Hop in and fasten your seatbelts. Ellen wants to take you for a quick spin around the fantastic show she's put together for Thursday.
Hi Ellen,
My name is Pamela and I’m a 52 year old College student that will be graduating this coming Sunday, April 27th. After two years of studying hard I am graduating with an Associates degree and with high honors. I will have my HIT, which is Health Information Technology. I will also have my diploma in medical coding and a diploma in medical billing. I can’t believe I made if this far. You see about four years ago I was flat down in bed from five neck surgeries. I have so much pain every day that I’m on a lot of pain medication, some petty strong stuff. I also go to the pain clinic every three months to get these pain shots in my spine, these are for pain to, without these shots, I would not be able to be in school. Nor would I even be able to get dressed, sit up or even drive.
Now having said this, I’m not asking for anything. I’m grateful for everything I have. I guess that isn't much. Maybe not for the student loans I have. While I was in school, I was also on social security disability, but I wanted off that and wanted to see if I could work, so it was off to school I went. But while I was not working and home, I always watched you. It kept my spirits up. Listening to you while you called Gladys that made me laugh I couldn’t wait until the next time. She says the funniest stuff. I would ask that you keep calling her. Yes, I know you still do, I wish you could somehow get her on your show and if you did I would hope that I would be working so that I would be able to save up enough money to come and see you and her at the same time. Watching you brings a laugh to my day and that makes my pain a little less, so that is all I can ask.
Oh sure, my car is old, I don’t have any savings, I don’t have a house, my clothes are old, even my toothbrush is old. I even had to sell my dog for gas money for school. I bet not one person can top that one. I cried for two weeks over that one. Abby was a three pound Yorkie. She was with me when the pain was so bad I couldn’t take it. But I had to do what I had to do.
I also have to save for a tummy tuck after my last baby, he came out weighing 10 lbs 7 oz. Big baby. I have just lost 30 pounds, now is time for the flab to come off. Thanks for listening, you have a great show.
Many Wonderful Shows Ahead,
Pamela
Just wanted to let you know that I tape your show everyday so I don’t miss anything. Thank you so much for making me smile…Pamela
Ellen:
Like so many others I'm interested in how to win the Yukon Hybrid. I am a self-employed, single female. My business does require me to travel and I frequently have to drag around boxes or materials. I am retired and do my business of conference planning to help supplement my retirement income. The opportunity to have a vehicle like this would be a dream come true. These days with inflation and trying to make it on an income far below what the "establishment" seems to think we all make, owning a vehicle like this is out of the question for most of us. Please let me know how I can enter to win this fantastic opportunity.
Love your show. It is the only daytime television show I watch. I enjoy it so much because I believe you are a genuine, caring person and your show is always uplifting and fun.

Hi Ellen:
Just tuned in a few monents ago & came to website to enter for the Yukon give away but could not find the link.
Thank you for all of your good works. We have been recycling & not using soap (only bio-degradeable, non-polluting, organic products) since 1969.
Would love to win the Yukon to continue doing my good works for Seniors. Since retiring from engineering in '96, I have dedicated my time to helping senior, painting, cleaning, remodling, home health care & transportation. I only ask for $5/hr or less (sometimes for free) depending on what they can afford. I feel each & everyone of us has an obligation to give back.
Again thank you for all that you do. Stevie

Dear Ellen,
I like many others have been looking where to enter to win the Yukon Hybrid. I have a son who was laid off by the auto industry over a year ago. He is currently enrolled in college for an IT degree and his wife is going to RN school. As if that is not enough they are raising 4 beautiful children, 3 girls and 1 boy from ages 7 to 1. It is very hard for them to fit everyone into their pickup truck and be safe. We would all feel much better knowing that they were in a vehicle such as this and the money they could save on fuel would help them tremendously. I TIVO your show every day and look forward to that feelgood daily. Thank you and much success to you.
Hey Ellen,
First off I think you're the best and have been a fan for years! I am a home health care provider for the elderly in Colorado. I enjoy my work but sometimes I worry that due to the age and condition of my car that I will not be able to continue my work with the elderly if my car finally decides to stop running one day. I also don't have the finances to afford a used car let alone a new one. I use my car to run them to doctor's appts., hair appts., shopping and going to the park. My car is almost 20 years old and has 199,000 miles on it. I've even let a good friend take it to Oregon to attend a funeral many years ago. I also use it to car pool with a good friend to go work out together which helps my diabetes and of course running my own errands. I'm sure if you happen chose me to come out in a new car I could twist a few of my friends' arms and my partner to escape to California for a few days. And I know it would help me to continue my work with the elderly and getting them around in the winter also would be so much easier. Either way I will always think you're the best and admire the kind deeds you have done and I know you will continue doing them. You are a blessing to our world.
Dear Ellen, Iam a 56 year young female who just loves your show. I watch you religuosly everyday. I had to retire on diaability in 2004 due to complications from diabetes. one of the things from this horrible disease is neuropathy in my legs which limits my ability to walk long distantances and since I don't own a vehicle I was hoping to catch a ride with you to Chicago. I would really like to go, and to meet you Ellen will make everyone I know be put on notice.!! I love you for all the good and wonderful things you do. Keep up the good work Ellen and never stop caring about the planet nor the people that share it with you. May God continue to bless and keep you always.

