There is no such thing as the ObamOprah campaign. Barack has been campaigning for over a year, and Oprah appeared with him a grand total of four appearances in 3 states. Hardly an Oprah campaign. Clinton has taken Magic Johnson all over the country with her. Does that make a Hillargic campaign?

The media is not treating Hillary badly because she is a woman! Hillary has shamed all women with her daily ever changing dishonest drama against Obama. I still love you Ellen, but Hillary has disappointed and betrayed us by her behavior. NOT presidential. Sorry.

Ellen you must say this everyday until the election...

I give this mantra to you...

IF NOT HILLARY... THEN HUCKABEE !!!! LOL that is a joke..

ELLEN THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR PUTTING THE SUNSHINE BACK IN MY DAY..I cry every time I hear Hillary speak now because I do not want this opportunity to slip away..

BUT THIS IS NOT A LAUGHING MATTER.. THIS IS SERIOUS..Hillary knows it and we all know it too..
How many of you can think of a young boy, or young woman returning from war torn apart by bombs and not shed a tear..And you belittle Hillary for having feelings??? Hillary knows how important the times are.. she lived through the Viet Nam war just like most of us.. we know the cost of war is not measured in dollars.. but in human lives and suffering..

Is Barack even old enough to remember the Viet Nam war?? how long it dragged on and what the cost was to the American people..

I would rather have a President who can feel and cry than a puppet like we have now in the White House.

Thank you Ellen for finally coming out..(on Hillary)... you are a fighter just like Hillary..
Ladies we may never have this opportunity again to put a woman in the White House.. At least not in my life time..
I voted for her because she is the best qualified 'person' to lead us out of this mess. It is what she has been preparing for all of her life.. to lead and serve... she is the candidate of experience and change.. Obama is the 'fad' ..you could say he as gone 'viral' like a youtube video.. here today gone tomorrow..

It will take a woman to clean up the mess just like always..men never clean up after themselves.Bush has already promised us that he has not intention of getting us out of 'his' mess..

Barack will still be here in 2016.. But Oprah may be retired by that time.. No more Angel Network to pay for his campaign??

Hillary is a big cry baby! Her experience includes being the wife of a man who couldn't keep his sexual impulses under check! What kind of experience was that? She is nothing compared to Barack Obama, and she hasn't a chance in hell of winning the presidency! Do you people think that, just because of her gender, she is qualified? Thank God, you are outnumbered by millions!!! We shall have President Barack Obama in November, whether or not you want him!!! "Brains" and "honesty" shall prevail this year. We have had the opposite for the past 28 years!!!!!!

Come on Texas and Ohio! HHHHHHHHHillary!!

hillary 4 president, GO GO GO HILLARY...

Well I just read my previous comment and a few times I got ahead of myself and in parts it doesn't make sense!

Any who, what is clear is that Hillary Clinton is the best option when you look at things seriously! This country won't survive another term of asinine decisions! We have to think long and hard before we cast our vote!

Ellen,

I support Hillary Clinton 100%! When I hear her speak and look back on her career I actually have hope that things can improve! Versus, when I hear Barack Obama speak I must admit at first he sounds great and that is the problem he just sounds great I don't think he is an action type of guy! Did you know that over 100 times in the eight years he has been in the senate he voted present instead of yes or no! So what happens when there is a serious issue that needs to be addressed on the spot Does he I'm Hear and move on! With all that is going on across our Country and across the World; come day one of the next presidential we need someone who term from go can start repairing once great relationships, a real plan to turn our economy and housing industry around! We need someone who can base the hiring of there White House staff on actual intelligence, not some personal agenda!

I believe of the candidates Mrs. Clinton is the best one for the job! Do we want four to eight more years of uncertainty or our we ready for someone we can proudly stand behind!

