Is there any news on what kind of wood floor is in Ellen's studio? I see a bunch of posts but no answers. If anyone got a reply could you please let the rest of us know. Thank you so much!!

The floors really look like the ones my mother-in-law has in her living/dining room. The manufacturer is BR-111 and the color is macchiato pecan. Google it because it looks very similar!

Hey everyone. After waiting and waiting to hear about Ellen's stage floor, I finally contacted Warner Brothers today. And the answer is: Bamboo!!!! It comes in many different colors and lengths and widths. You need to figure it out yourself. Can't wait to do our Family Room the same way! Hope this helps everyone.

You should also check out the Brazilian Walnut. You could just use this type of wood and buy a super light wood, like birch to mix in. The Brazilian Walnut is full of several different colors. It is very beautiful! Google it. They have great prices on ifloors.com.

I am working on doing these floors in my home now. We just picked one company & chose 6 different colors that all are the same size, they are all the larger plank & all non- hand scraped. There is a very light (birch), a very dark espresso color (ours is dutch chocolate maple) and then 4 in between colors to mix it up (cherries and mahoganys. They are the engineered hardwood floors. I have found that they make you buy whole boxes of each color so this could be expensive if your doing a small space. Your installers have to be creative with the design to achieve this look. We will be present for the install to make sure this happens. I brought my laptop to the floor place & showed him pictures from Ellen's website of her floors. Good luck!

HELP!

Honestly, I have been searching for MONTHS for this flooring. I see posts that lead you to a flooring company - sales@ something I contacted them they are NOT the supplier, I see posts that say Tigerwood, struck out there! Is there anyone out there - Ellen if you are reading this can you PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let us know the manufacturer of the flooring on your set (and any product numbers etc) that would help us copy cat your flooring in out homes? This way we can enjoy them every day and think of you!

I would like to know if the flooring used in the show is engineered? Laminate, or solid hardwood?
I love it, I realize it is a type of tigerwood...is it bamboo or hardwood?

PEOPLE- you can get this look with any prefinished floor that has multiple color options as long as you make sure the tongue and grooves are compatible. Also that they are the same width. Most brands offer this. Find a brand you like and get someone to install it. Not that hard to figure out. I don't work for The Ellen Show but saw a need for everyone out there who kept asking as if you had nothing better to do. Any flooring store should have been able to answer this. If not I would'nt use that company.

I think the wood flooring on your shoe is classy and beautiful. I would like to know what kind it is and any other information about the flooring if its not too much trouble. It is really beautiful. Also your show is great.....sooo funny. I watch it every day.
