Do you need help on the show? I would like to come to work for you? Please read my previous post? Thanks.

Hi Ellen, I don't know about your vehicle giveaway. Honestly I haven't even had tv for awhile. I love you. I think you are one of the most refreshing people out there. Watching you reminds me how much fun life can be. Just by being comfortable in your own skin. I am not sure why am writing or if I am even asking for anything. I guess I just wanted to talk and complain and tell someone about all the things I need. You have a good heart so I thought it would be ok to let it all out. I am a 32 year old disabled woman stuck way out in the woods, with a man that is very horrible to me. Not phyisically, but mentaly he has completley beat me down. Being way out here, not having my own car, and not having the money to pick up and move I feel like a hostage. I no longer have friends, family, and I really don't even get to feel like a mother to my daughter. I feel like she's his daughter and I am the babysitter. Even though he does nothing for her. He orders me to do things for her. I have lost all respect for myself, I don't feel like a woman, I am just lost, and need a new direction and a new start. I guess a need a car and an apartment in a city that has doctors that are familiar with Chiari Malformation, Syringomyelia, Tethered Chord Syndrome, Chronic Pain. Most of all someone to come get my daughter and I. Luckily, I am not married to this man. Thanks for listening to me. Keep dancing and making the world laugh. That's what life should be about.

All I would like to know is how can I get your ATTENTION? I have been writting you about my Granddaughter who is home on life support, she is 4 years old and just love your show, she is doing things that we thought she would never do she love to dance with you,she has a untermine muscle disorder and doesn't move as a child her age should,I also have been on the internet for months trying to find help for her and nothing, and the one person I just knew would help I can't get in touch with,PLEASE would you could you PLEASE get intouch with us we are in need of help.
Much Love
Janet Scott

Ellen, I think of you a lot as I go thru daily life 'alone' - I make jokes within me everyday - thinking "oh, Ellen, would love this..."

I don't have a video recorder, nor a phone cam ~ so I don't send to you!! (duh)

There's nothing special about me, I have had a huge dysfunctional family, 2006, death started... I am still going "hmm"... yes, "they" have dropped like flies...

I am on full disability, no vehicle, I starve a lot, but others are certainly worse off than me!!

It seems there is an organization here in Austin, that is going to help me get new teeth - teeth are a hard thing to go and get!!! Yea! I just found this out 3 minutes ago!!!

The horrible toxins in your body and suffering, it should be paid for by medicaid when you are on disability like me.

Sorry - your a wonderful new front for television - I am writing to you from a very gay friendly Austin, Texas ~ I have certainly never been to Hawaii, I do have 4 sarongs ~~ yep!

I don't even know who I would take!!!
But I would love to see it - yep, it's on the "bucket list"!

Onward,

Dixie Boyd

Hi Ellen, my name is Sabine, I was born and raised in Germany. I moved to Detroit MI. to have a better life. Boy was I wrong. I lost everything, my house, car, marriage after I came here. I an doing a little better. I bought my first house 2 years ago and I almost lost it to foreclosure. Last year my minivan was stolen and strip completly. I have three great kids, 2 boys, 14 and 4, and a little girl with 15 month. I raise the kids on my own with help from my mom. I only had money to buy a small car, which my kids and carseats barely fit into the back. My passengerseat is held up by boards, so my mother won't fall through. I don't have a job for almost 3 years now, it is hard to find one in Michigan. To make this short, I really could use a bigger car, (with floors, lol), for my little family. Thanks for just reading this. My family loves your show, and whenever you dance, so does my little girl. Thanks for bringing just a little fun in our lives each day.

Hi Ellen.
i'm one of those unusual 14 year olds that like watching talk shows, but not only is your show fun to watch, your give aways are amazing. When i saw that there was a chance to win a new car, i thought of my mom. She car pools everyday, maybe even every second of the day. Lately we've had to climb through the front door just to get to the back, now that's embarrassing. My mom drives a 1994 Plymouth Voyager that basically is getting to its last mile and with 116,000 miles somehow the car is still drivable. The car has a radio that only works with a pencil shoved into the cassette, the door has fallen off many times, almost too many. The slider door only closes when the passenger door is open or just seems like whenever the door feels like closing. Both glove boxes are broken and the passenger which is usually me, gets hit in the back of the legs at a sudden stop. My sister is 2 and half hours away at college which with my mom's car, she is afraid of trying to get up there not knowing if the car would break down or such. My dad recently has had a heart attack and i know they have had financial problems. Between my sister being at college, our house and everything else i know my mom could really use a new car. My mom is someone i can really depend on and is one woman that has always been there for me so in return i would really appreciate if she had gotten a new car because i know at this point, theres no way of affording a new car. Thanks for your time and ill be up to watch your show tomorrow morning.

sincerely, Lauren.

