was in the standby line from early in the morning and someone from the show came and told me I had to leave the line because I didn't have a letter that allowed me to be in that line. I was so upset!! The people in front of me were short a person so they asked if I could be added to their party!!!Wasn't that kind and gracious of them?!!I was so happy and grateful! The best part is I got to be in the audience for your taping of Wednesday's show and it was GREAT!!!!!!!So much energy, so much fun and ELLEN!!!!!

Re:marshmellow game. I watched the japanese version and the main difference with your version is the rubber band. If you notice their rubber is FLAT where your's is rounded, I think that's why everyone has difficulty with it riding up their face. Look again at the original version and you can see what I'm talking about.. anyway love that spot, I find myself holding my breath and straining with the contestants!

Hi Ellen,

My name is Karen and I live in Washington, DC. I retired after 31 years in the Federal Government and your show is truely a bright spot in my day. My dog KayCee and I watch every day, she enjoys you, too. Especially the music. I would like to send you a picture of her but I am not sure how to attach it to ths email.
I have a comment for Jacqui. Didn't the marshmellow game originate in Japan. Why not wear the ethnic dress of the Japanese. I think there is something else going on with Jacqui if she does not want to watch your show, anymore!

ELLEN ELLEN ELLEN ELLEN ELLEN PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE... READ THE FOWLLOING LETTER MY LITTLE SISTER, MOM AND I WROTE FOR YOU WITH SUCH GREAT PLEASURE!!!Ellen I love your show i record it everyday and watch the episodes over and over again. I like your show so much i had to receive a kick on the knees in order to watch your dam show. When my little sister would watch the disney channel and i would take the tv away from her to watch your show she would kick me very hard and star cying and screaming; "Mom Yanely, took my tv time to watch stupid stinky smelling Ellen."(She's only 6 years old so please forgive her.) However now she watches your show with me and she thinks your funny so now she calls you "Funny smelly ellen" Anyway my mom says. "Thank you Elena for your show my daugherts learn to not act like cats and dogs with eachother anymore... well at least for a good hour until your show is over. Que Dios te Bendiga." (sorry for her pronunciation shes hispanic and calls your name in spanish "Elena") by the way "que dios te bendiga" means... May God bless you!

I'm writing regarding the comment from Jacqui Katai. I don't think the Kimonos the women wear during the Marshmallow Game is negative in any way. I don't think Ellen or her staff meant to disrespect anyone's ethnicity by having these women wear them. Just my opinion. I will definitely watch Ellen again. Everyone has a right to voice their opinions.

Hi Ellen,

I have enjoyed your humor (before your show) and your show.

I was watching today and your segment on the "Marshmallow Game" came on. Although it is a very funny game, I wondered why you had to have the women dress up in Kimonos?

I found it very offensive. Why should they dress up in ethinic dress of the Japanese? I am so surprised at you! I love a good joke and poking fun at stereotypes, but this really was stepping over that line of poking fun.

I don't plan on watching your program any longer.

Jacqui