Too many voters base there decision on one small issue, I am not saying what they care about is unimportant I just think with all that needs done we need to focus on the MAJOR issues! To get rid of some of our nation’s debt, figure out what else can be done in Iraq, come up with a real plan to get the economy back to good. And so much more!

~~~Clinton For President ~~~
Ready for Real change
I am really excited that you are a Hillary supporter!! From outside the box, it's really upsetting how the media has handled the Democratic candidates. Playing favorites, isn't helpful to either candidate, at least not in the long run. But, I like when I see faces, recognizable faces, that are supporting Hillary. She has gotten a raw deal throughout this whole process. If she cries - she's weak. If she doesn't - she's cold. She just can't win. I feel if people could just take a step back, and examine the situation as it really is, without all the media fluff, they would see that she is the most qualified person for the job. Our country is a mess right now, the world is a mess right now, we need someone who can handle stepping into all this chaos, and start actually handling it.
We need grace under pressure and extreme scrutiny - we need Hillary!
Dear Ellen,
Thank you SO much for standing up for Hillary! I have been so disappointed at the people who Hillary has worked with and supported for so many years, now turn their backs or jump ship. I think there's nothing wrong with someone who has been part of washington for so long - it's because of her and her husband that we can celebrate so many accomplishments in the areas of minority rights, women rights, healthcare, mental health, education, and the list goes on. I'm not turning my back on Hillary for being a fighter for so long. She's earned my support - not by words, but action.
Thanks again, Ellen.
I have another cent..forgot to mention about solutions versus change..Sen. Clinton had the experience and yet the problems we've been experiencing now had been caused by wrong decisions in the past. And Mrs. Clinton had been part of supporting those we know now are mistakes like NAFTA & the war in Iraq. Mrs. Clinton was right when she said "actions speak louder that words" --her actions in the past hopefully people know now were wrong. And if she's offering solutions that would just create more problems, it's not good to have a President like that. It's not always trial and error like in science labs. We need a President who has a good judgment and great ideas. Mrs. Clinton's health care mandate is a CATASTROPHE, Ellen. I hope you can see how much of a burden would it be to the poor people, middle class when a Pres. Clinton starts that plan! It's NOT GOOD IF PEOPLE ARE FORCED TO BUY HEALTH CARE PLANS (not everyone can afford it). Moreover, about these candidates supporting UAFA. I have doubts especially with Sen. Clinton and Melissa Etheridge said it best "we felt thrown out of the bus" (about same-sex couples disregarded when Bill Clinton was President backed by the LGBT community).. And I think Mr. Obama had a good judgment when it comes to the war (although he supported funding the war) and great ideas. I'm still a DENNIS KUCINICH supporter. I hope that people hear about him and hopefully, Mr. Kucinich's ideals, ideas and visions resonate and touch many...
I STILL LOVE YOU & YOUR SHOW ELLEN no matter who you support... For me, Dennis Kucinich is the best. Now, I'm supporting Mr. Obama: Yes, we can. Little change is better than no change at all. And I think that's what Mr. Obama offer: little change, small steps to get to the point we're we truly see GREAT CHANGES here & the rest of the world. Thank you.
dear Ellen
i just got though blogging on another site of yours and I'm sure have goofed it up. anyway. I'm a registered Republican hope i don't get eat up over that, anyway i am very upset about how different Hillary Clinton gets treated. and i think it is because she's a women. MY husband has said to calm down ( he votes repub. all the way)
but you know what I'm a women and I'm sick of always being on the back burner because I'm a women. some do it sneaky and others are blatant about it. Hillary is 10 times smarter then obama.sure he give good speeches, but where's the substance.
i think women have been fighting to be equal for years and years. and i think women have kind of backed off on standing up for our rights because for some they our treated equal.
but i think we need to stand up again and say we are not going to just sit back and take it anymore. granted it needs to be something better than burning our bras. mine aren't perky anymore and the look of it would hurt the cause.
but I'm not taking that kind of attitude anymore.
weather I'm a Republican a Democrat or whatever
I AM WOMEN AND JUST AS IMPORTANT AS ANY MAN
hi Ellen! it's been obvious that the media is not fair; just check out what happened to other candidates who deserve a chance to be heard like Dennis Kucinich & John Edwards..it was Dennis Kucinich who inspired me and like many other teens and other personalities such as Sean Penn, Viggo Mortensen, Melissa Etheridge, Willie Nelson, etc. For me, Dennis Kucinich was the best candidate out there and what media did to him was bring his campaign down. He's the only one who voted against the war in Iraq, the one who's campaigning for real change here and abroad; even Paula Abdul supports his plan of having a U.S. Department of Peace, which would address issues of violence like hate crimes here at home. I think the American people at this point of time is NOT yet READY for that BIG change. So, little change is enough for now with the momentum on Obama's campaign. Between the two remaining top-tier Democratic candidates, I would support Sen. Obama (nope, not because Oprah supports her) eventhough Mr. Obama offers little change & not much difference with Sen. Clinton, I feel his sincerity (not that Mrs. Clinton is insincere), Mr. Obama has that charm, sincerity which can inspire the people and the youth like me...
that's my two cents!
anyhow, love your jokes about the glitter issue! You're darn funny. Loving your pics with Portia! that's HOT (as Paris Hilton would say it)! ;) and that guy, hope he wins his Oscar next time... and darn lucky girls, a brand new GMC acadia! Love the 30 sec commercial..awesome show. lookin' forward to see you on tomorrow's show! take care
