Ellen's Biggest Fan (450 Pounds)

It turns out that King, the great ape, loves to watch Ellen's show. As a matter of fact, he doesn't like to watch anything else. If you have an animal or even a small child that likes to watch Ellen, she'd like to hear about it. Or better yet, grab a video camera so that Ellen can see it. Here's how to send it our way.

Ellen,

You are a true American work horse. I just want to commend on being as sick as you were over the past couple of weeks, you just kept on trooping.
Your TV show is the best on the air, and you should be vey proud of that. I have only watched for about a year and "love" it. You have a personality that gets inside everyone. Keep up the good work gal, and sure hope your feeling better.

Thank you.

My daughter and I had just returned home from euthanizing our beloved cat, 15 yr.old Joey. Heartbroken and numb, we turned on Ellen, to see her dancing for King. At a time of such sadness,The Ellen Show was a ray of sunshine. Thanks Ellen, for making us laugh for awhile. Whenever you feel down, and don't feel like doing your show, think of people like us, who receive such a lift from your warmth and humor.

Hi Ellen,

We're so glad you enjoyed King from our Monkey Jungle segment of Out of Town. Out of Town, a Flavorpill and Urban Experiment production, documents "hipsters" discovering rural parts of America: New Yorkers go to Dutch Country (PA), a Chicagoan visits Baraboo (WI), and our Miami resident visits Monkey Jungle (and other Key West locations).

Hi Ellen,

I'm glad you are an animal lover we are too. We had a puppy and her name was mandy. We lost her due to that food poisoning. We had to put her to sleep. That was the hardest thing we had to do.
She had kidney failure and couldn't even stand up
We had to carry her outside to do her business and she couldn't even stand up for that.

You make me very happy to see and hear your stories about animals. Keep up the good work!!!!

Hi Ellen,
Please keep in contact with King.
That is such a funny & wonderful situation.
He knows you are an animal lover.
You have a lot of joy & he feels that.
Thanks so much...I laughed till I cried.

How cool! I love this! I am so happy he gets to watch Ellen! What nice people who take care of King to set this up for him. Maybe other caretakers will do this to lessen other critters boredom of being caged up. Awesome! He certainly has great taste. Ellen is the only show that I watch every time it is on. Two of my cats, Chris and Tony will watch tv occasionally. Tony the Tiger recently sat in my lap to my side, sitting up liks a teddy bear watching the Awesome Pawsome show on Animal Planet about the baby Bengal tigers. I was so fascinated by him watching but I could not move to get the camera and when commercial came on, he totally lost interest until it came on again. Chris, will all of a sudden watch different things and he sits right on me in front of me and his ears and head move with what is going on the screen. They have yet to discover Ellen but I do dance with them!

I so enjoyed the show about King and being the animal lover that I am I have an e-mail I would like to foward you about a little puppy but I don't know how is there a special e-mail? There are pictures and all. Your show is on my Bucket List maybe one day I can make it from Atlanta. You are the greatest for all you do for both for you home town and working with Brad Pitt.

Wow!!! What a fan you have there. How about a picture with king! Hi Ellen How are you today. Love Donna.

i did'nt get to see king because they interupted your show today for breaking news about the earthquake in Wells Nv. I was sad.

hi, I am writting this e-mail because my four year old son wants you to know that you are his best friend.

Ellen,

I watch your show every day and love every minute of it. However, today you insulted King the gorilla by trying to 'talk' to him in chimpanzee language. Gorillas do not hoot and jump around. I truly hope you have the opportunity to meet him and enjoy the special traits that gorillas possess.

EllenHi my nane is Sabina Gonzales i live in INDIO CALIFORNIA Me my Mom and Grandma watch you'r show like every day and we just love it you are so out going and really funny! I am only 12 years old but i will be 13 on April 14 i am super excited.

Ellen..Please go and see King when you go to Fl. I love that story. God Bless the animals, and Willie Nelson for helping them.

Ellen,
I have never been a big fan of talk shows, but I find myself rushing home from work to catch the last 45 minutes of your show. In this time of sadness, despair, world unrest, political selfishness, and news media that only report the bad, ugly, and horrific news, YOU are a breath of fresh air. Your show is always, upbeat, entertaining, and you seek out the everyday people that make up this country. You show the humanity, humor, generosity, and heart of the people. Thank you for being a day brightener and bringing hope, love, and acceptance back into our homes. Long may you serve as the DAYTIME DIVA of Laughter and Love.

Gee I thought I was your biggest fan...but King has me beat by a couple of pounds and not to mention I'm not as cute. That will not stop my love and admiration for you though I know you have room for all of us... Looking forward to your trip here in Florida...Come on down your the only celeb Florida is missing.
