Just some facts:

1) Barama DOES Pledge Allegiance to our Flag... the "letter and photo" going around the internet was during the National Anthem when it's traditional to stand and take off your hat. (His grandfather, a WWII vet taught him when he was 2 yrs. old to put his hand over his heart during the Pledge of Alliegance and to stand during the National Anthem).

2) He did NOT swear into the senate on the Koran, but the Bible...

Please, before you get 'scared' or believe smears being sent around on the internet, check the facts yourself!

Perhaps you need to get re-educated with the facts.

Adam, No kidding Hillary has no experience as President, did you just figure that out? Perhaps your mind can't think it through. When you live WITH someone who IS PRESIDENT.....you live the experience. You see the rights and wrongs that are being done to us, The AMERICAN People. When Pres. Clinton left office, our Children and Grandchildren had a fairly good future to look forward to. After all, they ARE our future leaders. We HAD a balanced budget, our offspring will be paying for years if they don't die first fighting in the war. I work in health care as a licensed Professional. How many families, young or old have you seen skip their medicines and/or treatment because they can't pay? Hillary has been talking health-care for years, she hasn't given up, has she? Because it's important. She knows what it's like to be poor and what it's like to have money. She wants to help those who need it. ALL OF US!! By the way, ALL of our President's have had scandals, we just hear more about them now due to media coverage. Obama has been compared to Pres. Kennedy, do you know how many women HE had while HE was President? How many scandals were covered up because people actually used to respect the President of the United States? We need that respect back. I think you need to read a few history books, you might learn something about our past President's and scandals. In your rebuttal to me, I didn't see anything factual to make me change my mind. Check out the "Does Obama make you feel more secure for the future?" pole posted on this site. Obama was way ahead two days ago, looks like the "no's" are about to overtake Obama in just a few days. Obama's celebrity endorsement won't make him become President. Neither will his charm and charisma or his perfect teeth, or that he's "cute". This country is in a critical period right now, we need someone who doesn't get a big head from publicity. We need someone who can get us out of what we were given by the Republicans in the last 8 years. Our lives and our children's lives depend on it. What's important, is for everyone to get out and vote. Learn about your candidate, and there will be no question. Vote, and get everyone you know to vote. You have a right to speak your opinion- but do us all a favor and find out what your opinion is and not what someone else wants your opinion to be.
I have a right to my opinion just as "ELLEN" has a right to her opinion!
But has "ELLEN" actually given us her opinion???
I watch Ellen's shows and I sure don't remember her saying who she was voting for or not!?
And as for her not having McCain on her show yet~
did you ever think that maybe she invited him and he refused or was busy with other engagements?
As for Hilliary not being on as much as Obama or the questions not being fair~??
Maybe Ellen thought Hilliary got her say great the first time around and maybe she thought Obama didn't speak he just danced so I guess I better let him speak.???

I wasnt keeping count of how many times "ELLEN" aired a political "person" or if they are republican or democratic-
I watch the show because of all the joy "ELLEN" brings to myself and others!

You who criticise Ellen on here are acting just like Obama!
He couldnt get ahead without trying to make others look bad and he wasnt even recognized by himself! ~It took a very special and loved idol-OPRAH- to get people to even notice him!
I also love Oprah and this is not at all critising Oprah- I'm just saying this man can't seem to stand on his own!
And what will happen during the tough times for him if indeed he becomes the President-
His wife during a TV interview was asked if they didnt win this time around would he run for President again in the future and his wife answered for him and said NO~
because I would never put my family through all this again-
running for President is nothing compared to being President- so when it gets rough is his wife going to make him quit Presidency?
NO disrespect to his wife-she appears to be a wonderful lady and most of all a loving mother & wife whom is worried about protecting her children, her family.
However, this is the real thing- President of the United States-and we need a President that can be just that no matter how rough it gets without his wife giving him permission to do so.
When I saw that TV interview with his wife as short of an interview that it was, I was confused on why he was running for President.
Just making a point- people open your eyes here.
your like a bunch of school children and following the popular kid around and not thinking for yourself!
Oh and one more thing- notice I didnt say whom I was voting for, so Does that mean I'm voting for:

MCcain??

I love your show and have been watching from it's inception, but I'm really disappointed that you've decided to get involved in politics. The refreshing part about your show has been the varied guests you've had which centered around the entertainment industry, every-day people who did good deeds, and interesting topics. You've managed to stay above the fray of political issues, and I wish you would get back to the original format of your show. I'm also disappointed that once you decided to enter the world of political issues, you didn't even feel it necessary to bring on presidential runners from the Republican party! Shame on you, Ellen, for being so obviously one-sided. I expect that kind of bias from Oprah, but never expected it of you.

Obama will Win!!! no matter what or how u all feel about Clinton....So chill....all is well. Love ya Ellen you rock!

Does this Country really want someone who can't even give up smoking without his wife telling him he can't run for president unless he stops smoking and he has to use the "patch" because he is not strong enough mentally to stop on his own!
His reason for smoking is- it helps him handle stress!?
He thinks he has stress now- try being the President of the United States!
What will Obama smoke then???
So if he cant handle that then how can he handle an entire "COUNTRY"!?

Hello. I am a 27 year veteran of the teaching profession and I just retired this June 2007. I watch your show every day while I exercise on my treadmill. It is my favorite part of the day. I enjoy everything about your show, especially hearing about all the good things you do each and every day to help others. It is heartwarming and is a bright spot in many peoples' lives. I wish I lived closer (Maine is as far as it can get) so I could come see your show. Keep up the good work and keep making us smile. I thought the King footage of him dancing to Ellen was hilarious!
