You Look Like You Really Need A Break!

Go ahead, treat yourself to Ellen's Game Room. You deserve it after all the stress you went through with that thing ...that was so stressful, and all the hard work you put into that ...project that ended up being way more work than you thought it would be. Seriously, you need to relax after that person got you so aggravated about that ...incident. You know what I'm talking about. Play a game. You'll feel better.

Hi Ellen,
From watching your show I've seen you make many dreams come true. I was hoping that you could help my boys High School baseball coach. At the end of the baseball season last year he was going to ask his girlfriend to marry him. But he became ill and after going to several docotors he was informed that he has cancer (non hodgkins lymphoma). They did finally get engaged at christmas but everything else is on hold as he fights cancer.
Coach Paris is very dedicated to these kids. He could have quit coaching but has stayed on due to his commitment to these kids. He comes to every practice he can even though he is going through so much in his personal life. The school is hosting fundriaser to help him pay for the treatment he needs. I was hoping that you could help the team help him and his fiance get married and fight his cancer.

Hey Ellen, I just finishing watching your Presidents Day show and I almost peed my pants!!! It was so funny when the ladies were trying to catch the marshmallows in their mouthes with the rubberbands on their faces. Just a couple of hours ago I had my tonsils taken out. I am a little drugged up right now but I told my husband to wake me when you came on. I was suppose to be in L.A today to go to The Price is Right show and then I was going to see if I could get stand by tix for your show. I waited 30 years to have these tonsils taken out: I had to practically stop breathing for a Dr. to finally take them out.I know, I should have had my priorities straight and went to see you first. I'll try again for tix on line. Thanks for making me laugh so much, and I look forward to sitting and relaxing and watching you while I recover. This will be the best part of my "vacation."

Valentines day is soon on us, So I figured I would send you a TRUE Love at FIRST SIGHT story.
I call my husband my mail order groom. Some friends and were having a sleep over we range from age 16 to 19, We played a game called describe your dream guy. When I was done describing my dream guy, my best friend shouted at me ( I KNOW THAT GUY.) I though she was full of it but I played along She said My guy was a friend of a friend of hers and she would get my dream guy to come and meet me. (He lived in Ohio at the time.) Well she did that, And The VERY FIRST TIME I LAYED EYES ON HIM I WAS IN LOVE. We

Ellen,
Happy Belated Birthday! I too will be celebrating my 50th in February. You bring so much joy in my families life. We lost our home in the October Wildfires in San Diego. We were fortunate to have an advanced warning. The hard part for our family was my husband had been a volunteer firefighter for 12 years and myself for 2 years. We were confident that everything would be ok. Not the case for us and many others in our rural neighborhood. I love how you focus on the positive. We helped a family financialy with the loss of their home since they didn't have inscurance. It's been difficult for us since we are usually the ones to be helping someone else. What you are doing for the families in New Orleans is so great! I'll continue to tune in for my daily dose of smiles and laughter. Paula Morrison

Ellen,
Your game room is fun, BUT after completing the puzzle, which was a tinny bit difficult, but not impossible; I then had a coronary from the loud noise coming from my otherwise quiet laptop. Needless to say it was no longer sitting on my lap. I think there needs to be some kind of warning label "WARNING FROM GENERAL DEGENERES: UPON SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETING NOISE MAY CAUSE A SERIOUS HEALTH RISK". Just really wanted to let you know I am enjoying the games and the entire web-site.

Oh Ellen, how are you? I am 59 years old, living in a small town named Harmony, population about 900 with a few hundred moose, and several hundred deer. I love it here, I work in small Pop store, Mom left along time ago, and if we don't have it, you don't need it.

I raised three wonderful children who are hard workers, responsible, well educated, citizens, they inturn have given me 4 adorable grandsons.

After caring for my dad I worked for a doctor who had lost his wife. I was his kids nanny, four of them, they filled in the empty nest syndrome. I love them as if they were my own.

At 50 I had a tat done while visiting my son in California, my husband was not real thrilled but then again I never thrilled him much any way. I left him and fell in love with the most wonderful man in the world, he has a total of 6 children all of whom seemed to never enter his world. Two of his sons attended our wedding and from then on their relationship blossomed. I am still working on his daughter.

Okay now Ellen, now you decide, it is my turn?

Warmest regards..Holly Witt, from Harmony, Maine

Hey there Ellen,
Peace.

Thanks for your daily witt, caring soul, and the intelligence that you share so willingly with the world.

I have twin daughters who will gradutate from high school in May. I have another daughter who is half way through 9th grade...They are all great kids who are very involved in sports, show choir and assorted school activities. My husband and I know we are blessed with them.

I need moral support....I already cry at the thought of my oldest twin daughters leaving for college...thank god, they did choose the same school. They are great young ladies and I am amazed at how great they turned out...what the heck am I going to do without them in my house?

Yikes.....any advice.
One daughter(Maggie) is interested in becoming a pediatric nurse, and Katie is going into Biology...shes not sure in which direction yet, either environmental science or researh..or medical.
A bad accident a few years back in which their father and I were hurt, especially their Dad, who broke a neck and was med-flighted to the nearest, best hospital....has changed them. They have always been grateful kids. Saying thanks for everything they ever receive...but now they are closer, and they have learned how important our little "family unit" is...they appreciate things more than most teenagers...I remember the way we all watched as their Dad picked up his guitar several months after the accident to see if his arms would play the way they used to...and their relief when he struggled through that first song. My husband and I are both teachers. We love working with kids. I teach second graders and he works with high school students 9-12 grades who are in writing, literature, drama, and public speaking classes. I tell you this because he sees lots of kids, from many backgrounds with varying abilities, and he can recognize how WONDERFUL all three of our daughters are. I love how he and I have been albe to work with our kids...It seemed that while we were definite partners in their rearing, I was more of a strength to them when they were smaller, and now his is...perhaps because he related to high school age kids all day, he can find ways to interect with our daughters more easily than me.

I am so PROUD of all three of my daughters, I think I know them well, and understand their personalities...their quirks, I wish they would listen to me and believe me when I tell them how proud I am of them...They typically don't take my word for it though....its like...they think I HAVE to say nice things about them because I'm their mom....well...thats not true...I tell them how proud I am because I need them to know how much they've taught me about myself...how brave they are...(like me), and how I have no doubt that they can and will become whatever it is they wish for .....They are the best thing thats ever happened to me...I am so proud to call them my daughters, and I know they can make a tremendous difference in the world...
GIVE ME A BREAK AND TELL THEM FOR ME! YOU...They will listen to...

Warm regards,
THanks for your time.
JEanette R. Danielson
