Oscars were boring this year. I would have preferred you hosting again Ellen. You were much more fun. If I didn't know better, I would have thought the writers were still on strike.

Watching your show is soooooo much fun. I can be having the worst day...turn the television on to your show and I have to laugh and smile...and chuckle. The saying goes, "Laughter is the best medicine." well I amend that to say, "Ellen is the best medicine." Keep us smiling, laughing...and chucking! :)

Ur show started here in India in 2007 and since then I've been hooked to it.
This year's oscars were sooo boring. Juno should have won more awards. Seriously.

I think that the time they had to prepare
for the show without writers right away alot of credit has to be given to Jon Stewart for hosting and he is funny. Its nice that you get a chance to see different M.C. though the years.
I have been watching the oscars sence they have
been on TV and if you haven't seen the pictures
get out and do so before you say your disapointed
in who won.

Do you know I don,t watch much movies I don,t have the patience to see something moving two,three hours and when I will watch and the movie begins I know most of the time the end
We don,t have see the Oscars you know Dutch tv but it whas on the news The Old Man have won four Oscars I think than are you really old,There will be blood I don,t no seems to me a very scary and angry movie and the used a lot of tomato ketchup I think but I saw La Vie en Rose not the whole movie ofcourse the show us a piece of it and yes I think it is a beautiful movie but I don,t no of she is the best actress because I don,t no the other movies and actress,Do you know Ellen Lady when I read this I think I don,t no much but I know the most beautiful movie I saw him I think 5,6 times LA VITA E BELLA the actor is Roberto Benigni a Italians movie it goos over the second World War and a Jewess man and his son a beautiful story above power and love in a grazy world,you must see him Ellen Lady he is not only real amazing but also funny

I didn't enjoy Jon Stewart as host. He's not very funny. Billy Crystal is the best. And Ellen is good too. Joan Rivers would be good I think.
I enjoyed seeing the movies who have won over the years - and seeing the winners accept their Oscar over the years.
I liked the troups participation
Pretty good all in all, especially considering the reduction in prep time.
Just think about a different host next year.
There were a lot of good performances, but these two were the most outstanding. The best performances are not always American actors. This year proved this to be true.
Hi Ellen, I have watched your show from day 1 and I am one of your biggest fans!!! I think that last year's oscars were way way better, you did such an awesome job, I don't think there will ever be a better host than you !!!!! I was not real happy with the acadamies picks for the winners, I think they should include a few of the real people like me on the acadamy board to vote after all we ARE the ones that pay for the tickets and make or break the movies! Thanks for giving me a chance to voice my opinion and thanks for all you do for people especially making us laugh and smile!(and don't forget dance) Love ya Ellen, Lucretia aka Cre

Hey Ellen,
How about next year while your at the Oscars or hosting the show I take over your show. You could get rest and I could have some fun for once in life. Not a bad idea.
