TUESDAY JANUARY 29TH - SCOTTO FAMILY

Today we're starting out with an incredible real life story. BRITTNEY STRONG heard three men breaking into her home so she hid in a closet and called 911. When the police arrived, one of the three men hid in the closet along with Brittney without knowing she was there. Brittney will join me Wednesday to tell us all what happened next. Then, we saw the Internet video of this 11-year-old expertly wailing away at "Guitar Hero 3." If you haven't seen him, you will not believe what KEVIN SHEN can do with a plastic guitar! Who knows, maybe Kevin and I will have a Guitar Hero-off? Plus, famous New York City Restaurateurs, the SCOTTO FAMILY, will be cooking something special. I don't know what it is yet, but I'll bet it's family style. And, one of my favorites, Grammy nominee ALICE SMITH, will perform one of the fantastic songs from her CD, "For Lovers, Dreamers & Me."

Hi Ellen!
I am a Mom of 5 month olf twin girls..we watch you every day! I loved the Scotto's family grilled cheese recipe-I'll take any recipe that takes less than 30 minutes to make....and eat for that matter :)
CAN YOU POST THE RECIPE PLEASE!!!

Nancy...take your cursor up to "show info" and don't click right away. You will see 9 titles listed underneath when the hand appears. The 7th title down is listed as 'recipes'. Click here and the Scotto recipes will be listed on the front page. You can then scroll down for more information. Good luck to you!

I love your show soooo much..BUT...you have a sick sense of humor....how could you show us the Scotto recipes and then NOT post the recipes..my mouth has been watering.....NOT FUNNY...i mean the pudding looked too good to be true, and the grilled cheese....well enough said..i mean i could go on and on and on and on (grin) but i shall just wait...don't things taste better if you wait(i sure hope so)well maybe when your not busy eating grilled cheese and pudding you could post the recipes (grin).

i loved your show on tuesday....i have looked all over your website for the clip where kevin shen plays guitar hero 3, but i cannot seem to find it. if you have some time, could you please post the clip...he is very good at the game

I went out yesterday and purchased $13.00 buffalo mozzarella cheese (it better be good), basil and some nice fresh ciabatta bread. My mozarella cheese expires in 3 days so I need to make the famous Scotto family grilled cheese sandwich this weekend! I'm pretty sure I know how to make it, but thought perhaps there could be some secret ingredient in this sandwich that I'm unaware of. Can you please post the recipe on your website. Thanks so much. The sooner the better.

Dear Ellen,

I'm a second grade teacher at Lake Primary in Louisiana. I was out sick Tuesday and heard the preview of Kevin Shen coming up. I recently played the game at my nephew's house and knew just how hard it was. I absolutely loved watching him play that song.
Today when I returned to school, I showed the kids the clip of Kevin playing Guitar Hero. They immediately forgave me for missing school and leaving them with the "meanest substitute ever".

Thanks for making me a "cool teacher". (At least for today.)
