DeAnna Pappas, who was unceremoniously dumped by the Bachelor last fall, thought she was just coming on Ellen's show to talk about getting rejected. DeAnna had no idea that Ellen was going to announce that she was selected to be the new Bachelorette.

Love your show Ellen!
I was so happy to hear that Deanna will be the next bachelorette! I can't wait to see her on this show and be the one choosing a man for her happiness. That was so..oo Ellen to suggest to Steve McFearson of ABC for Deanna to be the next Bachelorette and make that happen for her!!
WOW your giving away GMC's...that is something anyone would love to win. There are a lot of people out there who deserve to win one over myself...and our daughter is one of them. She's divorced, has two little girls and 6 months ago her Ex decided since she wouldn't (couldn't afford to) take over the payments, he took the vehicle from her (which we feel our granddaughter suffered from his decision too). He lives several states away, so no option of loaning the car to her on occasion either.
As we all know, you have to have a car to get to work and you have to have a job to afford a car/gas! Her oldest daughter is 6 years old and would like to be involved with after school activities. This too is hard to accomplish with no available transportation. Her father and I wish we could help out, but at this time, we just can't. We only have one vehicle and my husband has to drive it to work. He works 6 days a week just to make ends meet for the two of us. Since there is no public transportation nearby except for taxi's and we can't afford taxi services. He doesn't get home until close to midnight, so I have to run any errands before he leaves for work (by 11 AM). Having only the one vehicle makes it impossible for me to have a job outside the home and to help pay the bills. My husband works really hard and has always tried helping out others whenever he can. In August, we will be celebrating 34 years together!
Would it be nice for us to have a second vehicle? I would be lying if I said no! Certainly but we feel our daughter/granddaughters would benefit more if they had transportation. She would get a job, feel better about herself and our Granddaughter could get involved with an after school activity.