Dear Ellen,
Before I give you a reason for donating a car, I just want to thank you for making my family laugh. We Ti-Vo your show and watch you every night. Unfortunately, what I am going to write about will make you sad but will also make you happy if you can help someone in need. I am writing to you about my neice Kristin Molini who has been in and out of hospitals since she is 15 years old. She has been living off of feeding tubes, and now is on a donor list for several organs. She was diagnosed with Gastroparesis, a fatal disease which basically left her organs paralyized. Her family has to travel from Brooklyn to Pittsburgh for treatments and checkups, and each time they go they have to rent a car because the car they have is old and unreliable. A fund was started for her to help her parents pay for medical expenses and other expenses that they need. The name of the fund is The Molini Family CPO Fund; 2354 East 4th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11223. For more information about her you can Google her name Kristin Molini. We know there are many people out there that are deserving and if we do not win the car we understand and still be big fans. Thank you Ellen, can't wait to watch your show tonight with Christina Agularia!

HI ELLEN,MY NAME IS EMILY. I WANT TO TELL YOU ABOUT MY FAMILY,AND WHY WE COULD REALLY USE A NEW CAR. MY HUSBAND IS A VERY HARD WORKING MAN WHO WOULD DO ANYTHING FOR OUR DAUGHTERS AND I. HE IS A UNITED STATES MARINE WHO SERVED IN IRAQ IN ONE OF THE MOST DANGEROUS TIMES DURING OPERATION ENDOURING FREEDOM. HE WATCHED AS HIS BEST FRIEND WAS SENT HOME IN A COFFIN. HE CAME HOME TO US A DIFFERENT MAN. HE HAS MADE A HUGE SACRIFICE FOR OUR COUNTRY, FOR YOU AND ME AND THOSE WHO WE LOVE. SINCE HIS DEPLOYMENT, HIS FORMER EMPLOYER HAD DOWNSIZED AND NO LONGER HAD A POSITION FOR MY HUSBAND. HE WAS WITHOUT WORK FOR SIX MONTHS. DURING THAT TIME I WORKED SO WE COULD KEEP OUR HOME. BUT WE FELL BEHIND ON OTHER BILLS AND EVERYDAY EXPENCES BECAME VERY HARD TO MANAGE. ITS BEEN TWO YEARS NOW AND HE HAS WORKED SO HARD. HE HAS A GOOD JOB NOW AND WE THOUGHT THAT WE WERE GOING TO BE OK. HOWEVER JUST LAST WEEK THE 1996 MINIVAN THAT I WAS LUCKY ENOUGH TO OWN BROKE DOWN. MY HUSBAND WORKED HARD TO GET ME THAT VAN AND I LOVE IT. SO, NOW WE ARE IN A BIND. WE ONLY HAVE ENOUGH MONEY TO PAY OUR BILLS AND PUT FOOD ON THE TABLE. I WAS SO EXCITED TO HEAR THAT YOU WERE GIVING AWAY A VAN. IT WOULD BE A DREAM COME TRUE. BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY IT WOULD RESTORE MY HUSBANDS FAITH IN THE PEOPLE THAT HE WORKED SO HARD TO DEFEND. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR TIME AND YOUR LOVE. EMILY

The last year and 1/2 has been filled with ups and downs. I lost my father Jan of 2007 to cancer, it was very hard traveling the 6 months to go see him due to financial problems and a trouble car that left me stranded a few times. In May I finally broke down and bought a new car (making costly payments) and gave my near 200000 mile focus to my then fiance. In October I married and in December I started having problems in my back and right arm. My husband drives 60 miles a day to go to work in the breaking down focus and we cannot afford a new one for him; since we are still making payments on my car along with all the medical bills. Lastly, my car and my husbands are both manuals and I drive a lot (I am a minister and alone last year I put well over 25,000 miles on my car)... I have lots of problems shifting with my right arm which I will be having surgery on soon. We are very scared about how we are going to continue on this way and a new car/ automatic will help us tons. Living in western Kansas working cars is are must. And it would be wonderful for me to do something nice for my husband who has given up everything for m.
Blessings, April
PS. I love your show and look forward to the pick-me-up every day.

Dear Ellen,
My name is Kevin and I am 14 years old. I heard that you were having a car givaway, and I think that my mom really deserves to get something good in her life. She is a single mother and has two sons. all she does is care for me and my brother 24/7. she is the nicest person I know. She would give everything she has to make that her frends and family are all happy and safe. Right now my mom is driving around in a 1992 Buick LeSabre. When she omes down the road, if you didnt know her you would probably think it is an old ladey (not because of her looks, because of the car. She is a very beautiful woman.) I know that many other people will want this car, but I do think that my mom really deserves it.

My name is Rena Taylor i have a 2005 mabilbu. I lost my father this march 8, 2008. When i first got my car. I put on 10,000 miles.Because my father was sick and i had to take my grandmother who raise me to see him. I would travel from Valliant, Oklahoma to Tyler, alot. I go from Oklahoma City to Valliant, Oklahoma to see about there business. Now that my father has pass away i want to go see my grandmother alot more. I have decide to moved there i would really could use that car. That you are giving away.

Hi Ellen I have no idea where to enter the van giveaway but I'll try this site. I'm 62 years old and a retired P.E. teacher who still coaches a girls softball team. During the summer I carry all the equipment for games in the back of my van. However, the dash of my van is lit up brighter than the airport runway. It has a check engine light on, an ABS light on, and a brake light on. It also has mystry light in the interior, they just come on whenever they want and the passenger doors only onlock when they want too. The team would greatly appreciate a new van.

