Colton said that Simon came to him and said it wasn't a contest between he and Kyle. It was just that he wanted to keep Kyle and they didn't. They had all decided that Colton would be chosen and had called him in the middle of all the people. But then,they told him to go back. For tv popularity, they made that scene at the end. That automatically looked like Kyle had been chosen over Colton. What a disservice to Colton. He had nothing to do with that. He and Kyle were good friends. Colton and a couple of the others didn't get any before voting airtime which is so unfair. Only the sob stories get aired because I realize it sells tv. Please realize that it was all for tv and don't be against Colton. Colton absolutely loves Ellen and looks like her, too! He would love to be on Ellen someday.

Kyle is a sweetheart BUT, going on Idol was but one of his privalages. Did you hear him talk about the internship he got, it will pay for the rest of his undergrad, and graduate school!!! his passion is politics, that is where his heart is. That is why he got the scholarship not the trip to Hollywood!!

Ellen, you picked my two favorites who didn't make the cut but obviously should have. Kyle and Josiah have more talent than half of the guys who made it. I especially liked how humble they both were. I predict a wonderful future for both of them.

Kyle is a great guy with great morals. I was so happy to see him on ELLEN today. He sang great and I am so happy that he hasn't given up and is still out there singing. I believe that someday soon, we will all here his wonderful voice on the radio everywhere. We love you Kyle and keep persuing your dreams.

Kyle was a state FCCLA officer with one of my students. He was always entertaining and very talented. The first time he met us he told us he planned to some day be governor of OK--a goal he definitely still plans to pursue. A singing governor will be great! Way to go Kyle!

I have not had a chance to watch any of AI this season, this performance today touched me. Kyle has a lovely voice and I could see why Simon liked him. I wish him the best, though anyone watching todays performance he should have some interest with a music producer.

THEY SHOULD CALL KYLE BACK TO THE SHOW!!! I would love to see more of his wonderful singing talent. He seems to have so much heart and a beautiful voice.

Kyle is one of the best.....he reminded me so much of Buddy Holly....Simon was soooo right Kyle should have gone on to the top 24....I even think he would have been in the Top 12.....I'm happy for Kyle i think he will make a great politician and working the country will benefit us all...GOOD LUCK KYLE WITH YOUR FUTURE YOU DESERVE IT............

I was most disappointed when Josiah didn't make it, and second most disappointed when Kyle didn't make it. I was so happy to see him today on Ellen, I love that he is being styled now and we get to see him looking his age instead of dressing like a 43-year old soccer dad!
