Ellen was full of surprises Tuesday. Here she interrupts one of Senator Hillary Clinton's campaign stops to ask Hillary about the big issue that has divided America for too long, "glitter or no glitter?"

Ellen,

You are an entertainer with a following because you are usually a good entertainer. Nothing you have said or done has been more entertaining than having Hilary Clinton as your guest. There was no discussion of substantive issues or of her qualifications to be president. Come to think of it, I guess you were right because she has not raised a substantive issue and her 30 years experience boils down to whatever time is left after you subtract the 16 years she was the "fist lady" of Arkansas and the United States. You are operating under the delusion that we care about your political preferences. We no more care about who you want to be president than we care about your sexual orientation or Hilary's for that matter. We watch you because you are entertaining. You are not a news anchor, an editorialist or any kind of political expert. You are simply using your celebrity to try to sell an "empty suit."

hey ellen
i was going to boycott your show Tuesday because i hate hilary clinton. but i guess i love you more than i hate her because i still watched. i still hate her though and i'll tell you why. because i am a nurse and she said we were all overpaid and anybody could be a nurse with a few weeks training. i live in a small town but i don't feel overpaid at 13 dollars an hour. and i would like to see her or any other senator or congressman or politician work nights and weekends and holidays. they even get a summer vacation like school children. if anybody is overpaid, it's her.
i also don't like how she says one thing in one state and something different in another. but i guess that's just politics, saying what the people want to hear right? she's done that with nafta.
i am no fan of george bush but when it comes to the economy sucking, bill clinton set him up for that

HOORAY FOR HILLARY!
And HOORAY for ELLEN!
Get Out The Vote, Girls!!!
As Bob the BUILDER said before his line was stolen:
YES WE CAN!
Hillary '08 There IS No Other Choice!

Thank you for supporting Hillary!!

Hillary is the most qualified candidate and will serve women and children and everyone well.

My husband and I started a grassroots website to support Hillary (aapiforhillary.com) and spent 12+ hours putting together this video. Check it out:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=e1CHlQ1X4SE

I never dreamed of becoming an MD until my mother introduced me to her female MD friend and I realized that women could be MDs. It would be truly inspiring to young women in the US and women everywhere to see a woman lead the most powerful nation in the world.

Gender transcends race. People of all races would benefit from the 1st woman president of the USA.

all i have to say is that the last pres. election was rigged and do you all really think this one isnt as well? God bless and protect us all cause we're really gonna need it if Hillary is not our next President.

I am so pleased that you are using your influence to help Senator Clinton become President. I was beginning to think I would have to vote more than once! Well, that or get onto the Supreme Court in one big hurry to have the final word and vote on the election!! (or is that only a Bush thing?)

To paraphrase a quote I saw "I am voting for Hillary, not because she is a woman, but because I am a woman." I am a woman who is disappointed with a media that is not content to present the facts so that we can make up our minds. Rather, they are "interpreting" events and facts and seem intent on promoting their own personalities. I have read the resumes, the books, and the platforms for both candidates, and I'm behind Hillary 100%. I am voting with my mind and my heart. Ellen, thank you for your support. For those who don't know, Obama was on the show earlier this year and Ellen did s great job with both candidates and kept the questions and topics light.

Ellen,
Thanks for your support of Hillary Clinton, I believe she is definitely the one to vote for and ready for the large task ahead. She is strong, genuine, and ready to serve us all in america. Democrats or Republican she is ready to serve us all. Go Ellen.....VOTE HILLARY CLINTON FOR PRESIDENT......SHE HAS SOLUTIONS.......

Way to go Ellen...
Hillary, medium income people in the USA need your help. We need jobs that pay us what we are worth. We are the backbone of this country, we pay the most taxes. Yes, the wealthly are here but in reality pay less taxes than we do and have more spending power, but volunteer less and in general it is US middle class folks that elect OUR President. This President should and must be Hillary... Pass the word ...

ellen

I was so happy to see Hillary on your show today. I think she is a wonderful and strong women. Her strengh is what our country needs.

To the people who are bringing up that Hillary stayed with her husband when he cheated on her. Let me say, she had THREE deaths in her family the year this really all blew up. AND she would have been criticized had she left him or not. She had a daughter to think of and she with the help of friends and her church stayed.

She did NOT stay to ride on his name and saying that is sexist. In FACT when she first married him she KEPT her name because she did not want her career mixed up so easily with his. The people of Arkansas jumped all over her for not taking his name. It was in the papers constantly, it was on the news daily. And they hated her for that. She was trying to get Head Start in place and programs for families and other important initiatives attended to. FINALLY she decided that it was getting too much attention and was a smaller matter and taking attention OFF important work so she took his name. When she announced she was doing that so that people could focus on more important things they shut up about it and guess what?? She DID get those great programs in place and they are STILL successfully running today. The people of Arkansas, *A RED STATE* voted in LANDSLIDE for her. She is not from there and they didn't like her when she first got there.

