Hi Ellen,
I celebrated my 40th Bday in the audience of your show last week. You were super sick but still funny as heck. While I was waiting in line I met a lot of people who I normally don't come into contact with, mainly stay-at-home moms. What really struck me was that they all said that their little kids just love you and your show. They said that the kids get up and dance with you and that they were sad when you were sad about your dog. These kids are gonna be voting age in a few years. Because of you, this generation is going to feel positive about gays and lesbians and I know that they will be fine with us living next to them and working beside them. They will value our contributions to society and will not discriminate against us. You are a true pioneer Ellen. You are doing for gays and lesbians what Bill Cosby did for African Americans in the 1970s-bringing us into the mainstream and showing a positive example.
I grew up in an upper middle class household. When I came out in college, my dad said that I could kiss my hopes and aspirations goodbye, that society would never embrace me and I would always be a discriminated minority. Thank you for proving him wrong.
well Ellen that was really fascinating i wish i could do that as well drive a piece of machinery like you did. That looked like a whole lot of fun. was that the house that was acrossed from your new house? Just wondering? Love your show and I am a great big fan of yours.
your fan

Both the class of 1976 and both of us lesbian. You of course are the star of all of us. I myself am a small town gal trying to figure out where all the other lesbians are! I used to be a college President of a Gay Lib group and also very out with my life. Now it seems no one cares about us "little" folks. I wish my partner and I could come and see you before my health and hers take over. WE watch you fairly regular since you are our only real link to our "family". It is a real pleasure to have you be open enough and be on tv. I hope this will last a long time and reach more lesbians in our small towm. Say HELLO to all the animals you touch, I also am a supporter of taking in abused animals or donating what we can. On disability, we cannot afford much but cable and a cat, but we are proud of YOU.
Hi Ellen, First of all I want to tell you that I admire and respect you. After seeing your show today I wanted to offer to create a butterfly garden in part of your extra lot. I retired last year and have started a butterfly group in my area. It is Southeast Michigan Butterfly Association, www.sembabutterfly.com. It is my mission to help ecology by educating people about the use of native plants. It would be my honor to work on a butterfly garden for you. Sincerely, Brenda Dziedzic
DEAR ELLEN, I LOVE YOU AND YOUR SHOW. I WATCH YOU EVERYDAY AND I CAN'T TELL YOU HOW MUCH YOU MADE LAUGH AND CRY. YOU LOVE TO HELP PEOPLE SO MUCH AND YOU DO IT FROM THE HEART. ONE PERSON I HAVE NOT SEEN ON YOUR SHOW IS CELINE DION. I AM DISABLE AND I CAN'T FLY OR TRAVEL. I WATCH YOUR SHOW EVERYDAY AND I TAPE IT. SO I DON'T MISS YOU. AGAIN CELINE HAS A NEW CD TAKING CHANCES.THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING YOU DO TO HELP PEOPLE OUT. ESTHER
Ellen, I know you probably won't read this, but I just wanted to let you know how amazing I think you are. You are so thoughtful and kind to people and I think that you need to speak out more and stand up for our rights.
I watch your show EVERYDAY and hopefully one day I will be able to meet you! If I miss your show one day, I go here or I go to Youtube. Your like, my role model [even though your 50!]

Hi Ellen,
I think it's wonderful that you donated items from the home you demolished to Habitat for Humanity. I am involved in our local chapter and we are currently running a Women Build project (women building homes) to empower women to believe in themselves. We are now in training to build our first home in this Women Build beginning late May and know how difficult it is to get funding. We are so grateful, because you are helping people, and that is what we are here for and what Habitat for Humanity is about.
Bless you,
Ellen, bless you for having Josiah on. I was heartbroken that he didn't make the top 24...he should have!!! He sounds like the World Idol, 2001, Kirk Nilsen from Norway. He is adorable and I just want to see more of him. I would definitely buy a CD is he makes one. What talent in such a cute and interesting person...Thank you so much for pleasing so many fans who were disappointed ...You are wonderful...
OMG! ELLEN!! I so love your show! It doesn't matter what kind of day i'm having, when you get up and dance, the energy is overwhelming and i will dance in my living room until i litterally can't breathe anymore! You have done so much for people and you make people have a good time even when they feel like it!! Your a wonderful person and i hope to one day have the chance to meet you, but if not your in my house every morning!! Have a wonderful day and GOD bless everything you do!
I just want to tell you how wonderful I think you are. You touch the world with such goodness, and as a by-stander, I personally thank you for your big heart and willingness to "step up" and spread happiness. Life is too short. Carpe Diem!
Ellen, What??? I love that house!! Too bad it wasn't fixable. I wonder if the previous owners were watching? You should have called them and and said you had a surprise for them and don't forget to watch the show today!!
Then..Crash!!Boom!!!Crash!!! Surprise!!!
P.S. Primaries today!! Voters prove the media wrong and you decide, not them, who you vote for. Be individuals who can think for yourselves and vote for the candidate who would be the best to run our country. It is not too late. You don't have to jump on the band wagon.
thats was nuts , i really hope you owned that nice house , and by the way you look sooo hot it that t shirt , i think you should have a dress down day on the show ! thanks and have a great day!
