I would like to write a letter to Ellen at her TV station. Does anyone have the address, not email address, actual address of the TV Station? It is a suggestion that I would like to to bring a story to everyone's attention regarding a human interest interest story I read in the newspaper about a little orphan boy in Bolivia. There is someone waiting with a room all ready for him. A woman out of the good of her heart just decided to take $7,000 and go to Bolivia to help out and give to the poor. When she entered the orphanage, all the children ran to her but one who stood in the corner. He had no expressions, never been loved and his mother had abandoned him. There was no spark of life left in this little boy. This woman managed to hug him and he did not respond at once but she did gain his trust over her short visit. She wants to adopt him and bring him back to Canada. She fears the roadblocks that she is tearing down will take too long and this boy will fall back into the way he was when she first met him. This woman wrote a poem the book Chicken Soup For the Adopted Soul. It goes like this. "I watch her walk in the room, from a distance I can see, but dare I take a closer step?who would want a child like me? My smile they say, lights up a room. I'll be good as good can be. Oh, please dear God, let her want a special child like me. I don't even know this woman but she deserves to have someone help her because the roadblock she faces is that this little boy's birth certificate has been lost somewhere in the Bolivan court system. Ellen you are a kind and generous person who truly cares. I know we cannot save all the orphans, but we can help one child at a time can't we, if we all pull together and write letters, do something. Thanks for reading my letter. Love your show. Marilyn Lincoln.
To Ellen - the girl that lights up my day!
I am writing to tell you about my special daughter. At the age of 24 her knees started giving her problems and after four knee surgeries, she is actually worse. She is now 40 and still suffering. Some years ago she joined a rescue group for dogs hoping it would take her mind off her pain. At the time, she had two dogs of her own. For years she put her heart and soul into saving the animals. She went on puppy mill raids, set traps in places where dogs had been dumped, rescued dogs in shelters that had hours to live and always put her own pain in the background. She was the one foster home that would take the big dogs and because of that and the baggage they carried they were almost impossible to find a permanent home. When the pain got to bad and she stepped out of the rescue group and she had 13 dogs that were now her responsibility. They range in weight from 60 lbs to 110. One is battling leukemia, another has dry eyes which means she doesn't produce tears and she must drop her eyes all the time and yet the dog has lost most of her sight. There have been dog fights that have sent her and the animal to the ER They have had knee surgeries, allergy shots and the list goes on. Feeding is an enormous expense and every morning it takes her 45 minutes just to give them all their medications. They are brushed, trimmed, and toe nails trimmed on a regular basis. She is down to 10 dogs now and they are extremely lucky. They are indoor dogs and her home is always clean and odor free. Some sleep in bed with her while others have beds on the floor. With the expense of feeding and medical care she found it necessary to bring in more income. She has now started her own business. It is important to her to still be home with her "babies" so it is a pet care business that allows owners the opportunity to keep their animals at home. She just started in July and her customers couldn't be happier with her loving care. She gives up a lot personally because her "babies" come first. She has driven the same care for eight years and between the rescue trips, the vet visits and now her new business, it is getting pretty worn out. It is obvious what a big heart she has and she never complains about all the work it takes to meet her standard of care for the home and the "babies." I write you, because I know you have a special place in your heart for animals and especially animals in need. There are a lot of animals out there that is benefiting from her loving care. Even now she doesn't hesitate to catch a dog if it seems to be lost. She carries treats and leashes in her car just in case. The last one was dumped at a construction site and she did everything she could to catch it and finally jumped on it. Thank goodness her vet is understanding and he took it in until a home was found. I think her devotion is beyond belief so please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.
A proud Mom!
Hi Ellen,
My husband(Dain)and I thought the tiddy bear was so cute we sent for them. We received them and they are the cutest things. I checked it out by unsnapping it and the whole snap came off. I checked the other side and was disappointed there wasn't any thing holding it together. I checked the second one and it was fine.I am planning on writing them to let them know of this problem. I just hope they will send me another one. I hope no one else has this problem.
We love you and your show and we watch it every day.You are such an amazing person. Maybe one day we will get there to see your show.

Hi! Ellen
I love your show and have started watching every day (wish you had a morning show too). I just wanted to ask you one question "where do you get your energy"? I am turning 50 in August (1958 was a great year) and now am a "Domestic Goddess" with time on my hands without near the energy you seem to have. WHAT'S YOUR SECRET???
Keep smiling....Keep us laughing...You are a blessing...

