Tuesday February 19th - Josiah Leming

18-year-old JOSIAH LEMING was surprisingly eliminated from "American Idol" last week, just missing out on being a part of the Top 24. It was an incredible upset so I'm having him stop by to tell us what happened. I think he got robbed so I'm going to make sure he leaves saying, "Whutt The February?" Then, the host of The Food Network's "Everyday Italian," the Petite Powerhouse, GIADA DELAURENTIIS is stopping by to cook us something good. I love my job. Where else can you just show up to work and have fantastic chefs cook for you? And, he calls himself "The R&B Hippie Neo-Soul Rock Star." I just call him my really talented friend! RAHEEM DEVAUGHN will perform "Friday (Shut The Club Down)" from his critically acclaimed, Grammy nominated CD, "Love Behind The Melody," which has hit #1 on the R&B charts. I promise that you will love him as much as I do. Plus, while we're grooving, we'll check in with the GMC Highway To Ellen crew. If they don't get lost, they'll be in Houston so we're going to have our favorite Texans, EPHRAIM SALAAM and CHESTER PITTS, take them out on the town!

next: Wednesday February 20th - Christina Aguilera

Hi Ellen,

Thank you so much for giving Josiah this chance to again show the world his talent. Of all the Idol wannabies, he is the one that they shouldn't have let go. Josiah, I am a fan and will always be. Can't wait to get a copy of your album, I know it will happen, just hang in there buddy. I am from Singapore, if you need to expand your fan base here, count me in... Hope to see you here in one of your future Asia tours...

We were visiting America from Norway and saw you on American Idol and have been routing for you and fans ever since. We will definitely buy your music. There was something decidedly pure and unique about your talent. Hang in there Josiah and continue to believe in yourself. Sometimes a downturn is the best thing that can happen to you, because it makes way for another door to open that may be the one you were waiting for - that you were born for.

Thanks so much for having him on you're show. I was so disappointed when he wasn't picked to continue to the top 24, i was really looking forward to seeing more performances from him. It makes me so happy to know that he got the chance he deserved!

Josiah Leming rocks and he should be on American Idol, he's at least better than the first 6 guys that left. Thanks for letting him on the show and giving him some cool stuff. GO JESIAH!!!!!!!!!

From the moment I saw and heard him sing Grace Kelly on American Idol, I said to myself, he's going to be the next American Idol. I was so shocked and in complete disbelief when they cut him from the show. He really touches my heart, and I'm always glad to see video clips of him singing and being interviewed. It makes me happy. He is also the reason I am a huge Mika fan now. They share some similarities, I think, in their philosophies from what I've read. I will definitely be looking for his albums and concerts which are sure to come in the near future. Hurray! for Josiah.

thank you soooo much for giving josiah another chance! i've fallen in love with him ever since his first audition and was absolutely devastated when he left Idol. (i think i cried more than he did :) i really apreciate your generosity towards him and wish him the best. YOU CAN DO IT JOSIAH!!! p.s. (josiah) i'll be the first one to buy your album! Love Ya!
