30 Seconds To Air


After 37 years of doing her show 365 days a year, (We don't air the shows she does on the weekends.) You can still see the emotions of joy and pride in Ellen's face. She can't get enough of doing her show. Most nights she sleeps on the bed that folds out from her chair on the stage. Often, she invites her audience to a studio sleepover. The fact is, that in all these years, Ellen has never left her studio. Sure, she's had her body double stand in, go out to make a personal appearance now and then, but the actual Ellen has never felt the need to be anywhere else. And there's no place she'd rather be than right backstage, when there's only ...30 Seconds To Air.

I really did enjoy your show today,the piece on sleeping with your animals sounds like my nights. I watched the show with my dog,Hershey Kiss, I keep thinking if only she could talk.
Last week I purchased a orthopedic dog bed for her, because she is getting old...Well, the other day I got up from the couch to answer the phone and when I got back the dog was sleeping on the couch...instead of waking her and making her get down....I got in the dog bed and their I slept all night!!!!!
I often wonder who is the dog and who is human!!!

Ellen, I have emailed you so many times. I watch the show everyday, if I have a Dr. appt., it's taped. My question is, "HOW dothese LUCKIEST people in the world, CALL??? Great to see the MakeitRight foundation is making progress, you must be well chuffed. Also, I have been reading this:

From Ellen-DeGeneres.com website. The group of people that call themeselves TEAM ELLEN have raised $6,620 to an animal charity that you support. Just to remind you, that a delegation from Team Ellen will be attending a taping of your show, on the 25th February..to hand over the money..wow!! How exciting is that???

It is really good that you and your management are involved in this venture..it would make a great PR exercise..don't you think!!

For those folks who are unaware of the Ellen-DeGeneres website, it is free to join and you are made to feel very welcome, also, it is a great way to get to go to a taping of the show, some have been more than once and even twice in the same season!! It really amazes me how this can happen, I thought you can only go once per season, but not so. So, to those folks who try really hard to get a ticket and have not been ever, it is worth joining the website, give it a go, they are classed as the greatest Ellen fan base in the world..

I better mention also that The Ellen DeGeneres Show management are crawling all over the site, which is a good sign.

As this money raised is to do with animals, I wonder how Mutts&Mums are doing?

Well done..TEAM ELLEN, you really amaze me..what next I wonder,stay tuned..have fun at the taping, shame you got stuck in the riff-room for Ellens birthday show, but you had already been to a taping anyway a few months back. But this time you have hit the jack-pot, good work..it always brings a smile to my face when I read that website.

So, all you folks out there, join the website and have a great time!! ;)
