My husband & I love your show! My mom and I watched it every day before she passed away. You always make us laugh. I had a similar experience like one of your posters I read on your page. My mom had a similar health problem as hers only on top of being on dialysis she was being verbally and mentally abused by my sister and her husband that she was living with. They tried to make her believe she was mentally unstable so she would sign everything over to them and they would dump her in a nursing home to leave her. After being frightened for her safety, she asked if she could live with us and we gladly did! They cut ties with mom and the rest of the family and to top it off....my sister, her husband and daughter CHOSE not to attend mom's funeral! To top THAT off they're telling everyone they were not told of her passing....sad huh? Family and friends at the funeral were stunned, but weren't too suprised about it since they all commented that sister, brother in law and niece were always a little "out there"! I'm so glad to be rid of the mean, bitter, and hateful cloud that they put over themselves and everyone near. You Ellen are what made us laugh these miserable feelings away and to KNOW there are true family and friends that have your back because of love and not money! Thank you so much for being the fun loving and outspoken wonderful person you are! Nancy

Hi Ellen! Happy Birthday to a very special person!!! I have spam mail, so if your show sends me a reply, I probably won't get it! I have so many different jobs and therefore I tape your shows then my daughter and I sit and watch them back to back and laugh all night! Everytime I think one is my favoite, you go and top that one! This email is just for your eyes only, please. I do not wish that this email go any further. I must tell you that I have had an extreme rough patch and you have helped me get through it. Three years ago my mother had a surgery that shut down her kidneys. I took her in because she would have died in the nursing home and they didn't have her on a strict renal diet. I am not tooting my own horn, but she went from wheelchair to driving and walking! My brother was very proud of me, but my sisters were jealous. Things got ugly as they rooted in my mother's mind that I was out for her money. I had quit my job to take care of her and this is the thanks! She now lives with my sister in another town, but since it got really ugly-they do not speak to me. That is okay, because I have found peace in knowing I did nothing wrong and I did all I could. I have gotten closer to God and my family and have established a great relationship with my brother's family. He is my rock along side his wife and of course my husband whose idea it was to bring my mother home anyway after KNOWING how she felt about him! What a prince! My family (except my brother) had deep problems and were negative people. I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off because of no contact with them. I have new jobs and though I work my butt off, I feel fulfilled doing what I do. My main love is music and one day I would love to write lyrics or a script. Your show has made me laugh again and alot! Jeff Corwin is a treat! All the other shows are so stuffy and I just want to laugh, dance, and watch people get excited and happy! When you gave the family the trips to all of the Disney parks- whoa! I cried. That was so great! The family that brought their son to see you and was in the rif raf room- again I cried! You do care and not just to make yourself look good. You are genuine and I think Ryan Seacrest said it best. Happy birthday, Ellen. I hope all you want and all you get are the same! God Bless you!!!! Love, Maribeth Rakers and daughter Shelby (major fans!)
When I turned 50, I thought I would die. If I could only dance like (and with) you. My life has been difficult but I would not change one ex-husband. I've been married 11 times. What a wonderful life I've had. And to think; some women had a difficult time finding the first husband! They need to talk with me. Women don't need husbands, they just need to get off of their butts and get a job!

Ellen,Happy Birthday. I'm so glad you could do your 50th in style, you deserve it.When I turned 50 last year,I had just had hip replacement surgery and 3 weeks after had to take care of my Dad who had a triple bypass. So needless to say no party bash for me.
I've watched your career for years and I'm so glad you found your peace. You are so generous and sweet,I'm so proud of you.