Hi Ellen: I sent you an email some time ago during your Christmas give a way wanting to enter but couldn't because I could only get online at the library and they wouldn't let me enter. Just want to let you know that my wonderful sweetheart got me a computer for Christmas and I can get online any time I want now at home. Love your show and you. Keep dancing, making me laugh, and making me cry. I love to laugh but crying is good too cause its good for the soul. Thank you Ellen, you are a beautiful person for everything that you are and do. Kate
Ellen, I love your show and think you are one of the kindest and funniest people on TV. You are also very cute, which is why I can't understand why you always wear black or dark clothes. With your great complexion, I think you would look great in clothes with color. Please don't take this as a criticism, just a thought.
Also, I was reading other comments from today--can't believe the people who ask you for help. I think that is really RUDE.
Thanks for all the hours of laughter you give--and call Gladys again sometime!
Maria in Georgia
Hi Ellen, I love your show very much. I love the guess that you have on each day. My kids and grandkids and myself are Katrina Victims, we have lived here in Georgia since the storm. We were lucky to leave that Sunday Morning before the storm hit. We lived in the Lower Ninth Ward in New Orleans. My whole house was under water. Fema never acknowledged my kids application for assistant. I was given several thousands every few months for rental. They said that was for all of us (9). My daughter and her 2 childern went with HUD (God Bless them, HUD that is). My oldest son stayed in a FEMA Trailer, then he was kicked out with the other people living in the Trailer Park. He became homeless, I got him back to Georgia with my youngest son and his family. I feel that Road Home should have given the people in the Lower Ninth Ward the full amount of the Grant, to fix up their homes. If they want us back that should be addressed. Once again I want to thank you for all you have done. When you are blessed by GOD he will continue to bless all through you. Again love your show. God Bless You.
I would love for you to have a special Leap Year Birthday Bash. My daughter will be 40 on Feb. 29, but its only her 10th birthday and she would love to come and be in your show audience.
Several years ago she got me hooked on your show, when I was actually watching one of the other talk shows, I never went back. I tape your show all the time. Please have a birthday party for her and other Leap Year Babies, its only once every 4 yrs. Besides she has avery unique name. thanks from her mom
Ellen,
Hello. I love your show. I try to watch it everyday. You have done some amazing things with the funds you have raised for the victims of Katrina . It is a real shame that our government pours billions of dollars into "helping" other countries, but still can not figure out how to help the homeless and poor in this country. It is people like you whom have the money to donate to others that is keeping this country afloat these days.
I am interested in the Acadia giveaway. I heard you on your show tell people to write in as to why they should get the car. Here it goes.
I am a wife and mother of 3 wonderful little girls 12,6 and almost 2. My husband and I have been married 7+ years ( 8 in Aug). In these last 8 years we have been through multiple surgeries between the both of us (5). He has stayed home to take care of the kids while I went to nursing school and supported the family financially. My last semester of nursing school I had to drop out of as I found out I had cancer and needed surgery and radiation therapy. I am still in limbo as to whether I am cancer free. I am currently employed at a county facility as an LPN -Licensed Practical Nurse- as I can not afford to go back for my last semester to get my RN license. I love my job and my patients. I am the one who you'll find when they are actively dying, sitting at their side even when my shift is done, so they don't die alone. I should be working in Hospice, but without my RN I can't get a job in that field in our area.
Anyway, our car has 179000 miles on it and no room for the kids. We are in dire need of a bigger, reliable vehicle and have no financial means to get one. It would be really awesome if you were to pick me to win the Acadia.
Thanks for reading this,

Thank you for all your wonderful shows.
I would love Austin, to host an Ellen Show ~~~ we are a great mostly warm city - your presence would be a sensation!!

Hi Ellen,
I love your show . I saw it yesterday Feb. 5 and love the Tiddy Bears. I'm an old lady (74) AND short (4'9' and 3/4 ) I have a lot of problem adjusting my seat belt. Are these bears available any where for sale ? I live in the far north (Wis.) It sometimes takes awhile for new things to show up in the stores in my neck of the woods. We have so much snow right now they may have to come by dogsleds.
Wishing the best and keep up the good work. By the way, do you ever call Glagys any more ? I enjoyed that.
God Bless,
Jackie
Hi Ellen, every time I watch your show and when I see you come out of the doors all I can think is - AH MAN THAT WOMAN IS JUST BEAUTIFUL - in every way possible! I just love watching your show and you of course. A friend of mine gave me the movie If These Walls Could Talk Two - WOW talk about sexy!!!!! A fan forever up in Canada.Kim
Dear Ellen,
I love your show. You seem to have stayed down to earth, despite your fame, which appears to be difficult for most celebrities (sp?). Perhaps your Mom keeps you in line.
Anyway just want to say thank you for the laughs. We all need a little lightheartedness in our daily lives.
My Mom has her own little apartment within my home and I spend the 9 to 10am hour with her each day having coffee and breakfast. She has moderate alzheimers disease and is easily confused these days. However, she loves you and also Regis Philbin. The problem is, you are on opposite each other in our area so we alternate days. Though she doesn't realize it she always laughs more and seems to enjoy herself more during your show. (Sorry Regis) One of these days I'm going to get my cable set up to automatically record your show or spring for tivo so she doesn't have to miss your show.
Well again just wanted to say hi and thanks for the laughs.
Oh by the way, HAPPY 50TH BIRTHDAY. My husband turns 50 of 2/25/08 and my godchild turns 21 on 2/26/08.
Keep on dancing!
Fond Regards,
Pat

