Ellen,

My name is Carol and I'm from Massachusetts, originally from RI. I would just like to say that from the moment I saw Kyle audition on American Idol he had STAR QUALITY. Not just his BEAUTIFUL voice, but he had the entire package. He was intellegent, had a great personality and was very mature on how handled himself throughout the competition. I totally agreed with Simon that if Kyle were to make it through, he would have sailed into the top 10. There was something about him that people liked..he was genuine. I wish him all the success in being a politician..he will go far in life. I would LOVE to see him try out again next year.

Thank you Ellen for inviting him on your show. I watch your show when I can and you always make me smile! :)

Hey Ellen, are you going to have Colton Berry on your show? I really would love to see you two together. He looks so much like you, especially when he wore that striped shirt. Let me know when/if he will be on.

Josiah era un talento en bruto y lo dejaron ir. Han visitado su pagina en myspace? tiene un par de canciones muy buenas. Incluso tiene esa "inestabilidad" emocional de los grandes artistas. Kyle tenia un carisma impresionante, Randy y Paula lo estropearon todo. ¿Por que no dejaron que escucharamos al granjero Drew? si hubiera cantado mal, no se hubiese colado entre los mejores 50. Tambien pienso que Cardin era una mejor eleccion que la gordita Borgella. Saludos!!!

Simon is usually right. Paula and Randy just don't get it!!!! Kyle may not be the strongest singer there but his personality is bigger than all those contestants put together!. There is something very fresh and innocent about him although he is 22 yrs. Yeah it would of been great to see what he had to offer the show. Well is our loss !.

I dont like him he is to weeee and ahhh and just a bad singer. now josiah on the other hand...
He sang u raise me up... that was way to safe and anyone who sings a josh groban song should go right away.

Sometimes I don't think the celebs understand what real people think is HOT. An amazing singer who doesn't think he's God's greatest gift to women, ironically can be. Kyle should be in the top 24. It doesn't take that much imagination to look past the mildly nerdy characteristics and see that with a little wardrobe and image coaching he could have stole the show.

Kyle Ensley is a true gentleman. As a retired speech coach from Oklahoma I had the opportunity to judge him at speech contests. He was a phenom then--multiple state championships--and he is a phenom now. American Idol may have done him a huge favor. Kyle combines talent with wholesomeness and wit. If I'm still living when Kyle runs for Governor of Oklahoma, I'll vote for him! With Kyle on the show American Idol might have attracted a wider range of viewers. We old folks like him. The kids like him. American would have loved him!

Hello. My name is Krista and I was with Kyle in Hollywood. We met in Dallas where we both originally tried out. On the way to Hollywood, Kyle and I became more acquainted and I was really impressed with him as a person. The way Simon ended up rooting for him, is the way it really is with Kyle. I know things happen for a reason, but I definitely think he deserved to make it to the top 24. I think the show really needed him! I was disappointed but VERY proud of Kyle, none-the-less. He did great and he is a genuinely good person. Kyle, you're awesome!

I was very dissapointed when Kyle didn't make it onto the show. My daughter called to tell me to make sure and tape the show the day he was going to be on because he is in her spanish class at OSU...I thought "Whuttt the February!". She didn't know I'd been following him on the show and I sure didn't know he was in her spanish class.

She's going to tell him for me but incase she forgets and he gets to see this....Kyle, for once Simon was really right. You should have made it on the show!!!

Oh, a little p.s. Garth went to OSU.

Kyle's performance on Ellen was much better than his American Idol performances. Everything from his wardrobe to the song choice. Without his glasses, he's such a good looking young man. Face it...looks matter in the entertainment world. Nerdy wasn't the way to go. Hope he tries again next year with the same performance he gave us on Ellen.

I loved Kyle and Josiah.They were two of my favorites.I believe in my heart of hearts that these two young men will go along way with their singing career's or whatever they decide to do with their lives.Although their is a bunch of good talent this year on A.I. these two were the best.Very nice,sincere,honest young men.Thanks Ellen for helping Josiah.I love you and your show.You are a bright spot in my life.

It's not Colton vs Kyle. Colton has been chosen earlier, and Kyle was called together with Colton just for the dramatic ending. Very unlucky of Colton. Btw I hear they are best friends during the show.

Kyle has a great voice & I thought he should have been in the top 24, also. He will do great no matter what he does.
To Phyllis, "You Raise Me Up" was first recorded by a Christian group called Selah long before Josh Groban recorded it. But I do love that song.

First thank you for helping Josiah I cant wait to hear his new music, but on the other hand I do think that kyle should have had a chance. He was a much better singer than Colton and the people seemed to like him more as well.I think that if kyle had made the show he would have made it past the first cut unlike his competition did.

This was the first season I watched American Idol and I was blown away by Kyle's performance... he was amazing! I was so mad when I saw that Colton was choosen instead of him; what were they thinking?!?!?! Best of luck Kyle!
