Sadly misunderstood. That baby looks so happy with her daddy. Dannylynn is such a mixture of her parents, I did not think for a second that that Howard was ever her father. I know that Anna is smiling down on her baby and wishing she can be with both of them right now. Wishing that she never fought the truth. What a beautiful family they would have made. Big brother would have been very proud!!! What a horriable sad story, I still cry every time I think of it.

May God Bless Them All

Why would you want Larry BIrkhead on your show..I just would not have thought you would give him any limelight..That child is a money making machine for him at this time and he is not wasting a minute exploding her. His silly little sweet acting face and what a adoring father he is..makes me sick.

She had problems like everyone, maybe she's at peace.I know she would want to be with her lovely daughter,it's so sad.God Bless the child,I hope she is always happy.Looks like he is taking great care of her.Maybe she is with her son!!

Ellen--I feel Larrys visit on your show was a publicity stunt to try and make mends for PIMPING hir daughter out on TV. He is profiting from his daughter and I think it is discusting! We the public know what you are doing Larry and it is dispicable!!!!!!

I have said all along that she was misunderstood. I used to watch her show and I have seen the good that she has done for other people. Ok..so she had some problems...name somebody that doesn't. May she rest in peace forever. I say she was a beautiful person.

Dear Ellen,

I believe Anna Nicole was not only misunderstood by the public but by her doctors as well. I feel that doctors need to be pay closer attention to their patient's physical/mental condition and the side effects of all their medications when prescribing. I also feel that doctors have the responsiblity of fully evaluating their patients before prescribing a mixture of drugs - especially antidepressants. For instance, in the case of Heath Ledger's tragic death. We are losing these people too early when they have so much of life left to live!

I wish Dannilynn and Larry a better future and hopefully the media circus will die down so they can enjoy their life together as father & daughter.

Additionally, Ellen I love your show. You are bright, funny, and you bring an energy to your talk show that I have not seen in a talk show for ages.

Take care, and Happy Valentines Day!

Hi Ellen,

Thank you for bringing a huge bright spot to Television everyday. Such a wonderful 1 hour of laughter and interaction with guests and audience. I think life can be such a struggle and Larry I believe is doing the best he knows how. I don't like to be very opinionated about folks as I am far from perfect and I am sure most of us try to be the best we know how. I was always and still am very curious about Anna. She did and still does have a way of demanding attention. I am sad that there was so much pain in her life. But when you look at pictures of her with her children it says it all. She was in love with her kids and they with her. Isn't that what it is all about. Somewhere in all that goes on in life there is that inner love and peace with someone that you call family. Anyway keep doing what your doing as you are brilliant. Take care of yourself Ellen and your health. You are a hard worker and we want you around for a long time. A huge fan of yours for sure. Sincerely, Susan H. Bracy in Las Vegas, NV

I believe Anna Nicole was a good person when you look past the things that plagued her life she was an awesome women bueatiful in eveyway and I can honestly say I wish that Howard Stern would had been the baby of Dannylynn only because he stood by Annas side through bad and good and I know he loved that baby!!!

I think it is great you had Larry on, but I for one am really tired of the selling out for money and then attacking Anna's mother for her part in the tabloids, God Bless Her. And so-called damage control that him and Howard are doing to try and cover up Howard's involvement in Anna and Daniel's death. They are both nothing but a couple of thieves who act like they care about that baby, but it is their pockets they are concerned about and I for one as many others are incensed and wonder if it is possible for there to be justice in the role Howard played in their deaths and is still in the middle and using Dannielynn as a shield for him.

Hey ELLEN A.K.A. (girl) how bout that Bi-Polar stuff wouldnt ya want to talk about that and why Madonna doesn't have a girl rock band? Because (WOMEN)"Femme Chicks",soft surely, not butch like they should be. Also THEY, absolutely do not know how to play a guitar. Are girls really that stupid?

Hey Ellen, Great Show, as is all of them! I laughed so hard today (I peed myself!) You were so funny with that guy who was doing those experiments. You are simply the best! I watch you EVERTDAY & my biggest wish is to someday come to your show & meet you in person. If you only knew how much your hour show everyday gives me 24-hours of pleasure, and to a shut-in, that means a lot. As for Larry Birkhead, I support him 100% & have always belived in him. I loved Anna & thought she was a beautiful person, and the love she had for Daniel was like I have for my "special needs" son, I too, would die for him, or to be with him, if he goes first. I think that Larry has proved over & above what kind of Daddy he is to his baby girl. Anna is looking down & smiling! Keep being Ellen, We all love you!

Anna Nicole is one of my heroes. If she was really having all of the fun as it appeared, she was living a fantastic life and enjoying it to the hilt! It takes courage to live like that and very few people actually have that much fun in life.