She was a liberal. She was different. She wanted to do work for community programs, for schools, pro bono work for abused children, they were not used to a first lady of a state doing all that AND she had not taken Bill's last name....well today if you go there, twenty years later....people still love her. She turned them around by getting RESULTS. Her programs function to this day and a reading program she helped my step mother get off the ground is taught all over North America to teachers so they can take them back to their home schools.

She has been unfairly ripped apart in the press but, you ask NYC firefighters what they think about her, you ask the teachers of Little Rock what they think. People who have seen what she WILL do are still on her team and if she was not going to do what she says she will do they would all be saying so now!!!!!!!!

You don't get a landslide vote from a red state years, and years later if you didn't do a damned good job there.

And yes, I am voting for her and no I will never vote the other way in this party. I will write this womans name on that ballot. The press handed him his campaign "miraculous" rise on a silver platter. She EARNED her way here and she proved to me that she will be a brilliant president.

Ellen, thank YOU for having her on. It's been a smear from Super Tuesday on for Hillary. We need more people to speak up for her. If O. can buy the other campaign by giving 100 million dollars and more to his campaign and then he can continue to say it was a "grassroots" thing then YOU can speak up!!

P.S. You doing this means far, far more to me than Mr. (P.cat dolls) himself Geffen. I wouldn't LET that one endorse me personally..ug!!

GO HILLARY!!!!!! She's a fighter for solutions!!

A little less talk and a LOT More ACTION!

Ellen: I always have fun watching your show. Today, I had fun and felt proud of seeing our next president in action.

Keep going Hellen!!!!

Get there Hillary, do it for us.

To Clear(posting #3): You must be a man in disguise. How, as a woman, you talk about another woman like that. Maybe that is because you are soooo smart that your husband is chating on you right now and has been cheating on you for a long time? I hope not, I would not wish that on any woman.

Hillary was humillated, trashed, and hurt. However, she behaved as a real first lady would do. She had grace and dignity during those days. I sincerely admired her for not dividing the country more, and not giving the rest of the world another reason to talk.

I enjoyed watching you interview Sen. Clinton, not only was it hilarious but it revealed how understanding and reasonable Sen. Clinton is. I was glad when I saw that she was going to be on your show. To be honest, I enjoyed watching your interview with Sen. Clinton more than Sen. Obama. After seeing the debate in Austin, TX Sen. Clinton seems more ready than Sen. Obama in becoming president of the U.S. It made me wonder if Sen. Obama choose Sen. Clinton to go first in th debate since he would just use her words and then add a few words of his own.

Vote for Hillary

Glad to see Senator Hillary Clinton on Ellen.
People need to leave her personal life alone and focus on the real issues Americans are facing today. Look beyond her gender and personal issues from the PAST. LOOK at her accomplishments and you will see the leadership in her. Senator Hillary Clinton is a human just like all of us. She has to appear tough and strong to go against all of the men and lead our country like a true leader. Give her some respect and credits. Don't forget that she fought for human rights and womens' rights. GO HILLARY!!!

Diane...you must be kidding..."brilliant strong woman"?..you mean the "brilliant" woman who had no idea that her husband was cheating on her while half the population knew otherwise? or do you mean the "strong" woman who stayed with her man regardless of how many times he cheated?

I don't call that brilliant or strong...I call it being an ignorant, weak, doormat.

If you were going to counsel your daughter on relationships with men, would you advise her to pretend her husband is faithful and then stay with him after the evidence was so overwhelming you had to admit it?

Get beyond your political ideology and see Hillary for what she truly is.

Love you anonymous. Thank you for all the hard work you do in the schools. Ellen should have you on her show. Great comeback!!

Hi Ellen I work for public school system Ive been a custodain for 21 yrs. I know all about glitter I dont like it either. It stays in the carpet for years unless you like sparklely carpet I wouldnt have it out over carpet! carol

Hi Ellen.
I don't know if you read these or not but I would like to say thank you for a great job you do every day. If I can't watch your show I tape it so when I get home from work I and relax watching you. I think it's great that you popped in on Hillary today. I did read all the comments people have put on today some I think should think twice before they say you shouldn't put Hillary on or even back her. If Oprah can go on her show and say to all the viewers watching telling them Barack is the only one to vote for and go campaigning for him why can't you tell people to vote for Hillary. At least I seen her put her hand to her heart and say the pledge of allegiance to the flag. But when I see a picture of Barack and Bill Richardson , Hillary , and another person with there hands over there heart saying the pledge while BARACK stands there with his hands down and front of his lap and his mouth closed that makes me think twice if you notice in any pictures taken all the candidates have flags on their lapels where's Barack's? If you don't believe that true go online to Snoop.com and see the picture.

I was so trilled to be off work early today and got to catch your show. thank you so much for having Senator Clinton on. I support her 100% and I was so glad to let the people of America see her humorous personality.
She has so much to offer to the American people and I will really hate to see her loose.
Thanks again I so enjoy your show. I will be taping it from now on.
