I watched your show this afternoon. I was down with a cold too but luckily I left work early. I was looking forward to your 4pm time slot. I was very disappointed with the segment on kids inventions. My father was hearing impaired my whole life. He was the president of the national hearing impaired organization for North Jersey. In his time it was called SHHH. It appeared to me that you lack understanding about hearing impaired people. The young lady with the vibrating disc for inside the pillow has a winner. Hearing impaired people only need a slight nudge to awaken them. They would react to the vibration very successfully. You seemed very dismissive of her. That was not the reaction I would have expected from you. She deserved as much respect as the other two inventors.
Ellen I'm watching your showw today and I feel sorry that you can't call sick. Boy I hope you feel better soon..I guess it's about time to think some replacement when get sick... But WHUTTTT, fEBRUARY you got,, How about "MAMA" she will be a nice and great one to help you out..Well I wish you a good day and thank you for bringing the best time on telivision again..
I think money can buy happiness in certain circumstances (helping homeless families, save and house homeless animals and I feel it would have saved my sister's life)
My sister was diagnosed with cervical cancer in November 2007. She had no health insurance and had to receive treatment from a county hospital. She died at home on June 9, 2007 with our family at her side. I wonder daily if we could have gotton her top notch medical treatments could we have saved her? We did not have the money. Due to the kindness of strangers we were able to bury her - she left behind 10 children.
Hey Ellen!
I've been watching you since your tv series. I was sorry to see it go off the air and I'm glad you are back. I did not know you were 3 years younger than me! You look great and I'm a sneaker kind of gal also. I've been married 4 years now and my husband has never seen me in a dress and never will (they're just un natural!)
I think it is great all that you do for the people - everyone tries to copy that for ratings but you do it for the right reasons!
P.S: I started playing some of your games on your web - do you know if anyone got more than 201,200 on jackpot slots?

Dear Ellen--Money can buy "things"-food-cars-clothes- & etc. But I have been married for 49 years and I can tell you, it can't buy LOVE. It can't buy the PEACE of family, & friends. I would love to be rich, but I feel thta I am rich in so many ways abd if I were rich, I would spread it around. God Bless Love Pat West--Love your show, it is one of the highlights of our day.
if no one would marry a millionare, how would they get married? if i was a millionare i would be scared to get involved with anyone, thinking that they were just after the money. :p
I just know too many people who have money and who have everything and it doesn't replace anything I have with my family. I don't have any money but what I see with my friends who do they aren't very happy with their lives. If I did get money at any point in my life I would definately not let it define me as a person just like Ellen. She would be loved no matter if she had money or not because she is just a loveable person. It is great getting to watch daily now since I recently got a DVR.
Keep up the smiles
Ellen, You are awesome.... you brighten so many lives with your light. If you ever want to get away from all the people and noise, come up to South East Alaska, an island called Prince of Wales Island. We have so much beauty to see; scenery, mamals, and animals. I live in Kasaan which is one of only two Haida Villages in Alaska. We have a beautiful Long house and an awe inspiring totem pole park right along the beach front. It truly is the "Last Frontier". I've lived here since 1978 and could never imagine living anywhere else, even if it takes about an hour drive on a logging road to the nearest store... that's right, I said store. We do not have any stores in our community. The city sells gas, diesel and propane and that's about it.... oh excuse me, the city has a snack vending machine and pop machine.
We just raised our first totem pole since the early 40s... that was in September, 2007. Oh... did I tell you, our population is about 55. My son is the Mayor, for 11 years, since he was 20, and he's also our tribal president for 10 years. He's 31. Anyhow... even in the Alaska Bush, your show is seen and loved....
Thank You.
Hi Ellen,
I email you a lot and you never responed. It seems when I enter to be on your show or one of your contest I always have to send you a picture. Well I don't know how to do that. I try, but I don't think your getting my enters. Or maybe your not getting my emails at all. If you do get my emails or enters how do I know you really get them. Do you pay someone to hit the delete button anytime they see my name come up? I know you wouldn't do that. Email me back or call me so I know I'm coming threw
Kathy
we have got married and haven't gone on our honey moon yet. we haven't got the money to go on it.
I HOPE YOU CAN HELP US ELLEN
Hi Ellen:
Yes, it is true you have it all money, beauty, a fantastic show and wonderful home life. You are one in a million actually.
Of course money without humanity isn't worth much but you put us all to shame with your kindness, generosity and joie de vivre. That is why we all watch you. You make us proud to be Americans.
Thank you.
i love youre tv show and you, i can feel youre love of making people happy. you change so many lives. never stop,i get goose bumps watching the people you help or surprise,
Hey Ellen,
These questions aren't exactly fair. Look at you, you're both rich and beautiful:-)
I doubt anyone can "buy" love, either for a penny or a million bucks, much as there truly is "no romance without finance" :-)
Would I marry someone just cause they were a millionaire, hhmmm, lemme think....? Already did!!
Just kidding, not in the literal sense, but I sure got my one-in-a-million girl, and that's more than I can ever ask for.
Love to Ellen(E)

Well Ellen, I wish I was rich and beautiful, but since God had other plans with me...I have a sweet "Portia" myself, and am happy being poor and ungly, but funny and soooo in love :)
So thank you God for not messing with my brains, making me rich and beautiful

Hey,
Maybe Ellen wasnt that impressed, because it´s already invented. I have a familymember, who have used a vibrating clock under the pillow for at least 20 years!
Ellen, im a very big fan of yours. Probably you dont read all these tags from people, but you are the most amazing person i´ve ever seen. I am a lesbian girl, and I wish that I could have a relationship like yours and Portia :-) But you´re both already taken. :-) (smile)
