Who's That With Ellen?

Answer: Hillary Swank.

Hillary made her film debut in "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" in 1992. She played the character "Kimberly Hannah."

Hillary, along with Vivien Leigh, Sally Field, Helen Hayes and Luise Rainer are the only actresses to have been nominated for Academy Awards twice and win both times.

Hillary married actor Chad Lowe on September 28, 1997. The two met in 1992, on the set of "Quiet Days in Hollywood," a direct-to-video film.

HI Ellen,

I have the ultimate person for you to have on your show. He's a new country singing sensation and an absolute amazing person, Jason Michael Carroll. I have known Jason for almost 10 years now. I've watched him pay his dues in nightclubs all over the east coast. He's got some wonderful songs. His biggest hits so far are "Alyssa Lies" and "Living Our Love Song". Each song he sings has a very special meaning to him. "Alyssa Lies" is about a topic not many people have ever approached in song.. child abuse. Since this song hit the airwaves, he's had a teacher approach him and said she played it for her class.. seven children came to her and asked for help because they were in an abusive home. "Living Our Love Song" is a wonderful song.. about him finding his ultimate true love.. his wife Wendy. They were high school sweethearts but ended up going in different directions after graduating.. both had married and divorced, but somehow found each other again..
Jason has the ability to make the worst day feel wonderful just from his smile.. His heart is as pure as his love is for his fans.
I'd love to see him on your show. I hope to one day get to be at your show live also.

Thank you and I'm sorry this was so long!! Have a great week!

Denise

Hey My Family loves your show a lot you just have great dance moves maybe you could teach me some any way you do not need to change one bit.

Hey Ellen:

I'm Peg Easley from the Big Easy. I have always been a fan and remember you from the days of New Orleans theatre. Remember Edward Cox and Eddie Killeen? Maybe not...

We have something kinda in common - you went to Bridgedale Elementary and last year I taught a Junior Achievement class to 3rd graders. OK - that's stretching it, but help me here!

I don't get to watch you show much because I work during the day and I'm too techinally challenged to learn how to record on my VCR. It's a Magnavox and I've had it for about 4-5 years.

If you're ever in the neighborhood, please feel free to stop in and teach me how to work this thing so I won't have to miss any of your shows.

I am very appreciative of how you have helped and promoted our area. I am fiercely proud of being from here and can't imagine living anywhere else, except for maybe in the summer.

You and your show have made me feel better when I'm home sick. Laughter is the best medicine.

The world needs more people like you.

There is a TV show called "Monk" that I am absolutely addicted to. Could you have the cast on your show someday. Thanks.

Hey Ellen, wanted to let you know that I love the show and you always make me laugh. I get depressed alot but when I see your show my day gets better. Thank you for being you and being real.

your fan

Hi Everyone,

This is exactly what I had in mind when I made my original post! Just all of us fans coming together as one, to help just one person.

I wish I knew why this post hit me so hard, I can't figure it out. I have thought about it all day, nothing. I just have this overwhelming urge to try to help Kyle have a really great birthday.

Just in case you would like to learn more about Kyle I found these web addresses. Take a look, sign his guestbook on the CaringBridge site......no pressure! Here are the addresses:

Anyway......thanks to all the fans that left a post on behalf of Kyle..........it made me well up and shout out loud "YES!" when I popped onto this board and saw the support from everyone. Plus I got warm fuzzies all over, what a great feeling! Now if I can just figure out how to get 500 or so more people to just take that minute? I will do what I can and keep posting in the hopes that Kyle's story will touch someone else the way it touched me.

Thanks again.

My Best to all of you and of course to Ellen too!

Kelley Wilson

Dear Ellen

I've just finished reading Kelley Wilson's letter and the tears are flowing. Mostly because I get mad at myself for the little things I get crazy over. When you read stories like Kyle's, and how he still maintains the spirit and positive outlook, the small problems we face day to day are so minor.

I'm so hoping you will be able to make this little boy's dream come true. He needs a little something positive. Every kid needs a positive memory. This little boy derserves a little pleasure in the midst of all his pain. Thanks Ellen. What a great present it would be.

DON'T KNOW WHO SHE IS, BUT SHE NEEDS SOME MEAT ON THEM BONES!

HI ELLEN!!!!!

PLEASE HELP KYLE!!!!
