Ellen,
loved it when you drove your new car onto the show! LOL! I can relate to those who posted befor me - my tire keeps going flate becase I need new things to put the tires on ( whelles or rims) I don't know I'm just glad I know how to put air in it!!!LOL!
I have a Friend in GA who has a car that she has to carry a jug of water with her all the time while taking her son back & forth to school & her working & even though it doesn't get much below 30o down there she has no heat in the car for the winter or air for in the summer - so it would be Great if she could win a new car some day!
Love you Ellen- have fun in Florida!

Hi Ellen,
I think it is wonderful that you give things away to others. You realize that when you sow a seed you reap a harvest. May God bless you in all you do and may you always have enough.
Ann
I thought I had it bad. There is always someone in worse shape than you. Everyone that is down in anyway, just keep your head up!!!!
Watch out motorized coolers are invading Vermont. I am going be so annoyed if i get behind that guy who is driving it to Vermont whe he delivers the cooler to Duxbury. I live right near Duxbury VT. I think you should have thrown in an ice scraper and an i_pod so he could listen to tunes.

My dearest Ellen,
My name is Diana and I live in Baltimore, MD. I would love to drive to FL with you. Baltimore to FL would probably take approx. 24 hrs. depending on who's driving. (I could probably get us there in about 15 hours or so), I drive kinda fast. OOOOO we could stop at South of the Border!!that would be fun!! Anyway I'm petite so I won't take up much room, I love all kinds of music, & I promise to make funny faces at other people driving on the road. We'll have a HOOT!! I'm a single mom, & I've worked 3 jobs, 7 days a week, for toooo long. Well that's all changed lately. I recently found out the value of personal time, so now I don't work that much anymore. You say the word and I'm there. If you pick me though, do you mind writing the dentist I work for an excuse slip??? That would help.
Look forward to hearing from you
Diana
ellen your so funny my life has went to hell and back but you always make me smile and laugh. I started watching you about three years ago when my son flipped his truck 6 times and ended up bayflighted to bayfront hospital in st. pete fl hospital. ive went thru three years of hell with him my husband left me my truck broke down. i lost my job. im staying at my daughters house. i watch my grandbabe three days a week. my life really sucks a big on. but with all thats going on at 400 pm i know i will get to laugh for one hour. thank for the hour of laugh. if you wont to give a car away my 26 year old son and his wife have two kids shes in collage and hes a oyster man. the really need one she has to get a ride every day to go to school witch is over an hour from were the live. thanks for listening to my rambling .
I just want to let you know Ellen, how great you are... When I set up my 'my space' page and was asked who my heroes were you were first to come to mind. Not only are you so POSITIVE, (which we need more of in this world), but YOU have accomplished so much! I don't even know where to begin to compliment you; You face issues that other people won't even touch but in a positive/loving way- the fact that you are a lesbian and not shouting it out but acting as a normal human being is something you can be proud of. Not Gay rights but 'equal' rights. Oh, and you always dress so respectfully, no big diamonds that could feed a whole village; actually some of the diamonds famous people wear could build and feed a whole village. You are always so funny- I was sad today cause my husband's car broke down this morning and the transmission is going up on my car and yet, you always get me laughing so hard that I have make sure I pee before your show starts (just kidding)!! Anyway, you are a true inspiration cause I feel with all the problems going on in the world right now- being positive and nice to others, even though there are problems, is the way to start.
Thank you for putting smiles on millions of faces everyday.
Keep up the dancing, cause there is a lot to dance for- Yay!

It's not how many years are in your life. It's how much life is in those years.