Suzanne,
Max Grabowski founded the Rapid Motor Vehicle Company in 1902 and was taken by General Motors (Company, GMC). 1912 the GMC truck was presented in New York. The name Truck was taken away in 1996.
Oral - B was invented by a dentist, Robert Hutson, in 1950 and was called Oral-B 60, because it had 60 bristles. That´s how B came over and not because Braun (Max Braun was the company chef later) sells them today.
Greetings to Canada from Germany.

Hi Ellen,
I love your show and all that you do for needy people. I would like to tell you my story. My 74 year old husband and myself (65) got married last December 07 and have not had an opportunity to live together yet. We are on Social Security and can't seem to get the money to move together. He only gets 700.00 and I get 700.00 and were are seperated by 85 miles which isent to far but both of our cars have about 100 thousand miles and the mountain pass is treacherous during the winter months. We have not seen each other for 3 months and dont know when the roads will be possible for us. We really need a new car and help to find a place to spend the rest of our lives together. Is there any possible way you can help us or anyone to talk to about our problem. We met online and dated for six months and got married. I live in Grants Pass, Oregon and he lives in Yreka, California. We are married for a year and two months and still living as single people. Sometimes we need help further than were able to go. Please help us to be together for what years we might have.
Thank you for taking the time to read my letter Ellen, all that stuff you gave away for Christmas we were sure wishing it was us because he has nothing in his apartment. Just a cot and no sofa or table so when I go down there we just sleep on the floor. We appreciate all the help you can give us.
Thank you,
Diane
No I don't know about that. What's up with the mask? Guess I'll have to watch and see, like that's ever a question. Well I won't be watching persay, having the old teeth drilled and don't know if I'll be back in time, but I'll be tapping and wacthing later in the day you can count on it.
Stay sweet, safe and healthy and I'll see if I can get back on to leave you a little something before the week's out.
Thank you for being so good at what you do. Alot of people depend on seeing you every day. You are the best.
Hello Ellen,
I just want to say that I love your show.I look forward to watching you every chance I get.
I wish that more people could be like you so kind , high spirted and giving. thanks for putting a smile on my face everyday . I hope that someday my path leads to meeting you in person. keep doing what you do best .
Hi Ellen, it might be a little late but who was "Big Package". It's always good to identify the unidentified. He/she did a great job dancing around and around.
Hi Ellen,I was in your audience last thursday for the taping with Jack Hanna. Unfortunately, I was out of town until Monday night. So I missed the show at 4:00p.m. Could I please make a suggestion, that when you have the audience come to see you, that you make available for sale the taping of that day. I would of love to have seen myself on your show even for 1 second. I was so proud to be part of it.You remind me of my favorite female comedian that red head "Lucille Ball" Keep on dancing!!!
Denise Lujan
Ellen, what does the B stand for in Oral B? And GMC stands for General Motors Canada?!?! Or at least I thought it did!
Suzanne from Canada
hey Ellen how are you? I'm doing great, love the show by the way, when you dance my 19 month old dances as well. Theres only the two of so we spend lots of time together. I was wondering if you can do something for me please, being i cant afford to go see you at ur show, i was wondering if for my 25th birthday, u can say happy 25th birthday ledzia shattler! aww my god that would make my day other than waking up to my daughter each day! it would be awsome, if you could say that i would feel famous! :) my birthday is on the 16th of february.! and if u cant do it well its fine! its still fun watching you!! keep up the great shows and amazing guests that u have on there. the story i like the most would have to be about the car jumping guy. awsome! ok take care ellen and crew!
sincerely, ledzia shattler
dear ellen. i watched the show on super tuesday, when you gave the car to the lady who lost her house. i heard them talking about how hard she was working and the long hours she put in, to try and get some of her life back. now, please do not take this the wrong way. i love your show, and i think you are a terific individual, for all the great things you have done for people. but with that lady working all thosse hours to earn money, i don't think a new car was the best gift for her. it will cause her insuance rates to rise and probably cost mor for gas. in the long run it seems that it would detract from her budget. please, i am just making an observation, and i don't mean to be critical.
thanks for some wonderful times. jesse.
I have a great idea!! I think you should combine all the things that you have been showing on your show the past few weeks. You should give away a Hawian chair, tiddy bear and a GMC all at the same time, but you should put the Hawian chair in the driver seat of the GMC and make sure they use the tiddy bear on the seat belt. You should always wear you seat belt while driving or using the hawian chair :) Set up a driving area way away from anything and see how well they drive with the Hawian chair as the driver seat :) On second thought maybe you should put the Hawain chair in an old car and if they can drive through some obsticals they win a GMC. I love your show and think it wonderful how you make people laugh and touch so many lives with all you do. Thank you Ellen for touching mine.
Hi Ellen,
My name is William, I am 4 years old and I watch your show every night with my mommy before we go to bed. You make me and my mommy laugh so hard. I had a dream last night about you sitting in the hawaii (sp?)chair. I woke my mommy up because I couldn't stop laughing at you. Guess what Ellen? I think I need to have my mommy buy a tiddy bear for my car seat belt. Maybe it will make the strap stay on. Thanks for showing it on your show.
I love you Ellen, you are my favorite show my mommy watches. Keep on keeping me and mommy laughing :0)
Hello Ellen.
I saw you for the first time a year ago. And though I usely (excuse my bad writing English) do not look at these kinds of shows - because of their lack of dept - I just in the same second saw a difference. If I was younger - I would have fallen in love with you before a glince of an eye.
For two reasons - I found you very nice and cute and at the same time beatyfull. and second - the show had a seriousity presentet in a humoristic and intelligent way.
That made me hooked at once.
My way of living make it difficult to follow your show as often as I would like - also for the reason that I see it rather luckely - tumbling into it on different kanals. This is the first time I hav had a chance to maybe locate where to look more often. I think you are very nice and empatic person.
Your sincerely

