Ellen was full of surprises Tuesday. Here she interrupts one of Senator Hillary Clinton's campaign stops to ask Hillary about the big issue that has divided America for too long, "glitter or no glitter?"

I just got an idea! It would be so great to pick
someone (nice)to spend a day in the life of Ellen! How great that would be. (Run a background check on them)WHAT THE February!!!!!
Great idea? Thank you once again. Bobbie

Ellen- You know what it means to fight back after disappointment and rejection. You know what it means to have people try to beat you down. Hillary has been subjected to so much abuse from the right, the media, and even for a while by her husband, but like you, she is a fighter and a survivor- she comes back every time because she is dedicated to her business of public service. Just as you have been all your life dedicated to bringing people joy through comedy, she has brought people joy by helping to solve their problems over and over again and standing up for people's rights all over the world- beginning as a young lawyer, and on into her many adult years as first lady, senator, and through her many public service roles such as the Children's Defense Fund. I am so proud to have you in the media- I wish you many more emmys. You and Hillary are true American heros in my book. God bless you both.

Ellen,

I have always admired your humor and spunk. I so enjoyed watching Senator Obama when he appeared on your show (what a great dancer he is...don't you think?). I am sure that you will invite him back to keep things fair and balanced in the "equal time" agenda. I wonder what his ideas would be on the topic of Glitter? Let's find out!

Perhaps, in fairness, you should invite Ralph Nader on as well!

Thank you for doing your part to unite our country in humor, as it is one thing that we all agree on!

P.S. I love your giveaways, now that I'm an unemployed Gramma, I enter everything that I can. I'm already thinking about CHRISTmas for my grandchildren. Your giveaway for tomorrow is dissapointing tho. I'm one of those (probably minority) who does not have the set up to take a picture and submit it. A friend of mine's husband refurbished a computer for me(which I appreciate with all my heart) to have contact with the outside world. I don't do much outside of my house. I need three surgeries and am trying to get emotionally strong enough to put up the big fight - Tribal Employer. It's very hard to fight an entiny that will not waive their sovereign immunity for it's employees. I was wrongly termed after 28 years of service and I have no recourse. So Here I sit, trying to regain the fight to bring forth the proof that I have that I was wrongly terminated to my Board of Directors. And then on top of everything I couldn't enter your big giveaway LOL. Still love ya! Baamaapii Keep up all that you do, you are awesome. Chi-Miigwetch - (Big Thank You)Peggy

Thanks Ellen for supporting Hillary Clinton for President. She is a brillant strong woman and the best candidate for the oval office. It is too bad that so many men won't vote for a women President. She sure has my vote!!!

Aniin (Hello) Ellen

This is the first time I have felt the need to post my concerns. This is a very scary time for Americans. I beleive this is and will go down in history as the Most Important Election in the history of the United States.

I'm not at or close to my A game - I am recovering from a complete breakdown. I was not hospitalized (probably should have been) but tried to keep my spirits up in front of my children/grandchildren.

Even tho, I'm still recovering, I do know that the confusion that I feel towards our government and the candidates we have to chose from is extremely and very real. All sides seem to have the answers you want to hear.

I don't understand why, when a candidate gets caught up in lies, betrayals (friends, family and constituents) and plain old fashion dishonesty, the people shrug it off as there is the politician coming out. I'm so sick of lies, betrayals and the plain old dishonesty, it makes me sick.

Through conversations with a nephew (currently serving our country in Iraq) and with a friend of my son's who works for the Federal govt. I have found out that I am a Liberal Republican - I always considered myself as a Democrat. The issues that we are facing us today and how we handle them will forever define these Great United States of ours. We need to hear not the whats in the candidates jargon, but the hows, when, and the wheres of the questions that are posed.

The petty use of our time and energy is costing every candidate votes.

I have decided that I will vote for the candidate that fits waht my parents taught and raised me up on. It's integity, sincerity, honesty, morals, family values and trustworthiness. Fortunately, we have the opportunity to watch how they portray them. Through the media, and shows like yours. If all of the critical issues were resolved and decisions were based on all the attributes listed above - what a wonderful world we would have.

Talking about your show - Ellen You Are Simply The Best. There is not much to laugh at in my life, at this point, (and this to shall pass) but you sure do cheer me up. I hate to miss any one of your shows. I beleive that the reason why you are so successful is that you live, love and laugh with all the virtues listed about, and you are true to yourself. With much love and respect - here's to you. Baamaapii, (Later)

ELLEN, ELLEN, ELLEN..............WHEN WILL TELEVISION PERSONALITIES REALIZE THAT VIEWERS REALLY, REALLY, REALLY DO NOT CARE TO HAVE POLITICS ENTER OUR LIVING ROOMS UNLESS WE TURN ON THE NEWS? MOST VIEWERS OF YOUR SHOW ENJOY YOUR ANTICS AND WE CONSIDER YOU AN ENTERTAINER. YOU TAKE US AWAY FROM EVERYDAY ISSUES AND MAKE US LAUGH. WHEN YOU SWITCH GEARS AND BRING IN YOUR OBVIOUS POLITICS WE ARE SO VERY DISSAPPOINTED. PLEASE DO NOT BECOME THE NEXT ROSIE, SHE AND BABS HAD TO LEAVE TOWN. STICK TO WHAT YOU ARE GOOD AT AND REALIZE YOUR PLACE IN TELEVISION.

