Ok...here's the deal. I'm 46, not 50, not 49 or 48 or 51 but 46. 46 is good...you know...you've been there. But what is really cool is that 46 is the age where you start thinking about being 50. So, I'm starting now to think about what it will be like to be 50, and I think I could really learn alot from you. Now the other thing is...I'm disabled in my arms and hands, and so I can't do alot of things some 46 (thinking about being 50) year old people do. But...my legs and feet work fine, so I CAN dance. I think one thing I could really learn from you would be the dance of the 50 year old. Then I would have time to practice for when I turn 50.(especially if there isn't alot of arm movement required) Also, I think it is very important to have someone from every state in your 50th birthday audience.... so I will campaign for being the Kansas delegate. You're the greatest Ellen, and even if I don't see you on your 50th, Happy Birthday to the most wonderful daytime talkshow host ever! And congratulations on the Peoples Choice Award....you so deserve it!!!

Happy Birthday!! I can't believe you are going to be 50. YOU LOOK SO YOUNG!! not a day over 35 seriously. I am not saying that so you will call me up and invite me to come to your party. lol.

I love you, I love your show, I tape it everyday and tell everyone to watch you instead of oprah. You make us laugh not cry. :) I have been watching you since your sit com. I remember the episode when you went to a spa and they put cucumber on your eyes and you were so hungry you ate the cucumber it was so funny I laughed so hard I cried.

Any way I know you have 1000's of fans that would kill to be on your birthday show. I have been racking my brain trying to think of a clever way to get your attention. You are such a giver, I just love it when you give things to your audience and or your guest. Your awesome.

I was wishing I was turning 50 on your birthday but my birthday was in september the 22nd and I just turned 45. So that won't get me in. lol.

Well I sure would love to be at your party and dance with you. So if you are reading this thankyou and what the heck why not me???????????

I think I have a great idea for your 50th birthday!!!! Have you ever been skiing? It's fun and would be hilarious with YOU! We could have you so well-padded to protect your back, knees, etc, get you on the bunny hill(with ears to match) and keep you away from all the trees. We could plan a big slumber party in a hotel or house and hit the slopes the next day.Just draw names of your biggest fans (also Aquarians) and of couse me (since I'm your number one fan) and hey, let's do it. We are spontaneous, we are Aquarian!We could tell silly stories and then laugh till we cry out there skiing..of course while the cameras are rolling. I have to say I have never laughed or cried so many times this year. I will soon be 43 (also Aquarian). I lost my last living immediate family relative (my Dad and best friend) last year but thank you for just being on tv every day and making me laugh....well, my dogs make me laugh too. Oh and before I forget, you've saved me lots on money on grief counseling!

Happy 50th birthday. I turned fifty 2 years ago. I planned my party the same day as my daughter's baby shower, that I also planned. We did the baby shower in pink {she was having a girl} and my party in black with the left over pink deco. We made homemade ice cream sundae candles for the tables and had a Elvis impersonator. It was a great day. I hope you have a great birthday. Dance, dance, dance to your birthday and remember you will always have pictures.

Oh golly g Ellen. What I can tell you about turning 50.
In your mind, you think you are still spry enough to be able to still do the things you have always done, but I hate to tell you, your body does slow down. Then the wrinkles start to set in.
But on the other hand, you don't have to worry about that time of the month anymore.
I wouldn't go back in time for anything.

Hey girl, Happy Big 50. You sure don't look it. I'll be hitting that number next year (2/7/09) and I hope I still look as good as you. Also, take care of your back because when that goes, pretty much everything else but your looks go too. I wish I could be there to buy you a shot of tequila, but being as I can't, I'll have a shot while I'm watching your B-day show.

Hello from Honeymoon Bay, BC Canada! I just wanted to wish you a Happy 50th Birthday! My mothe-in-common law(Jo) just turned 50 on November 11th(Rememberance Day) and she has decided to do 50 new things this year! Shouldn't be too hard right only 1 new thing a week! Well that would be 52 new things so I guess she can take a couple weeks off ;) Maybe you should do 50 new things this year too! You can compare lists and maybe even do a few of the same things... what do you think? Anyway, have a fantabulous 50th birthday!
