You certainly deserve a round of applause for your post and more specifically, your blog in general. Very high quality material
Nice bog you have here. I pretty much lurk the internet when I'm bored and read all I can about the organic lifestyle, but I really liked you view on things. I'll bookmark the site and subscribe to the feed!

Ellen you are amazing....Some people truly deserve your help. What you did for Josiah was a beautiful thing to watch. You have changed his life forever. He didn't ask for any handouts from you nor do I believe he expected one, but he truly deserved the opportunity you have given him. Many of us are in need, but few of us are deserving.
ELLEN, I'm writing to ask why you have never responded to any of my emails. I see you do things all the time to make other people happy, and I do feel uplifted by your show everyday I watch it, but to tell you the truth, I poured my heart out to you with a story that is very sensitive and personal about myself, and you never called me. PLEASE LOOK AT MY EMAILS IF YOU CAN (oh yeah, I really need a television, if you have one laying around somewhere. LYLAS!!!

I just have to say that SparkPeople is an amazing site for people trying to obtain a healthier lifestyle. No matter if you're trying to lose weight, maintain, gain or just tone up. It's an amazing tool and a great place to find and give support!
Thank you for featuring three amazing women that were able to achieve goals that so many strive for!
October 15, 2005 I went vegetarian...I was 289+ lbs., I had no health insurance and figured fixing my health issues with food first would be my key to success.
Giving up meat and eating healthier foods helped me lose 20 lbs.
October 14, 2006, I joined Weight Watchers and officially quit smoking. Throughout 2006, I was still a casual "bum one from a friend" smoker and this time I couldn't live my life as a hypocrite; by claiming this new healthy lifestyle I needed to truly live it and show an example to myself and to those around me.
As of today, I have lost over 50 lbs. following the Weight Watchers Plan and I continue to exercise and will do so for the rest of my life. I WILL GET MY Lifetime Award and I plan on sharing my story to everyone!
Whatever works for you, do it! Lets beat the obesity epidemic...LOSE THE WEIGHT! You ARE worth it!