I don't make it home to watch your show but I come to your website to watch it I love your episode with Hillary it was great. What America needs is her.

Dear Ellen, Thank you for your visit with Senator Clinton. I was so very upset with Jay Leno's skit about Hillary that I sent an email and will not watch his show again. The flashing skit was way over the line, as a wowan I was insulted. I believe that she has taken more abuse than a male candidate have ever taken. Thank you again for the piece on Hillary.

Hillary is Right, It is Magic

Once upon a time, I would get angry hearing sound bites of Hillary making fun of the movement.  I think Sunday she even used the term fairy dust as a way to describe how we hoped to get things done.  I was angry, hurt, insulted and wanted to shout from the roof top how hard we are all working to change this country.  Then I realized, she believes she can change the world without us, the voter--how childish of her. Doesn't she realize a President without Congress on his or her side is just a lame duck? Does she know the democrats will need take the Senate and the House by 65% in order to have a mandate? Does she know that the only way to do that is not by winning just the National election for president, but the state elections for Congress and the Senate? Maybe she just wants to be president and hasn't considered what it will take to get things done?

We know what it takes to get things done, it takes a movement! It takes new voters and party faithful.  It takes winning the House and Senate, not just the Presidency.  We will deliver this country a great victory. We will do this not for Obama but for ourselves, that is truly magic.  It is magic that we know our power and how to use our votes and how to motivate others.  Yes, I believe in magic and we don't need fairy dust to accomplish this.   We just need to deliver a victory.

Can you, Mrs. Clinton, vote for all of us? Can you appoint men and women to the House and Senate? Can you even motivate people to vote in state elections? You need the House and Senate to give you a mandate. Our movement will do everything we can to give President Obama a mandate.  Voters may do everything they can to make sure you, Senator Hillary Clinton, are not given the power of a mandate.  We need to win seats not lose them.

So we the people are now writing an American Fairy Tale and we shall live happily ever after. We are prepared to work hard.  We are prepared to put pressure on all elected officials to do the voters bidding.  That is how you get health care.  That is how you end a war.  That is how you change the tax codes.  Dealing behind closed doors doesn't cut it, you must do it with us and our support.  You can't rule America, but you can motivate her. To bad you didn't realize that sooner.

Vote yes for glitter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the enjoyment of glitter should not be limited to young kids. We think age should not be a determining factor to whether or not you have fun. Come on, glitter= fun.

glitter brightens everyones lives!
for sure!

Thanks so much for dropping in on Hillary. I loved it. I'm a huge Hillary fan, but I appreciate your giving her air time because of the media's unbalanced coverage of the two Democratic candidates. I would feel just as strongly about unfair coverage if it were Obama receiving the short end of the stick. The media should not grill and bash one candidate and treat the other as if he can do no wrong. I just want fairness. Thanks for having Hillary on!

I loved that Ellen talked to Sen. Hillary Clinton and I loved the response that Sen. Clinton gave! I am all for Hillary as our next president ! As Sally Field said, "a Mother would not let a war continue". Here's to all Mothers and woman, we need a "woman" in the Commander and Chief office!

Hi Ellen, I love that you had Senetor Clinton I sure hope she beomes our President. Again thank you for having her as part of your show.

Ellen, If ANYONE KNOWS what it is like to be put aside because of your gender or sexual preference it is YOU!!! But I believe that JUST AS YOU DID, Hillary WILL continue to throw punches until the VERY END!!! I AM VOTING FOR Hillary and I ALWAYS supported you during your down times. I BELIEVE YOU AND HILLARY ARE TWO OF THE MOST STRONGEST WOMAN I HAVE EVER COME ACROSS!! Thank you for supporting her for wanting to make REAL CHANGE in Washington! It's OUR country NOT the governments!!!GO HILLARY!!!!

Was at GWU yesterday & what an added thrill to be in the audience with you on the big screen giving Hillary a boost. Frankly, Hillary's candidacy may be losing steam, not due to any blunders on her part, but due to the immense amount of energy & intensity drained away from her campaign having to ward off incredibly irresponsible & biased media coverage against her & for Obama. Shameful, dangerous & almost criminal behavior that risks our most precious national identity….fair & truthful elections.

Dare I say we deserve what we get; but the stakes are too high to throw in the towel. Hillary Clinton must fight & fight until the very end even if that means super delegates & convention chaos. Our country deserves nothing less!

Thank you, Ellen for getting into the fray!!!!