Hey Ellen
I just wanted to let you know you are a very funny and giving person. I never really started watching your show until I had an accident and could no longer work. 2 years ago I tripped over my dog and broke my neck. It left me paralyzed from the neck down but thanks to rehab and God I am now just partially paralyzed on the right side. I started watching your show in rehab and it would cheer me up. Now that I,m home I tape your show and watch it at night right before I go to sleep. And by the way I love games too. And thats one of the best things about your show. So keep playing and be funny so I can sleep at night.
sincerly,
Judy Bates
Hey Ellen
My name is Jonathan Kawakami and i will be 20yrs old on Feb 26. You might not know where the Marshall Islands is,but its where i live. Its a really small island, in fact the narrowest island in the world. You might find it scary that you can stand in the middle of the island and see both the lagoon and ocean side. Its really small. But i love it because its my home. I just want to let you know how much i love your show and i love what you do which is putting smiles on my face and all the people around the world. That is a huge honor. In my country we say "KOMMOL TATA," which means Thank you. I want to let you know that you are everywhere even in a small far away island and how much you inspire me. I wish i could meet you in person, but where i live is impossible. I'm leaving to attend college now, but i won't stop sending you mail. Kommol for everything you do and for being such an AWASOME person. Take care and ellen forever! P.S. one day i will get to meet the great Ellen DeGeneres!
Jonathan

Hi Ellen,
I just have to tell you how much I love watching your show. My sister was just diagnosed with breast cancer and I was really feeling down. I got a much needed boost after watching your show as I always do. You are such a wonderful person and so kind-hearted. Too bad the whole world isn'tlike you! It would be a much better place to live. Thanks for all the laughs and all of the good things you do.
Love you, Ellen!
Rose
Hi Ellen,
Love you, love your show, you make me laugh every day. Happy 50th birthday, I turned fifty last November. I didn't let my sister make a fuss, although now I'm kind of regretting it. I mean, it's a milestone and you should celebrate like there's no tomorrow. Of course, when tomorrow comes, you kind of feel silly, but... you get over it. Anyway, keep dancing... it looks good on you.

I had ordered a couple of tiddy bears for me and a friend. I wanted one for a trip coming up in may, which would do good for my shoulder. I got a reply today from the company stating:
This notice is to advise that due to the overwhelming response directly related to the Ellen Show, we have been on backorder. Both current stock and reserves have been depleted
The product has enjoyed astronomical sales after Ellen Degeneres presented the product as her “new favorite invention” on a recent episode of The Ellen Show. Since then, the Tiddy Bear website (www.tiddybearcomfortstrap.com) has received millions of hits and the company has been struggling to keep up with demand. The Tiddy Bear was created by Marcia Berk, a seven year Breast Cancer survivor and President of the Company, along with a friend.
