Hey Ellen,
I see all these people who come up with really simple, awesome ideas and are getting totally rich off of them... I have great ideas too, but how do they do it!!! They say they started with no money, all the patents, advertizing and all that other stuff is soooo expensive. How is an average person like myself with really great ideas supposed to make something with nothing...I want to be those people that Joan asks, "how'd you get so rich"!!!! LOL Need some advice Ellen!!! Thanks

I think your show is one of the best ive seen in a long time, and i would love to prove it! if you could put me on your next show of great inventions i would really appreciate it alot. thanks for your time and all the support you might give me.

Hi Ellen,
My name is Madison Howard and I live in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia and I think I have a really cool invention. I would love to be on the next show with cool inventions. I hope you write me back soon.

Dear Ellen,
My friend Zach and I just won a gold medal for our "Doughnut Greeting Box" invention. Everyone loved the idea and asked if we were taking orders! The Doughnut Greeting Box is a special decorated doughnut box for any occassion which plays special music when the box is opened to match to occasion. We really really think that people would buy this and would love the opportunity to show this to the world! Thanks.

Dear Ellen,

I would like to put my invention on the show because I already won a award with it but I want to show my invention to the world and hope someone can support my invention with a donation so I can get it patented. I have talked to so many people and most of them said " you should get the idea patented". But i am only nine and i dont have enouf money to get it patented. My idea is a under ground sprinkler but i don't even have enouf money to get a working model. That is why I want to show the world my invention.

Sincerlly,
Justin Weiner

Dear Ellen,

First I’d like to say that my partner and I love your show! In particular, we really like the invention segment you do from time to time.

It sounds like we’re not alone with “bright ideas” as I read what people are writing on this message board. And our idea is literally a bright one!

Anyway, I know you have hundreds if not thousands of messages and emails to read and it’s not possible for you to write back to each and every one. I’m not saying don’t write us back, because we’d love to hear from you! But I suppose I’d like to see what others with ideas / inventions are doing in order to make their product available on a global level?

So, if anyone can share anything with us to point us in the right direction, we’d be very thankful.

Sincerely,
Michael and Nick

Hi Ellen I have a great invention for dogs or cats I think you would be interested in.Just dont know what to do to get it going. If you could help me out that would be great.
Thanks
Scott

I saw your episode about the "Goole invention" and I was wondering how, and who do I send my idea to. I don't want to say my idea online, because I am afraid someone might take it. But generally my idea is based on improving the battery powered scooter for the elderly. I have seen how much trouble my grandfather has with his (and it has nothing to do with the motor or anything else related to that. This helps them and makes it more accessable without pain for them. It's eaiser on there muscels, lower, and upper body), and I know of a way that it will work, still be convenient, and affordable for people to have. I know you are busy but I would greatly appreciate it if you could help me and the elderly out.
Thank you,
Lyz

Hi Ellen. I went to Pier 1 with my mom and got a "Chinese yo yo" from the cool items they have at the Cash Register desk. It is a paper rolled up and you swing it around like a yo yo. I had a Idea of putting it on a writing pen. I need your help on it.

I love your show. Really fun to watch!

Sincerely, Jonathan

Dear Ellen,
My name is Maggie Hare and I am 13 years old, and i have an invention that would help a bedroom be cleaner! It's called a pajama pillow. Sometimes the most amazing inventions are those that are simple, easy to use and help people get organized. I like a clean room and this has helped keep my room clean. Please, please, if you have another show about kids and their inventions, I would love to be on to show you how this works.

Thank you
Maggie Hare

Hello Ellen,
Due to all the wild fires in recent years, my two friends and I have invented a fire-protection system. We haven't had much luck getting it out to public so we're wondering if you would help us get it out to the public. The reason why we haven't had luck getting it out to the public is because the company has limited resources in their data base. We have the prototype.
You have a very entertaining show.

-Talk to you soon

P.S Please reply

Hello Ellen, I have something your mother would love. Well I guess its only fair to say everyone except----Hay it just dawned on me there is no except when it comes to my new invention. EVERYONE would love to have one. I'm not kidding.
You might be asking yourself, (Self why is Carol writing to me?) I have been all over my computer looking for a place that will look at my idea and say "hay this is awesome, let us help you launch this baby" They say they are the best, then they start warning you of scams, and people out there ready to steal your idea. They got me so crazy I find myself doughting everyone. Ellen I have made a pattern thats easy to follow. I took pictures step by stey. It can be made in less then 20 min. on a sewing machine. It can be used anywhere, anytime, by anyone. I need input on the best and fastest way to go.
Can I send you one? Is it safe? Can you direct me? Help!
Love ya everyday. Carol
