Answer: Leah Remini.
Leah appeared as Carla Tortelli's daughter Serafina on two episodes of "Cheers."
Although Leah didn't get the role of Monica, she later guest-starred in one episode: "The One with the Birth."
Leah Remini was born in Bensonhurst (Brooklyn), New York, to George Remini, owner of an asbestos company. Leah moved to Los Angeles at the age of 13. When she was 14, Leah left school against the advice of her mother.
Hi Ellen:
My husband and I were in California for three weeks and we were fortunate enough to get tickets to see your show taped on Feb 4. I set the DVR at home to tape every show while we were gone. When we arrived home yesterday, I was looking forward to watching your shows. Unfortunately, the cable went down five days after we left and only three shows were taped. The show we attended did not even get recorded. It was the Mardi Gras show. I missed almost the whole month of february. What a disapointment! I even broke by tiddy bear you gave out on the show. What else could happen?? I did have a great time on the show - there is so much energy. Keep it going, Ellen..

ELLEN, MY BEST FRIEND, SAINTLY SUSAN & I WENT TO NEW ORLEANS THIS PAST SATURDAY TO CELIBRATE MY 58TH BIRTHDAY. WE LIVE ABOUT 200 MILES FROM THERE & VISIT OFTEN TO SHOP & SEE THE SITES. SUSAN ALONG WITH HER BROTHER HAVE HELD SEASON TICKETS TO THE SAINTS GAMES FOR YEARS.......I HELD A SEAT AS WELL BUT HAD TO GIVE IT UP DUE TO MEDICAL PROBLEMS. HOWEVER, NOW I AM DOING BETTER & GO AS OFTEN AS I CAN WITH THEM. KNOWING NEW ORLEANS BEFOR THE STORM & AFTER I AM PROUD OF YOU & THE MANY OTHER PERFORMERS FOR ASSISTING IN BRINGING BACK THE CITY I & MY FRIENDS HAVE COME TO LOVE SO... MUCH. You must realize by now you are obviously of
the specialicious variety of human. Getting
onto the business at hand though, I really
do need to win something, and very soon if
it could be arranged. I've never won anything
in my life, and ever since the Cheney/Rove
administration hijacked the country I have
had nothing but bad luck, aggravated by
aggravating characters in the white house.
Just a little luck, and/or an Obama or
Clinton nomination could also do the trick...
But I really need to win something to restore
my faith in humanity. Just a thought.

Hi Ellen, I love your show. I watch it almost eeryday down here in New Zealand, unfortunatly we are about 2 weeks behind. When we bring our children to disneyland in a few years we are so coming to see one of your shows. I am bummed ut we didn't do it last time but time was not on our side. Again we love you heaps here in New Zealand.

ellen i may only be 17 and in highschool but i seriously watch your show everyday at 4 o clock on channel 32!! I love you and so does my whole family we are trying to gather up enough money to come see you in orlando in march since we only live an hour away but i hope i get to meet you i really want to ride the hulk with you i unfortunately have never rode it in my 17 years of livng but keep it strong i love you and your show!!!!

HI ELLEN, JUST LOVE WATCHING YOUR SHOW. I WATCH AS MUCH AS I CAN. BELIEVE IT OR NOT I IAM A RETIRED GRANDMOTHER AND IAM ON THE GO MORE NOW THAN WHEN I WAS WORKING. I WORKED FOR 24 YEARS IN OUR LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL CAFETERIA.

How unfortunate that Leah's father owned an asbestos company. Asbestos is the only thing to cause Mesothelioma...asbestos lung cancer. This cancer is deadly...no cure. I know first hand the devastation it has caused our family. Ellen: I hope you warn Leah and ask her to be checked for this disease...it doesn't manifest itself for 35-45 years. She possibly was infected by the fibers as a youngster.
