DEAR ELLEN,I LOVE UR SHOW AND UR GENEROSITY.MY GD.MOTHER JUST PAST IN AFRICA .COULD U HELP ME WITH THE PLAINE TICKET?HER FUNER.WILL BE ON APR.25.08 IN AFRICA.PLEASE HELP ME PAID HER MY LAST RESPECT SHE WAS EVERY THING FOR ME .THANKS.WE LOVE U.
Well 1st of all that last comment from that person on the blog pg. she is very cranky, she must be a pesamistic. Whether or not Ellen reads all of the emails, i'm sure she does but she chooses which one will go with the way the show is going that day. so to that lady...don't hate!!
Ellen, heres my questions, just 2 easy ones.
1st-I LOVE all your tennis shoes you wear, I love tennis shoes, I bet you like to wear the new ones that day because THEY MAKE YOU JUMP HIGHER AND DANCE BETTER!! everyday do you wear a different pair? very cool!
2nd-this just is my prob. I know your give aways are always the best. (and not just my 10 favorite things time) Now, just when I think you are done giving away the MIXER, YOU KNOW THE STAND UP ONE, well I've tried for yrs and yrs to get on in Pink, but I can never find on on sale, and 399 well that's too much. I just wanted to let you know that you can give them a toaster or blender. That won't hurt so much. So just no more "Kitchen Aid mixer" to give to the audiance, k? I really jump around and scream every single time, even my friends call to tease me whe you do it.
My heart can't take it anymore.:)
Love ya,
Darlene , even if you dont know me, i'm still saying love ya.
ps, thank you for making me laugh everyday, because i am still singing "Apple Bottom Jeans, Boots With The Fur, The whole club Was Lookin at her....Shawty got lo lo lo lo lo lo lo! ha ha
One should not write or post if they just want
something; Ellen you are awesome, and I like
reading what others post,I just wish I would see
more things on how awesome you are for all you
do, instead of what people want from you.
Love ya Ellen,
Susan
ELLEN DOES`NT READ HER EMAILS ARE YOU KIDING ME?BECAUSE IF SHE DID, SHE WOULD HELP THE PEOPLE WHO WRITE HER RIGHT?WELL SHE DOES`NT,AND IT MAKES ME SICK.
Ellen,
I am writing to let you know how much I love your show. I was very sick in the later part of 2006 thru the first part of 2007 and could not work due to hurting my back. Eachday I was very glad to see your show come on, it makes me laugh. I am feeling much better now and am back at work, although things are still very hard for me as I have daily pain to deal with. I TIVO your show and watch it daily. Thank you for the laughs and keep up the good work. I don't know what I would have done without you during my time of need.
Love,

Hey Ellen,
A couple of weeks ago my car started bogging and I had to have it towed to a friends house. It just so happened to blow a head and now its unfixable. I bought it used and and only had it for 6 months. I had a back up though you would have to be a real secure person to want to ride in it. I have an 85 Chevy Impala, it sat for a long time and now something keeps draining the battery. The glove box keeps throwing up when I stop too quick, and its name has changed to Rusty. I have never been able to afford a new car, or for that matter one that even smelled like new. It would mean a great deal for me to be able to meet and dance a lil gig wit cha, then maybe get a car to boot? I love your show. I know I can always go online or watch when I'm feeling low and it always picks me up.
Thanks for the laughs.

love your show, im a caretaker, for in home support, my job is very rewarding, i always make it home to watch your show, unless my boys are giving me a double ride on their bike to go shopping, but other then that im in front of the t,vi dont own a car right now,i walk to work and ride my sons bike without brakes to, lal, i make it around our town, i walk to twin pines for elderly to be with my mother-in=law. if i had a car i can help more people stay in their own homes and not go into homes for resyhomes.

Hello Ellen,
Watch your show everyday and love you so much. I honestly look forward to your show everyday because its an hour of the day where I forget everything else around me. I tried to get tickets to your show in Orlando but obvisouly had no luck. I hope next year if you come to Orlando I can get tickets. Anyway I was reading some of your letters regarding the car you are giving away and I have to put my two sense in. I hope you give the car to the women whos daughter has no air in her car and is now paying the rent since her mom lost her job. I live in Daytona Beach FL and I remember when my air went out. You need to have air for one because it gets really hot here. She has also put herself through college and I know how hard that is, because I myself am just finishing college and have $50,000 in student loans. Second she is taking care of her family when she should be out enjoying these years with her friends. I just feel this girl deserves this car because it seems she is taking care of everyone else and someone needs to do something nice for her. I really hope you feel the same way I do about this girl.
Dear Ellen:
My daughters and I enjoy your show very much. We live in Sanford Florida which is about 45 minutes from Orlando. I am sending this e-mail on behalf of my oldest daughter Janelle. She has a 1989 Honda Civic that constantly breaks down and has no cold air, and for the past 4 years my daughter has put off with this awful Florida heat. She is an amazing daughter and helps me with her sister and other responsibilities, she is my best friend. Janelle has put herself through college and just graduated in December from the University of Central Florida. Last year went trough a traumatic experience at her job where she was held up at gun point at her job, but manage to escape unharmed. Later on this year I lost my job and have been unemployed since November and Janelle has used her savings to pay rent. She is not able to buy a car and make payments. I will be eternally grateful if you could find it in your heart to give my daughter a car that is economical in gas. Sincerely Zulma

How ironic...I missed a whole week of your show vacationing in Florida over Easter break with my two college-age daughters. Left Easter morning for our 1200 mile drive home and less than 2 miles into it we broke down! Had to wait until Monday for an auto dealership to open, the front strut spring was broke and had to be special ordered in from Michigan. Never got to leave for home until Tuesday evening(more than 48 hours later than planned and on my Birthday to boot !). Drove 21-hours straight back to PA, only stopping for gas. Missed my hubby by 3 hours, he had to leave for a business trip.
Well Ellen, I should have just flown from the start. I should have not made my daughters spend their entire spring break at their grand-parent's retirement RV village. I should have entered your car give-away contest before I left. I should have shut the bathroom door at that last pit-stop (yep, left it wide open; in my defense-I was delirious from lack of sleep. But it was okay, I was just usin the mirror; it was my daughter who was on the toilet!). I should have realized there was not much "goin" in our "girl's gone wild" road trip. I should have realized the most "wild" thing about me at this age was going to be the ability to stay up past 9 pm. I should have spent Easter and my B-day at home...with my husband, my little dog and daughters, and of course with the Ellen show (the 5 things that consistently bring me the most joy). I hope your Easter break anf Florida adventure was a little more exciting than ours.
Diana and "girls".
My mom deserves this car more than anyone. She has been a single mother for over 19 years. My mom has to scrimp by just to pay for food and our bills. My mom has NEVER had a new car. When our car breaks down(Which happens a lot) we have to walk everywhere. We have to walk to get food, we have to walk to go shopping, we have to walk for both of us to get to work, and we have to walk to get me to my college courses. We live in a town that doesn't have buses or any other transportation, so we have to depend on our vehicle. My mom has worked so hard to get almost nothing and she deserves this car more than me.

Ellen,
Hi my name is Elena I have written you a few times. I'm not goin to give you a sad little letter on why you should pick me...I honestly just think we'd have an awesome time! We could sing to random songs. I'm sure we would be very entertaining! Thanks for your time:)