Heyy Ellen! I love your show, I get a kick out of it everytime I watch it! This would be my very first time on your site, and I must say, it's great. Well, I just recently heard about the car giveaway and I was like "Wow..I bet it'd be nice for my mom to get a new car." My mom is a great person, and she drives what I call, "The Crap Mobile" (1888 Volvo) it's all rusted and it's about time she needs a new, more better car. My mom drives The Crap Mobile to work every single day, and it's horrible. She really needs a new car. She drives our aunts around all the time to go grocery shopping, and they are very old - just like the car. The people at my moms work think that she dances like you, which I find that funny. I always say "No one can dance better than Ellen Degeneres!". But, my mom was best dancer in class of 1974. But, still, Ellen "pwns" everyone else at dancing. Well, I gotta go, cause I have to finish watching the show. Even if my mom doesn't get a new car, you'll always be my favorite dancer, as well as my mom.

Hello Ellen!! I love your show! It takes alot or me to laugh but you manage to do it everytime. My nephew came running upstairs today telling me about the car giveaway. He was so excited. We would love for my mom to win this car. She is a wonderful mother and grandmother. Right now my mom is driving a beat up van with a broken window and door handle. My mom Carmen is a widow and can't afford a new car due to the fact that between the two of us we are raising my 7 nieces and nephews between the ages of 3-11. Imagine driving them to 3 different schools everyday. The kids are getting bigger but of course the van is not. My mom is on an extremly fixed budget. My mom can't work due to having a child with special needs. Due to her special needs she has a lot of appointments. My mom is deserving of this van. She fights so hard just to get her granddaughter the services she needs. She also travels down south every year just for the kids to get a break. Driving for about 18 hours straight with no help. The van now is falling apart and soon won't be able to make those trips. I love my mom so much she means the world to me and I know that winning this giveaway would mean a lot to her and the kids.

Hi Ellen!!! Love the show, you got all the moves.
So.. I would love to win that beautiful car...I am a 25 yr old mother of 1. I recently got laid off frmm my Project Manager job of 4 1/2 yrs. The company was bought out and now Im assed out. My daughter is 5 and is in Kindergarten. I walk to and from school everyday. When she needs to go the the doctor I ask my Mother to travel the hour from her house to mine, and then the 20 minutes to the doctors office. If it were not for my very generous Mother, I dont know what I would do. Taxi's get expensive, the city bus doesnt go everywhere, and I am in dyer need of a car!! Please consider me.

A Mom in need...

Hello Ellen my name is Brandy. I love your show and try to watch everyday. I need the car because i resigned from my job in october to go back to school and made this decision due to my husband encouraging me to. This story is hard to share because of the pain i still feel in my heart but here goes....I came home from school the evening of my birthday which was Jan. 18th and out of the blue my husband ask me for a divorce and moved out (happy birthday to me). He cut off all communication from that day on we have only communicated through attorney's. So there you go this is my story since then i have completed schooling but still unemployed. I have 2 children and need a new car. Im not looking for charity just the chance for something maybe to go right for me possible be the winner of the car.

Hi Ellen, I love your show. I watch every chance I get (when I don't have to watch cartoons). I would like you to pick me for a new car. I don't have a sad story and I might not need it as much as others, but I do need a car. I lost my job last Jan. while I was pregnant. I worked from home which helped me because I didn't have to put my 4 year old (now 5) in daycare. Now I have two kids and no job. I need a job and I feel really discouraged about getting one because then I will have to put two kids in daycare and it would take all of my money to pay for the daycare fees every month. I don't really know how they expect people to live and put their kids in daycare and be able to afford it. Anyways, my car is on its last legs. I have no air and no heat. I have no money to fix it and I have no money to buy another one. Please pick me. Thanks Robin

Heyyy girl!
Boy oh boy...do you look hot!!! Im totally loving you with this hair ellen, the short blonde look definately suits you. I always think you look beautiful, and the little flick on the side is cute too (if kept short) but the straight hair mmm is my fav! Love you.

Hi Ellen,

I have been working on your website to see where you apply to will your new car giveaway. I thing I finally figured it out. I enjoy your program. You are the real deal host for a tv show. You bring people with diverse backgrounds to you show and let people know there is a chance in thier life time to suceed. There isn't any thing they can't do.

Exposing new guests with so much talent. I applaud you. Keep up the good work.

Respectfully,

Rose Mary Kurpiewski

So, I need to comment about not being extremely grateful and excited for hitting the lottery, winning a trip to Hawaii, getting Ellen tickets, etc. My twin, Jennifer Neal, previous commentor, and I worked at a Bingo hall and it was so frustrating when a Bingo was called and the winner was like, so where's my money. I would of jumped on the table and yelled and then bought everyone a drink or a candybar! Needless to say, I along with Jennifer would be grateful and EXCITED to receive tickets to the Ellen show. Hang in there Ellen and stay healthy. Thanks for giving us laughter and excitement everytime we watch your show. Love you!
