Thursday, after answering Ellen’s probing questions, Colin Cowie had the good manners to answer the questions you so graciously sent in through the internet regarding style and lifestyles. You should send him a nice thank you note.

Oh Ellen!! I too need Suze's formula for combining 2 peoples' incomes together and what each should pay....I have seen her on other shows recently but she hasn't mentioned this topic since. It was something about each person paying a percentage of what they make? Oh please help me as my son is taking the plunge and finally moving out and moving in with his girlfriend. I really don't want money issues to be a their first argument in their new phase of their relationship.

Hey Ellen....Love you much!
I am trying to find out what Suze Orman's advice was to an audience member on Thursday's show, March 27th. The question was regarding getting married and each putting in the same percentage of income into the household expenses. What was Suze's formula for figuring that out? I only "half-heard" what she said as the phone rang and my baby dogs went crazy barking, so I missed what she said. I guess I should have Tivo'ed it, but... I don't have one...LOL! Anyway, would appreciate the info if you could help me out on that, as my partner and I are always arguing about money and am fed up with it as I seem to be giving a much higher percentage, (I think), of my Disability Income than what she gives of her much larger income.
Thanks a bunch!
Marcia D. Hawkins

I loved the segment with Colin!! But like another viewer that I saw posted a note, I wasn't able to catch his oatmeal segment....Ellen you are the most gentle, kindest soul that has ever graced the daytime or nighttime talk show circuit since I can ever remember, and I am 1 yr older than you!!!
I attribute this to your love for animals, you remind me of my daughter who is going to college in the fall, her dream is to open a barn for abused and neglected horses, you both have the same gentle soul!!! I think that is one of the things that draws me to you, except for your just so DARN FUNNY!!!!!!!!

Dear Mr. Cowie, Thank you for anwering the questions you did on the Ellen Degeneres website. I am fifty-three years old and my early childhood through high school was spent in Eastern Kentucky. Today, I am a United States Naval Reserve physician, and it amazes me that the general population of the United States is clueless concerning the basic wedding and dinner party questions you answered. Thank you so very much for being of service. Sincerely, Willaim C. York,D.O.,MC,USNR
