this is the first time i have ever written an email 2 u my name is Jen & i live in South Africa i started watching u about a year ago & also have my hubby Brad addicted 2 u now.. - i absolutely think u r just damn funny & fantastic - wow i hope u get this message.. how awesome would that be!!!!!!!!! i watch your show every monday wednesday & friday... on the series channel - but i watch show from 2 years back..

we r planning on renewing our wedding vows for our 10yr wedding anniversary & i really wanna go to Vegas (Never been to USA??) to do this but wanna stop by LA & hopefully b able to attend one of your fantastic shows with my hubby Brad..

Hi Ellen- I think I should win the car because my husband has been shopping for a car for 6 years and can't decide what he likes best. I have had 2 cars in the time he has been shopping. A car dealer bet a salesman that my husband, Mike, wouldn't buy a car (because he remembered him!) and won $20.00!!!! He visits car lots on Sunday morning and talks about what color to buy- constantly. He is now talking about the Prius or a Toyota Tacoma. If he won a car we could put an end to our misery. Love the show and watch every chance I get. I was having dinner at a friends house and you show came up in conversation. We all agreed how great it was. My friend Diane was telling us how her daughter Olivia, watches all the time. She wants to be on the show and was trying to figure out what unique thing she can do to get your attention. Well I have to tell you, she is playing play station to try and be the best at every game they have. Very cute. The question is "Is there something your working on that i could tell her to practise."?

Hey Ellen,
First of all I wanted to wish Portia a HUGE HAPPY BIRTHDAY :) Next I know you are going to think this sounds nuts but when I first moved to Florida back in 1995 (the first time) I had a visitor at my home and hung all of her clothing in my closet at the front door. I didn't think anything of it because why would I ????
Well this person went to get something to wear after her shower and low and behold her clothes were covered with little ants... I was so hysterical because it was just so funny to see the look on her face when she came and told me.
When I went to see for myself I could not believe my eyes, nothing like this had ever happened to me before.
I called my father-in-law who lived right next door and he told me to get a spray bottle and put dish detergent and water in it and spray the doorways and window area's real well so I did and low and behold it worked.
I did however have to rewash all of her clothing which was gross but at least it didn't happen again.
I know it sounds nuts but give it a try before you go out and buy some expensive product.
I LOVE the HELL out of YOU !!!!

About your ant problem. Place small piles of cornmeal where you see ants. They eat it, take it home, but can't digest it. So it kills them. It may take a week or so, but it will work.

Just realized my daughter cancelled your show on my TiVo - I was Pi$$d! Had to re program today ..heard you are geting better at the Guitar Hero III..I just started because my 6 yr old is good at it and I couldn't let that happen.

It used to be me my TWO Pugs Bernie and Joey and I but (I still cry to have to say it as I know you can understand!) My precious Joey died late Christmas evening! As you can imagine Bernie (who was with Joey since he was a puppy!)my husband Henry (who won your 3rd day of give aways! Thank You!) and I are missing and mourning him terribly!! Hi Ellen,
I have the solution for your ant problem. Go to Home Depot and purchase a product called Ortho Home Defense. You need to spray this product outside the perimiter of your house and anywhere inside where you see the ants. Once the ants walk on this stuff even after it dries they die. This product is animal safe also. I live in a rural area and get lots of spiders and other bugs that do not need to be in my home. I have used this product for many years and recomend it to everyone. GOOD LUCK!
