Ellen you were right.
Today while I was watching your show I was making some Mardi Gras Decorations using some ribbon that had such fine glitter I didn't even realize it was there until I stood up and saw it all over my lap. So I just dusted it off. Later this evening my face and arms were itching so bad that I thought I was having an allergic reaction to something. Just when I was about to take some Benedryle I looked in the mirror and saw glitter all over my face and arms. As usual you were right.
Love ya,
Lori Gomez
Yes, Glitter can be a pain but it's fun too!
I have run a Daycare in my home for over 20 years and Glitter just adds Pizazz to a picture, especially at Christmas.
Although there is always a speck left on my face or on the floor, who cares?, it's a reminder of the fun you had using it!
And I love that joke about the lady cleaning her private parts before going to the Dr., not knowing her daughter had cleaned up Glitter w/ the facecloth!!! The Dr. was quite impressed when he went to give her a PAP!!!!!!!!!
Body glitter is the newest form of glitter that should be part of every gal's New Year's Resolution. My cancerous thyroid was removed last year and the scar on my neck looks as if someone tried to slice my head off! When a follow up body scan showed my body to be cancer free, I immediately named my scar, NED (No Evidence of Disease). Sense of humor is an invaluable cancer eliminator and I've decided to accentuate my scar with body glitter as a celebration to NED and to other thyroid cancer survivors.
2008 is my year to celebrate and I look forward to accessorizing with body glitter on every occasion I can come up with! Thank you for asking (our) opinion!
Happy New Year!
i work at an after school program and we are NOT allowed to work with glitter for two (2) reasons...1. it is messy and you can NEVER get it all up and 2. some autistic children have a ohysical reaction to it...it can make them act out.
i on a personal note do not like glitter because it SCREAMS, "hi i'm a 12 year old girl" and i am in fact not.
I agree with Ellen...even in the summer I find left over glitter on clothes. YUK!!!!It should be National Law to Ban the stuff...I know a couple lawyers, I'll have them get on this ASAP!
banned that glitter,i have saw enough glitter in my life and it whas not nice glitter that can i tell you
and when you wil see glitter trow a rocket in the air
My friends seem to think its such an amazing thing, me on the other hand not so much...
I guess its nice to have when you dress up...for Halloween.
I absolutely love glitter! Without glitter the world would probably look really boring. Here's a shout out for glitter...Stay sparkly!!!
I dislike glitter because when someone puts it in a card in the mail and you don't know it's there, then you open the card and whammo, it's all over the room!! Flies in the air, on the furniture, on the floor and on you. There should be a warning on mail "Beware of glitter!"
I agree with Ellen glitter is annoying you can't get it off. Even after washing. Little pieces just stay stuck on you or your rag.
I agree with the glitter being every where!! my son makes art projects at school he brings them home. There is glitter every where. On the couch on my clothes on the dog. Its as bad as the tincle from your christmas tree im still finding tincle "hehehehehe".It just never goes away!! Its like the plegue "hehehehehehehe"
Carol from Colorado

Ban the glitter now! Then maybe will be rid of it in a thousand years. Ellen's right. You can get rid of the stuff. It's everywhere.