Ellen,
My name is Casey Melvin and I am 21 year old married college student at Western Carolina University in North Carolina and I watch your show every day. I was watching your show the other day and saw that sweet blue Camry you were driving around and I had a great idea. Since Toyota's are such amazing cars and you are such an amazing TV host you should give one of those suckers away. My husband and I are both having to share his truck because my car isn't in good shape and its starting to sound like a moped. We dont have the money to fix the car because repairs cost so much and my husband is the only one working because I am a full time student. So, I thought I would pass my advice along to you and say, "Hey Ellen, it would be great if you gave your car away to a 21 year old college student living in Cullowhee, North Carolina (who's name is Casey Melvin)! Lots of love to you Ellen!
Casey Melvin
First of all i just want to say that you look absolutely wonderful for turning 50!! My name is Lindsay Millard. I am 18 and i live in Laceyville, PA. ( i know.. now one has heard of it.) Well i just was actually writing in regards to my mother who watches your show every day and she absoultely loves you. She suffered from a brain aneurysm and now suffers from a deep state of depression. It seems that watching your show is one of the few things that makes her laugh anymore. I know that she would enjoy driving in a brand new car out to see you. She has never had or even rode in a brand new car. She currently owns a 1988 Ford Bronco that needs a new motor. We have never been to california or barely out of the state. Please allow us the privilege to come see you Ellen. I hope to hear from you soon!

Hello Ellen,
I started watching your show about 2 months ago you are hilarious! I was recently laid off from my job in Feb. Which was a nice break because I'm now 4 months pregnant, and a little rest is nice. Your show is the only reason I'm waking up in the morning I need a good laugh; because I've been depressed I'll be losing my med. insurance in 5 days. I love your energy and spunkyness thats the personality I have and I've lost that because of the upcoming situations in my life. My fiance and I live in Pennsylvania and we'd love to come to your show, I need my boost of energy back. Happy belated birthday. Hope to hear from you. Love Kari

Hi Ellen,
Love your show. I enter every contest on tv and home lotteries, buy chances, go to bingo. In all my 74 years have I ever won one thing, Guess I was born under a very unlucky cloud, one bright spot in my day is watching your show. love ya,
Josie
I watch the show everyday, and LOVE Ellen. I'm sorry to say, but there is NO contest for Ellen to pick anyone up. "Ellen Wants to Drive You to Tomorrow's Show" is just a funny title for this video. They're not picking anyone up for any show.
The only giveaway for a car was back in February when they gave away the GMC. They showed that episode again this week, where she talks about it, but that's just a repeat. They're not giving a car away again.
I'll keep watching the show and laughing every day though! Car or no car giveaway, doesn't matter to me. I still love Ellen!

Ellen,
We love your show and really enjoyed your funny story about where your animals all sleep around you in your bed, and how careful you have to be to not disturb them. My family has 2 dogs, 3 indoor cats, and about 10 outdoor cats. My older sister’s household also has 2 dogs and 3 indoor cats. Our animals sleep with us and we know all about those precarious sleeping arrangements.
We thought since you were such an animal lover that you would sympathize with our story. On March 14, my sister’s Jack Russell terrier puppy, Odie, was hit and killed by a Domino’s delivery driver. The driver had been aware that her puppy had run out when the driver came to the door, and saw her son chasing it around the yard. Nevertheless, he went down the street, turned around, and came back by her house at high speed. He didn’t even stop to see what he hit – just kept going. My sister’s puppy was just like a child to her and she cried for days. We thought that Domino’s would be completely remorseful and apologetic for what happened, but after calling to explain the situation, it took days to hear back from a manager. When we did, the manager did say she was sorry, and asked if there was anything they can do. My sister asked if they could replace the puppy – pay for a new one. The manager turned defensive and said she would have to talk about it with her husband – who she owned the franchise with. This was 3 days ago, and my sister has not heard back. My sister called the corporate office, and they told her that it was her fault – that she should have been more careful with her dog. This is outrageous.
We think a company like Domino’s should be able and willing to pay for a new dog for my sister. The fact that they are ignoring my sister and treating her like she’s overreacting, that it’s not a big deal, is just heartless. This story needs to be told. I think dog lovers everywhere, especially you, would be sympathetic. It would be great if you could tell this story on the air, so people would know what little regard this corporation has for animals.
Thanks Ellen, for continuing to bring a cheerful and funny hour to our days. Keep up the good work!
