Hi Ellen my name is Christine, I'm a single mom of 3 girls and a son, I have ms and have had it for 10 yrs still going strong i believe in being positive and having a sense of humor does'nt hurt either. I live in Squamish British Columbia Canada right in the middle of Vancouver and Whistler so yes the world is coming here in just a few months.I have enjoyed you right from the start from the sitcom Ellen to present day Ellen talkshow you are a wonderful, kind, caring, compassinate and funny as hell!!!!!If only there were more people like you!!! Hi just writing this letter to tell you I watch you every day. Iam disable need a liver transplant but thats ok.I just want you to know you are the best person you help so many people,so many charities your just the best.your show is the best,Iwill never miss your show excuse this but this is the first time writing a letter using a computor as you can tell.I have two daughters who also love your show.Just wanted to see if you would get this letter,and again just want to say hay your the GRATEST.

Me and my doughter just love your show.Iam a Afrikaanse boertjie from South- Africa I am a divorced mom with 3 kids this last 4 years was really hard emosional and finansional with allot of strugles and tears. I learned to be thankfull for every little thing. If it was not for my mom and the Lord i wouldnt get through it .My car broke down and we wasnt on a holiday since we are alone.I really wish I could do something special for my kids and mom because they are always there for me ,my family is all that matters to me please help us . thans for listening Please get Wentworth Miller on your show.

dear ellen iam writing you hoping that you can help, iam umemployed i,ve worked in the medical field for over thirty years, i got hurt on my job and i was determine to go back to work inspite of them telling me that i could know longer work,and they found another embolished reason to get rid of me now i can, find work any where so now i don,t have any income and my sister who i live with she had total knee surgery and is receiving her long term disabilty and waiting for the views of her total disabilty so you see it is really hard now i,ve put in for minds and they keep dyning it i pray that you will be a presence help in the time of hope .

Dear Ellen,
Is there anything you can do for my brother. His wife had a massive heart attack about a year ago. He lost his job taking care of her. They are about to lose their house that they saved for years to get. I'm so scared for them. He has alot of experience in the construction field but can't find a good job. Do you know someone in Las Vegas that could offer him a job. I can give you his resume. Also his dog is very ill and he can't even afford to take her to the vet. He loves his dog very much. My brother is so kind to everyone, he sure could use a little help.

Ellen: I saw the show this past week where the mother of a young man who was beaten, tied to a fence, and died shortly thereafter in a hospital brought me to shoulder-shaking sobs. For many reasons, I've been trying to write a book entitled, The Tragedy of Being Misunderstood. I am sickened by the cruelty inflicted any individuals by those who have never taken the time to understand what angers them to the degree of violence. The parent of this individual on your show defined the difference between CRIME and HATE CRIME. If we're ever to survive as a race (let alone Nation), we need to love (not as in the cute smiley-face, cutsie love, but as defined in any reputable dictionary). The opposite of love is not HATE, it's INDIFFERENCE. The boys in the car who beat this young man are guilty of a crime too horrible to describe. But I really became nauseated hearing that there are States in our Nation that are still THINKING about such legislation...sounds like indifference to me.
There are high-profile people, like yourself, who really CARE about the dignity of human (including animal and environmental) life, UNDERSTAND what it is like to be misunderstood (a puzzling fuel for hate), and SEE the overwhelming consequences for both. I've heard many say that an individual such as yourself is only into various rights, issues, and charities for nothing more than personal gains. Perhaps some are. You've been accused of it. President Obama is being raked over the coals for receiving his Nobel Prize for it as I'm writing. The criticism is in the motivation. As one person said to Mother Theresa, "I couldn't do what you do for a million dollars!" She replied, "Neither could I."
United Nations Day is on October 24th. I wonder, how should a Nation that can not simply defend the life and dignity of it's citizens celebrate that day?

ellen i have e-mailed you many times not sure you read it my family has been through alot we lost our son he passed away and in the same month our house gone to a fire to much pain in our famiy you don't no hurt until you lose a one of your babies it's the hardest thind to live with and then lose all you personal things i am raising his little girl and my daughter and still love my husband of 23 years but we need help our house is almost done and tried to get help but no one cares about a nobody so i wright you for help a hope maybe this one gets to you like i said the house is almost done but we need floorind lke carpet and we need siding i have called every building center but no help i remember we something like this would happen and so many would come together but the time are different nowi still have the horses it's all i can give you to pay youso please help my family i love them but it's the only way to pay you.5 people live in 3 rooms with no heat my husband is a heart panient he has open heart surgey and my daughter and my sons little girl and my other son live in this houselike i said no heat all that is needed to be home is flooring and siding about 8,000 to be home it about the same amount for one of the trips you give away everyday i don't understand i am a good person and have so much love if i was not from the u,s,a, maybe my family would get the help we need we are not a famous so i guess we don't matter i don't no what to do like i said i have tried everything with no help so here it goes please help my family.you are ellen all it is for you to do is make a call to one building center and they say yes i see you do it all the time if i call they hang up on me are don't care i hope you never go through the pain and suffering my family is going through it' to hard sometimes i think god forgot about us are doesn't love us any more i don't no.please help my family i am sorry if doesn't make sense but right now nothing doess .hurting in missouri

I am a huge fan of yours from Istanbul, Turkey...
Ilove to watch your show, I enjoy it a lot, ...You are incredibly funny and beautiful; :))
To cut it short, don`t wanna take your precious time..., I am 30 yrs old, a singer, song writer (in English not Turkish!!!)you would say how weird!!!!all through my childhood was listening to music in English maybe that`s why.
And the best part is that as a muslim, I wrote a Christmas Song, and would love to share it with you ...I didn`t have any chance to meet anyone like you, so you are my only hope, love to sing and write!