Ellen check out the below website and their blog
I must take exception to the previous writer's comments that Barack Obama has not told people what he is about or what his vision for our country is. His Plan for America is published in a 60-page booklet entitled "The Blueprint For Change". In it are his plans for every issue you want to know about: health care, economy, middle class preservation, taxation, immigration, Iraq, foreign policy, alternative energy sources, and much, much more. (You can also find his plans at www.barackobama.com). Obama has told of his plans in every debate and they have also been widely reported by the media. As a volunteer for Barack Obama, when I ask people what they like about Hillary, I hear two things: "She's a woman", or "I liked Bill". When I ask people what they like about Barack, they give me details about his plan on very specific issues. That is my measurement for whether people are voting for the candidate or the gender/race. Like many women, I have longed for the day when we would see a woman become president, but Hillary isn't the best candidate - Obama is!
Mahalo for having Hillary Clinton on your program. I actually went to her website and started making calls to voters in Texas. Because of your program and because Hillary Clinton mentioned her website, I was able to be a part of this election process instead of just
enjoying your show.
Aloha!
ELLEN I ALWAYS THOUGHT YOU WERE AN AWSOME HUMBAN BEING; NOW THAT YOU ARE SUPPORTING HILLARY I AM CONFIRMED....YOU ARE AWSOME....
THAT IS ONE OF THE BEST THINGS YOU COULD DO. I HAVE BEEN BLOGING SINCE SHE STARTED HER CAMPAIGN. I FEEL THE MEDIA IS TOTALLY BIAS BECAUSE SHE IS A WOMAN...
I FEEL THAT OBAMA HAS BEEN PUSHED BY THE DEMS
FROM THE BEGINNING...AND BY MEDIA; IF YOU LOOK ON THE WEBSITES, HOW MANY TIMES HIS PICTURE POPS UP
UNBELIEVEABLE...
IF HILLARY DOES NOT WIN THE DEM NOMINEE I WILL VOTE FOR MCCAIN, SO WILL MOST OF HILLARY SUPPORTERS IF SHE DOES NOT GET IT.
THANK YOU ELLEN FOR SUPPORTING HILLARY!!!! I was ALWAYS one of your biggest fans and today I respect you more than ever! I'm so happy to see a talk show host who knows that her audience is largely women and is actually encouraging a woman for president. We finally have a very experience, highly qualified woman seeking the nomination for presidency! She was in need of your support and you stepped up! The press has been not only unfair but at time obviously biased. If Hillary sounds tough she's labled cold and uncaring, if she's soft she too emotional. Sadly, women in any historically male oriented careers face the same biases, some prejudices are slow to change. Gender should certainly not be anyone's deciding factor when choosing the person for the most important job in the United States. I choose to support a canidate who is not afraid to define his or her self. I've only heard Barack tell us what he is not. Perhaps he is a chameleon, if his immediate audience whats him to be a woman he'll tell them that he isn't a man. He has never told us what he actually plans to do for the American people. Anyone could be "a fresh start" or a "change", I shudder at that thought! The job needs to be filled with someone who has no problem committing to beliefs, saluting our countries flag, singing our national anthem, or signing thier full name (including middle name). Barack, would you please stick out your neck and stand for something. You need be proud of who you are, what you believe in and for heaven's sake at least your country.
I admire both women, but they both have some serious emotional issues. I mean what is with all the crying from Ellen and Hillary is becoming the three faces of Eve. I would like to see a woman become President who I can be proud of one day. Hillary just is not the peoples choice this time.
Hillary is Right, It is Magic
Once upon a time, I would get angry hearing sound bites of Hillary making fun of the movement.  I think Sunday she even used the term fairy dust as a way to describe how we hoped to get things done.  I was angry, hurt, insulted and wanted to shout from the roof top how hard we are all working to change this country.  Then I realized, she believes she can change the world without us, the voter--how childish of her. Doesn't she realize a President without Congress on his or her side is just a lame duck? Does she know the democrats will need take the Senate and the House by 65% in order to have a mandate? Does she know that the only way to do that is not by winning just the National election for president, but the state elections for Congress and the Senate? Maybe she just wants to be president and hasn't considered what it will take to get things done?
We know what it takes to get things done, it takes a movement! It takes new voters and party faithful.  It takes winning the House and Senate, not just the Presidency.  We will deliver this country a great victory. We will do this not for Obama but for ourselves, that is truly magic.  It is magic that we know our power and how to use our votes and how to motivate others.  Yes, I believe in magic and we don't need fairy dust to accomplish this.   We just need to deliver a victory.
Can you, Mrs. Clinton, vote for all of us? Can you appoint men and women to the House and Senate? Can you even motivate people to vote in state elections? You need the House and Senate to give you a mandate. Our movement will do everything we can to give President Obama a mandate.  Voters may do everything they can to make sure you, Senator Hillary Clinton, are not given the power of a mandate.  We need to win seats not lose them.
So we the people are now writing an American Fairy Tale and we shall live happily ever after. We are prepared to work hard.  We are prepared to put pressure on all elected officials to do the voters bidding.  That is how you get health care.  That is how you end a war.  That is how you change the tax codes.  Dealing behind closed doors doesn't cut it, you must do it with us and our support.  You can't rule America, but you can motivate her. To bad you didn't realize that sooner.
