My Thought...And I Do Have One

MY SPRING BREAK ...AND I DO HAVE ONE

I'm having the time of my life here in Orlando. It's great to be able to go on spring break without having to go through all that pesky time-consuming trouble of actually going to college. Although I did take out a student loan to pay for this trip.

Universal Orlando Resort is a really fun place. There's nothing more relaxing and peaceful than walking around and hearing thousands of people screaming at the top of their lungs. I found out that kids get to ride, eat and stay for free! I gotta get me a kid. Or doctor up my driver's license. You can tell that the rides here are really scary because when you get on them, you have to stow all your belongings. Then they strap you in and pull a bar down over your head. I haven't had that kind of security around me since I was in prison. The weirdest thing is they tell you that if you are wearing flip-flops, you have to take them off and sit on 'em. Because you know how valuable flip flops are. In San Diego, they use them as currency.

I went on the greatest ride this morning. You walk into a small room and giant doors close behind you, so you're trapped. Then all these buttons light up and it just drops to the ground! It was thrilling! I think they call it the "El a va-tour." If you haven't been on it, I totally recommend it!

Ellen,

I'm currently home being treated for Cancer and for the past 2 months I've watched you every day. I can't tell you how much you do for me with your sunshine and light...you even outshine Orlando...I'm loving watching you while your out there. It's cold and rainy here in Arlington, VA but you always warm me up. When I get better and I will...My Care Taker Clayton and I will be out to see you. If you have time I've set up a blog to keep all my friends and family informed of how I'm beating this illness... scottsdtd.blogspot.com is the link...enjoy Orlando!

Love, Peace and Light,
Scott Olson

What do you mean kids ride, eat, and stay for free? I paid for my daughter...hmmm...did I get hosed? Oh well, it was worth it.

We loved playing with you by the pool. It was so much fun. Thank you for always being a light in this world.

My daughter was in the towel shack clip (dowel, cowel, fowl)....she had so much fun. I was so excited when she came home to tell her she was on the show. After she watched it, I asked her if she was going to tell everyone at school. Her response was, "No". I asked her why not. She said, "Because that would be bragging and it's not nice to brag!"

She's such a good kid. She really enjoyed you (even if she didn't get your autograph...hahaha)

Thanks again.
Marsha M.

Dear Ellen, I do have a thought now again and I ahve written you a couple of times about the fact that you never have male contestants on you show,as in the marshmellow game, or go through the wall game, or even when you them the chance to win a really bid prize by studing a manual and that answering questions. What about having Chester and Iframdoing some of these games. Iwould love to see a 6.ft5 man try some of those . Please relpy . Thanks Pamela Mcquin P.S. as I have offer to be your guinea pig for any adventure call me.

I'm only 16 but all day at school I look forward to coming home and watching your show.
One day I'll be able to go :)
You're the best though, I think my favorite thing so far was watching King put your underwear on his head and eating your book.
Have fun in Orlando
:D

Ellen, I really liked your synchronized pool excercise but my favorite was the kids covered in bubbles. You could tell they loved it to. I'm sure they can't do it at home. It was so nice to see "you so happy and enjoying yourself". It made my day.

Ellen,
We were so fortunate to get to see you in Orlando, thanks to 2 friends of ours who shared with us.....as I have been trying to get tickets for your show in California for over 2 years....and still will keep trying. You are one of the most genuine and caring performers that is on TV. I wish I could have hugged you when you went by me at your Friday noon show. Not getting the CD was OK, would have loved to have Paula Dean's cookbook though, she is great, or Jeff Foxworthy's book. Well thank you for coming back to Florida and do hope to see you in California sometime soon. So, KA KA for now and Back at YA.
Love to you and your loved ones.
