Ellen...love your show and love how different you and your show are from Oprah..however, I am frankly surprised at how much air time you are giving to Obama when your support for Hillary would make MUCH more of a difference to this primary election. Oprah chose her candidate and people flocked behind her support. Your support of Hillary would help humanize, relax and uplift the Hillary campaign at a time when she really needs the female support as well as national support. How great would it be to stand next the first female president and know you had a part in her success? I thought we could see this and were ready for this, but the nation is blindly following a belief in something new, not necessarily a sure thing, but a gamble on the possibility that another man can make a difference...Hillary is a fighter, she make good on her promises and get us all back on track--I trust her more than I can trust Obama...can you? Bring Hillary back on your show and give her a hand up, Ellen. You can influence where this thing goes from here...
Very interesting on the negative comments about Obama. Will definitely continue to be involved with my grandchildren and trying to assist them in receiving/seeking a good education....
Some of the posts reflect the lack of knowledge (or reading skills) needed to make comments on politics.
"Be the "Change" that you want to see in others".
Love, Love, Love...Ellen!

It is nice of you to have Obama since you had Clinton the other day.
He should not be bitten for being colored. After all he is too smart than any of the people who run for the position.
Americans please do not forget he did not choose to be black. It happend to be him anyone of us could have born black.
Remember his mother is White.
I do not think that race is not the factor.
Thanks for having Obama on your show it shows that you are a true American. Who is not distracted by influence.
Keep it up!
Obama appears to be a nice gentleman, but I think Hillary definitely has more experience, and she would be the better choice.
It was interesting to see Jim Cramer, a big Hillary supporter, on the same program as Barack Obama. Cramer confirmed that Hillary is a "business as usual girl" who is loved and adored by special interests and Wall Street, by saying she wouldn't make any big changes. Cramer thinks maintaining the status quo is a good thing for the economy. Wow! I'm voting for Barack Obama for "change we can believe in!" which includes taking back our power from corporate, big money interest groups. In addition; he demonstrates remarkable leadership skills, he presents well-reasoned arguments about his proposed agenda; and I believe the world will be a much better place for everyone when Barack Obama is President and America is no longer run by yesterday's politics.
Once again, Obama isn't and never was a Muslim. He is a Christian. He does say the pledge of Allegiance. The picture you see without his hand on his heart was during the Star Spangled banner. Since all you people who post know how to use a computer. Check the internet on reliable unbiased sites to find the facts before you spread terrible lies about someone.
I can't believe these racist, ridiculous comments on this site! If any of you were actually knowledgeable on the issues, you would know that Clinton and Obama's policy proposals are %90 percent identical, and McCain and Obama are not that different either. If you don't like Senator Obama, that is your right. But, to make offensive, unintelligent remarks about him just prove to the world that Americans are backwards idiots who don't see that things are changing on a global level. Open your minds, read a book, turn off the TV.
Ellen youre great!!!!!
Awesome episode. Thank you for being open enough to know that politics is a part of our way of life and to have the candidate's on the show is great!!!and important.. To many people dont get involved due to what they do or dont watch and the time they watch..We know that you feel like us, that voting is VERY important and should be brought to attention...on that note i can say~~~~~~~
OBAMA 08
YES WE CAN!!!!
One of the two presidents who magnified my pride in being a citizen of the United States was John Fitzgerald Kennedy. The other president who warmed my heart as an American was Ronald Reagan. Although John had held office as a United States Senator, and Ronnie had been the Governor of California, neither of them had any experience as Commander in Chief of the greatest nation in the world when they took the oath of office. Their combined foreign policy experience and knowledge of international relations was certainly not first-hand. And yet, no one can argue against their records of being successful in their time served as POTUS. All arguments against Senator Obama based on his "lack of experience" in these areas don't hold water, my fellow posters. Rethink your positions, and please try to be more careful in the processes you pursue to arrive at the conclusions you reach regarding which candidate you will support in this presidential election.
I am disappointed you chose to do an Obama segment. Quite frankly, I wish you would stick to just entertaining us and not get into political, health, economy and the current topics , etc.
when people look or liston to obama ,theyre just listoning to very prepared speechs ,he doesnt have any real experience ,now hes tryin to play the candidate game of being the cool in which hillary is fallin into the trap ,with her pitiful statements ,,me and i hope a bunch of independant thinkers and voters will vote for experience and not fall for a harvard prepared speaker ,,i mean cmon people ,,ive been democratic for yrs but i will vote for john mccain when it matters ..!!barack get a lot more experience.
I am voting for Barack Obama. In my opinion Hilary Clinton has shown inadequate leadership qualities, poor judgment in the administration of her campaign and the inability communicate in a manner befitting of the President of the United States.
Barack has run his campaign like rocket science. We don’t need the “same old …same old in the White House. Our country wasn’t designed to be run by a linear succession of dynastic families.
I agree with the majority of the Democratic Party. Obama is a natural born leader, a great statistician and is presenting policies that show a strength of wisdom that is rare indeed!
Hi,
Love Ellen....but was a little disapointed with the interview today. Yesterday with Hillary, she asked the ever pressing question "what she would do about the glitter"? Today she asked Obama more pressing questions....wish she had done that with Hillary.
Hillary does have more experience. Obama was only in the senate for 6 months.. What can you learn or do in 6 short months? When Bill Clinton was in the Whitehouse, other countries liked us, the economy was booming. What happened in his personal life should have been kept there personal. But they tried to impeach for a personal thing, and Bush stays after starting a war with a lie. Countries hate us. What a shame. We need Hillary in the Whitehouse, to get back on track. I just don't think Obama has the experience or the knowledge the she has. If that is true about the flag and the bible, then that is just another reason.
Cindy
Alissa &Tina,
Having a name like "Hussein" does not automatically mean the person is MUSLIM. Furthermore, being Muslim does not automatically means the person is a Terrorist. However, anyone makes those kinds of assertions does qualify them as ignorant, which to some equals to dumb(but not necessary racist).
adam

Obama is going to be the backbone of America. He has my vote.
