Ever since she met Chris Bryant, Ellen has become obsessed with car jumping. Sometimes she will run through the studio parking lot jumping over every car she sees. One time she even made it over a bus. "It burns more calories than my Hawaii Chair," Ellen insists. Now, to get warmed up for her show, Ellen likes to have a GMC Acadia parked just back stage so she can jump over it again and again. "I prefer the Acadia," Ellen adds. "Since it's kind of halfway between a SUV and a sedan, it's just the right height." Ellen likes to do her car jumping drills right up until the last minute before her show starts. I've been home recovering from hip replacement surgery since 1/3, so I have been able to watch the show. (Yeah, yeah, I know about TiVo). Turned 51 on 2/9 and I must say, I'm glad to be "in my 50's". Welcome! OK, the hip thing was a fluke. 50 is OK.
I can't say enough good about you, your show and the generous things you do. My cousin and I discuss you often and think you're the best! Oh yeah, she's 58 and has one fake knee and gets the other done on 3/17. She too is a fluke. Maybe it's genetic. Maybe it's the air in the Chicago area. Don't know, but 50 is good...really! Just wanted to say thanks for the new level of entertainment, and for raising the bar on talk shows. You're certainly unique!

Everyday I look forward to your smiling face. Today it was really needed. My 17 year old daughter found out she might not be able to graduate from High school this year as expected because we have had to move so much. She is devistated and I was feeling pretty low too. But thanks to you, for one hour I was able to laugh and put our troubles behind us. Hopefully you will be around to keep us laughing for many years to come. We love you Ellen, thanks!!

Always have loved you and your show. You are someone whom always makes my day! Especially now that I am on temporary leave for having my second bout with cancer, so you cheer me up every morning. I love the way you dance, and I hope to someday get to attend one of your shows in the near future! Still hopeful my prognosis will turn out good soon, will find out in a couple of weeks. Ellen I must say I love your show. I started watching you more offen when you did your Birthday count down this year. My Birthday is January 19th and my husband doen't understand the big deal but I have a party for my self and all my friends always come and we drink and act dumb as late as we can. (I am 38 and I would of swore you where my age if not unger. SERIOUSLY You do not look no 50.) ANd that is usually around 2:30am or 1:30 but is use to be 4 but have always told our husbands we got home at 12ish heheheheeee. I am going to try my hardest to get my friends and I tickets to some to your show for my 40th. So hope to see ya there. Sandy Beck

Hi Ellen! I wanted to start off by saying I look forward to your show everyday. I work at nights so I wake up a few minutes before your show starts a get my coffee going.It's you, me, and my coffee. It's the best way to start the day! You always make me laugh.
I do however have mixed emotions about a topic you have on your shows everyday.Games! Your probably wondering what I am talking about. I am happy for the winners, but must admit there is some jealousy there too. I'm not proud! I just want to know what it's like to win something. Especially something big like a car or a vacation.
A dream of mine lately would be to be on Deal or no Deal. One more question! What level are you on on Guitar Hero? I can't seem to beat medium.

I just saw Senator Clinton on your show and, it was great to see you in support of her. Please make it an official endorsement as she definitely needs the strenght of you and NOW in her corner. We women thought that Oprah would've endorsed her but, it didn't happen. Irregardless of the race of Senator Obama, he's still a man and, it's time that there is a Change for the better with a woman President. This will indeed be history in the making.