Hi Ellen,
Just wanted to say how much I enjoy the Ellen show. I get the feeling that you are as caring and honest as you seem on the show. You are my favorite TV host.
I would love for you to come and get me. I just turned 66 years old on the 17th, my husband is 72. I retired in 2005 and now the gas has gone so high we are afraid to spend money to travel. Don't want to use it all up and be left with nothing.
Just wanted to say I love you.
Elaine
ElLEN,
my daughter is a huge Johnny Depp fan, if Johnny is ever going to be on your show, please email me because i would sell my soul to the devil to get her there Thanks for making me laugh. you truly are a godsend.
Ellen I do beleive you are one of the most honest person in hollywood. My daughter and I would love to come to your show in a car that was a hybrid but even if we won we couldm't due to my husband in in Iraq for the third time and due to very complicated sitution we are all in right now. Any ways we wanted to tell you that keep doing what you are doing, your laughter helps many as you know. We appreciate you and also believe in the act of paying it forward. Keep doing great deals for those who come into contact with you and your vision.
Sincerly,
Sherri and Cindy
First of all, I know that you are having David Beckham there on thursday and I LOVE him. He is so good looking I would love nothing more than to be there when you ask him to take his shirt off!!!! I am just as excited as you ellen!! PLEASE BRING ME TO YOUR SHOW. I WILL BE 21 ON MONDAY THE 28TH AND IT WOULD BE A GREAT BIRTHDAY GIFT!! I LOVE YOU ELLEN!
Ellen, My 1987 car has 230000 miles on it so I stay pretty close to home. I haven't been on vacation since 1991. I need to get away - I'm a first time grandmother at 60 and feeling old. How is it that you are 10 years younger then me but I look 20 years older then you. Do you have a secret? Please drive me to your show so I can ask in person.
Hi Ellen: Just love your show. Too bad it's in CA since I live in PA. I would absolutely love a ride in your car since we are retired and my van has 110,000 miles on it. My husband is 71 and still drives a school van. I still do some real estate but with so many miles on the car and the price of gas, I try to make to stay close to home; as you know, we don't get paid until we settle. Running people around and having them walk on you, does not help pay the bills. Since we are on a limited income, we are stretching all we can to make ends meet. Our grandaughter and great grandaughter are living with us so she can make ends meet. We help her by babysitting while she works and run the baby to day care and pick her up. This also takes gas and limits us more. Although she tries to help out, she is trying to catch up on her bills and go to college so she can have a better life for her little one and herself. We are about family, and if family does't help, who will? Thanks for making my day brighter each afternoon.
hello, ellen. i love your show and ever since i've been watch ing it, i have to say i look forward to monday's. due to un ex pected events in my life, i missed your show for about 4 months. i am catch ing up and love it. the games played on your show are so fruit (that would be good) and make me laugh. i like the idea of the competition, every one still wins, it's all about having fun. i like the new snowboard game, it's cool, wish you would put someone else on the board cause i keep crashin. thanks for the laughs and the good feelings.

Hi Ellen,
I am entering for my daughter who, Kristen, who is only 20 and is in her third year of college at SUNY New Paltz, New York. She has bben working so hard at college since she started, she deserves something spontaneously wonderful to happen to her in her life right now. She has worked so hard and made the dean's list every semester since she started. She is majoring in journalism and writes for the school paper and was just elected editor of the college newspaper. She also rents a 3 bedroom house with two other roomates which she has to keep a job year round to pay for it and also all of her college esxpenses such as books, supplies, gas and food. She will never ask me for anything. She is determined to do it all on her own. Her old ford car broke down just days before this past Christmas and she could not find a repair shop that could get it in and fix it before Christmas. She was so disappointed and hurt because she holds our family and Christmas traditions very close to her heart. She missed putting up the tree and decorating it and making Christmas cookies with us but Thank God, she found another student whom she hired to fix it for her. Just making it home in time for Christmas but as broke as anything. All the money she had put aside for Christmas she had to spend on getting her car fixed. We did have a great Christmas after all. But now she is debating taking an internship in New York City for the summer (possibly at SPIN magazine) and that would mean she would have to commute at least over an hour each way. Of course as a mother I am very nervous about her doing this especially with all the car troubles she has had so far with the old car she has now. So I would like you to please consider her for this car you have to give away. I am sure there are many who deserve it and I KNOW my daughter is one of them. Thank you , Ellen.

Hey Ellen, I was watching your show today and heard that you will be giving away a "Yukon Hybrid". I want to enter, but don't know how to on your website. I'm not going to give you some sob story about being old, sick, or having to help the elderly and handicapped; I just would like to have a new, "free" automobile. Who wouldn't. So, if you are just going to be drawing names from a hat or something, please consider this my request to be entered. Thank you.
