My Fishy Wrap Lunch

Today for lunch I am having some delicious tilapia lettuce wraps with caper remoulade and arugula salad. As I've said many times, I probably couldn't tell a tilapia from a flounder. (Although, if the flounder was floundering around, I might guess right.) If there are any tilapias reading this, don't get me wrong, I don't mean to offend. It's just that to me most fish ...just taste fishy and delicious and that's as detailed as I can describe it.

There's a lot of stuff that I eat that I'm not exactly sure what it is, but if I try it and it tastes good, what else do I need to know? Take remoulade for instance. I've heard of it, I'm sure I've had it before, I have no idea what it is but I'm glad Ray Moulade created it. I probably couldn't tell the difference between arugula or frizzy or radicchio but there's one thing I am sure about. ...It's really hard saying arugula frizzy and radicchio 3 times really fast ...with your mouth full of tilapia.

Enjoy your lunch,
Ellen

Do you get any input into what you eat? Because if lettuce and two small pieces of fish inside lettuce was on the menu, I would quickly pass. This looks like a really boring and yucky lunch. When you finished eating, did you even feel like you ate anything? :o) Do they feed you more at supper? Because if your supper looks like your lunch, then honey, you aren't eating enough calories per day!!

Here's hoping your chef comes up with something more interesting for you tomorrow.

Hi Ellen,
I've noticed how slim and trim you are looking. Those healthy low carb lunches must have something to do with it.
I want you to know I think you are beautiful and you seem to get more and more beautiful all the time.
You beauty comes from within and shines like a funny sun.

Love you so much,

Marta

ELLEN!!

You ever get bored of eating the same food?

I wonder about that with dogs.. I mean you feed 'em the same food .. ?? One of my many thoughts. Cats too.. horses.. all of 'em.

SOoooo I do .. I get bored. I eat the same things... you do the change up to make it interesting.. and watch the cooking channel get more ideas of how to make and what you can make/cook.. have to eat.

You ever just want something different??? I eat mashed potatoes... milk, bread, eggs, food... I'm only 37 ??? Sometimes I crave foods but it sure would be nice to have something I've never had before.. that I would like of course.

What am I hungry for tonight??? What will I have tomorrow for lunch? Ummm??? Sometin will grab me.. it always does! LOL

Oh, also, I have no idea what you had to drink with your delicious looking lunch today. I mean, did you have freshly sqeezed lemonade? a cup of fresh brewed iced tea? mountain spring water? pulp free orange juice? 2% milk? ...whiskey?

Love always,

Dear Ellen,

It looks like you forgot to take your cup of vitamins yesterday and today...or maybe they were not in the picture. Perhaps in the future you could treat your vitamins like students when they get their yearbook pictures taken. When students miss the day they get their picture taken, they always have a note in the yearbook at the bottom of the page. For instance, [not pictured: multi-vitamins & antioxidants].

Have a magical day!

Cheers,

Jenny

Hi Ellen and Fans!

I have been in contact with Kyle Hickoks dad and now have a mailing address for him. There was a woman (sorry I forget who you are) who posted that she had some Hanna Montana pics that she would like to pass along. Please go to Kyle's CaringBridge site and click on the guestbook, you will see his Dad left a message with his E-mail address. That was how I got in contact with him. I am going to send a few video games to him for his birthday.

If you don't want to have to register at CaringBridge to leave a message you can contact me at ***GULP - this could be a mistake, but I never do anything half-way so...*** nikki8541@hotmail.com

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE contact his dad or I as I know Kyle would probibly love to have actual pictures of Hanna Montanna!

Ok...dearest Berliner. I will let you know that many tilpia (farm raised) dine on their own waste. It was possibly that, that settled very poorly with me the very last time I ate tilapia.

Dear Dottie Dearest, I have just returned from St. Augustine, where I was checking out a business property for rent on St. George Street. Strangely enough, there was a bib like ewe mentioned in ewer previous lunch discussion on top of the wooden trash recepticle next to the property. Well, as soon as Eye touched it, Eye received a message that it was in fact ewers. Eye just know it has to be ewer favorite bib and I'm sorry ewe misplaced it. Eye would be glad to bring ti to ewe the next time ewe are in St. Augustine or ewe can drop by HERE. The ABC Liquor store on the way out of town had Bacardi 8 in stock, and as Eye was purchasing a bottle, Eye got another message that said for me to take the rest of the afternoon off. Eye really wish ewe were HERE... I'm sure it would be delightful. By the way your lunch looks great, but they're still not giving ewe a spoon... Eye clearly see the space where it belongs. Sincerely Eye DO, Sphoon

Watch out! You cannot really eat every fish, because of the overfished sea.

Unfortunately "No more tilapia for me" doesn´t tell us, what she/he knows about the food of tilapia.

Your lunch looked great, not to mention very healthy. Thats the key to looking and feeling good. Its got to start from the inside out, you know the saying, "we are what we eat"!

Your show lifts my spirits everyday, keep up the great work. Have a wonderful day.

Ellen...do you know what tilapia feeds on? You might want to do a little bit of research!

The last tilapia I met up with put me in bed for 2 days and in a very bad way. Like "I think I'm gonna die" way. Mostly my fault for not cooking it thoroughly. Just the same, no more tilapia for me even if Ellen's chef prepares it on delicious healthy greens. Been green on tilapia...oy oy never again. Here's to your health Ellen and properly prepared tilapia.