Ellen, I am so happy to see that so many of your fans loved Anna and miss her antics and warm presence. I feel sure that after seeing the exposure your have given to Larry Birkhead, Anna’s little girl, Dannylynn, will grow up to have a positive and educated profile of her mother. Hopefully she will also be richer than God, herself!

It takes courage to assert as much of a positive attitude as Anna Nicole did, all of the time to a TV audience. She generated so many diverse situations into absolutely funny incidents, and did so with a farce.

Anna Nicole’s talent to exhibit unadulterated freedom to be herself and not care what anyone else thought about her eccentric behavior was awesome. Anna was all of that and I miss her dearly.

The only hope that we can pray for is that Dannylynn can bring to us some of the pleasures that her mother gave so freely, the joys of laughter, time after time.

I loved Anna's TV show and miss her very much. Hey, remember her little dog Sugar-Pie? You know, the little dog who used to screw stuffed animals on-camera? That was funny...

The tragedy may have been that she simply failed to understand herself.

Ellen,
I love your show and how like a good friend you seem. You appear to have SO mmuch fun doing your show and you give me the feeling " I wish I could just hang out with you and laugh." Even better would be to go to a pet place with you ! You're as tenderhearted as I am: there isn't a furry creature I don't automatically love in love with and care about. In my house is a golden retriever, 2 cats, a bunny, and in the back yard is a rottweiler/hound mix who doesn't like coming inside. There can never be enough creatures to love and take care of.
I loved Steve Spangler today. I homeschooled my daughter, and we did LOTS of science experiments like you had. LOVED the Ooh Bleck, the cornstarch mixture. We did it at home, loved it, so I did it with my daughter's scout troop. Wow ! The kids were amazed. As was I when the girl walked across it. Wish you had been able to do it too, for your sake!!

Who, may I ask that is pursued by the media in any form is understood? Celebrities are portrayed for us to see only through the facade we are allowed. Certainly, Anna Nicole was a person given to excess. The food addiction was a bright beacon to that fact. We all have our addictions, we all have our excesses. Only, celebrities seem to all have "Dr. Feelgoods" who are willing to dole out whatever they ask for, because of who they are. How many of us, not having the access to those kinds of doctors, are ALIVE today BECAUSE we are not privy to a smorgasboard of drugs??? We still have addictive personalities, but have been kept in check BECAUSE we are not celebrities. Whether it would have been drugs, food, alcohol, whatever, until her internal pain would have been dealt with, she was susceptible to death. It was that fact, to me, that makes her misunderstood.

Dear Ellen,

When I think of Anna N. Smith I think of a woman who was beautiful and had potential. It is sad that she let medications rule her life.

I will say however that she is not an idol in my world but a person in desperate need for a real friend to help her get out of the mess she was in.

I wish the best for Larry... ROCK ON! I also think the baby girl is precious. I knew she was his from day one and my heart ached for him during the battle of paternity. Best wishes Larry and may you only remember the good moments and not the bad with Anna.

I do not think anna nicole was misunderstood i do think she got caught up in the her popularity and money. I think she was a good person and lost her way as she grew. I am sad that someone as young as here unknowingly following doctors advice tragicly overdosed. I hope she is now at peace and i am very glad to see that her baby is with his father and that he has really steped up to the plate and is being not only a resposible person but keeping her safe and not letting her forget her mother that she only had for a short time. Thank you larry for being there for her.
thank you ellen for all you do too for others.

Ellen!!

Yes... society can be mean. Human flaw I guess. They like to tear people down and say untruths about them just to get their jollies and make life more interesting.. which their due is coming... it will all be told in the end. Their will be justice.

Sad that only God knows the real "us".. "ourselves" and those closest to us know us but not to the extent God knows us... not even us/ourselves knows ourselves well. ... I'm still learning who I am... and why I do certain things and how to handle what life throws... which is typically a curve ball! LOL

But do we really care.. should I care what people say or think? Does it really matter? I'm told no it doesn't matter but in reality we all deeply care what others think about us/ourselves. But we... I can't please everyone and someone is always not going to like me or something... so as Gladys says.... Keep on keepin on! and someone else said, "So what, now what!" and "What doesn't kill us makes us stronger."

All part of life I guess. Sometimes when you try and tell people the truth... they think your lying and its hearsay.... its just weird how society is. Just roll with the punches and come out ontop!!! I saw "Cool Hand Luke"... movie starring Paul Newman and his character kept getting back up for more! Inspiring movie!

I am so glad that I am not famous for they usually are never known for who they really are-not everybody can be Ellen!!! I feel that Anna Nichole just wanted to be loved (like most of us) and medicated herself with drugs to make the pain go away. She had just lost a son whom she loved just before she gave birth to her daughter and in her pain over medicated herself to make life seem rosier but the pain would not leave her even with her new child. I am glad that this child is with her Father.
