Hey Ellen, I just had to share my cute Obama story and i thought you just might be the person who might get a kick out of it. We live in Saskatchewan, Canada and i have a two year old daughter. On Jan.20 While watching all the presidential coverage my two yr. old turned to me and said "I go there to that party?" My reply was that that was a party for the president and that we would have to get on a airplane and fly there because it was very far away.She stopped and asked to phone her Daddy.( My husband works away from home) She got Daddy on the phone and asked him if he could put her on a jet and fly her to the presidents party so she could dance with him! I couldn`t beleive it!! She`s 2! and that is not all for the rest of the day she danced around the house singing Obama, Obama.

Congrat's on your recent marriage. I know how badly you and your mom have been waiting for that special day and I'm so happy that your day finally came.
The reason why I'm writting to you is to ask a favor. I know you are asked a million times a day for favors and I know that most of them are more important than mine. But, my favor is a small one and one that will mean the world to not only to myself but to about 190 boys and girls from the ages of 7-14 in our community.
My name is Cathy Reed and I'm the treasurer and fundraiser coordinator for 3 youth football teams and 3 youth cheerleading squads in Chesapeake City, Maryland. The name of our organization is the Bohemia Manor Jr. Eagles Football Team. On Thursday, Sept. 4, 2008, 2 sets of practice lights that we rented were stolen. The lights that we used are simular to the road construction light towers. The company that we rented them from is demanding that we pay for the stolen lights which cost $10,000.00 or more. We are doing everything we can to raise the money to replace the lights, but we are a small community, with small businesses. The police dept. has no leads, we have been in our local news paper and my husband, who is the Program Head Coach and myself have been on two Baltimore News Stations asking for help in either finding the lights or with donations. Thanks to a few businesses and parents in our community, we have raised a little over $900.00, but with no larger businesses in our area, it is going to take a miracle to raise all the money needed to pay for the lights. If we can't raise all the money for the stolen lights, we will need to pay the company with funds that are put aside for special activities that we hold for the children in our program, supplies and equipment needed to finish the season, and more important, to our children, door prizes at our banquets and their trophies. We will be totally wiped out not only for the remainder of this season but for next season as well.
One of the many small fundraisers that I'm organizing is a gift basket full of local business t-shirts and "Special" t-shirts, that's where you come in. I was wondering if you could send us an "Ellen" t-shirt to add to our basket? You have a ton of fans here...including me...in our beautiful small town. And I know if we have just one of your cool tee's, we could sell more raffle tickets.

Hi Ellen ! I really enjoyed the lion video aired March 14, but erased the recording by mistake. Could you tell me where to find it? I tried Google, but did not see this particular lion video.
