Dear ellen, I have not seen this movie yet, so I cannot comment. I am a Tommy Lee Jones fan. I used to be a Family Practioner in the area where Coal Miner's Daughter was filmed {Jenkins Community Hospital}, and my mother, Rosalie York, is a REAL coal miner's daughter--number 9 out of a family of 10 children. I enjoy Jon Stewart but last night he was not on top of it - he was very stiff and sounded like the writer strike never ended - his jokes flopped!!! I wish you were hosting Ellen. Last year was much better!!! I enjoy watching the Oscars but after this years dud if you aren't up there next year or they do something amazing I probably won't watch it. Though I'm hoping to see you in Orlando - I'm trying to get tickets and a baby sitter (since I can't bring him though he loves to watch your show also)

Ellen, My new motto..No Ellen No Oscars! When you hosted it was the best ever, no boring lulls. It's actually a good thing you didn't host last night cause my baby cried through it all and if it was you hosting I would have had to tape his mouth shut. I luv ya and am trying to win tickets to come see you at Universal. Please have more contests to come see you so I have a better chance. You brighten me up every day, and boy do I need it :)
Excuse me but I think I have the right to win a Oscar because everyday I Vote or I Pool Poll even when I don,t like it,Where is the GOLDEN GUY I though it whas a guy???? very diffilcult to see because when it is a guy he is missing something and when it is not a guy than she is missing something poor she she miss even two things
What was up with curtailing the pre-show? I love seeing film icons expressing their composure wearing innovative couture.
...And of course, When are You hosting the Oscars again? I think You should do it at least every other year....
Ellen, the Oscars were kind of boring without you. I was so disappointed that Johnny Depp did not win for best actor. i admire him greatly for the roles that he has done, especially taking on such a daunting role as Sweeney Todd. i think you should have him on the show some time- that would be such an entertaining show!

I too felt the Oscars were boring.Ellen,we missed you.You and I have to say,Billy Crystal are my all time favourite hosts.You have to come back.I was also disappointed that Ellen page did not win.I know it was a long shot but I loved her in Juno and she hails from my home province in canada,Nova Scotia...I'm glad it won Best original Screenplay though.

The Golden man was from the very unique group Lord T and Elliose.I was lucky enough to get to see them with Mickey Avalon in Nashville. Ellen,they(lord T & Elloise & Mickey Avalon & The Dyslexic Speedreaders)would make awesome guests! they all have pages on my s pace or I can find um for you.
