Today In Ellen History

On this day in 1967, Ellen sings the 50 states song for her class. No one notices that she adds South Virginia as one of the states and forgets to include Ohio.

On this day in 2006, 3 year old Isabella Natallini cracks Ellen up when she sings “The 50 States Song,” It becomes one of the most beloved moments from the show.

As soon as I saw this video I thought it was amazing! She is only 3 years old! This is so amazing. I like the peisodes of Dakota Fanning. I loved watching her grow up!
So.. Anyway.. That coems to show how much I love your show!.. alot!

Ellen i lost my sweet potato cake recipe it was a recipe given to me when i lived in texas put ot by the gas company so i searched the web and found your sweet potato cake recipe it was more like the one i lost than others i found i baked it for Thanks giving using two layers and keeping the third layer for my husband and me needless to say the cake is great and i dont mind losing mine so much wanted to share that with you Shirley Hamby

I agree. You should do a show with the kids. Something like Art Linkletter did back in the 60s? Do you remember? You would be great.

I used to TIVO Dr. Phil, but after that debaucle with Britney, I've decided to watch something much more fun and enlightening. I am now TIVOing Ellen instead!

I remember you when you played a receptionist on a show with Jack Lemmon's son. It was set in a real estate office. I guess you remember it too..but I wonder how many others do??

i love your show.it help bring some comfort when staying with my mama who was fighting with breast cancer.the little children on the show are the sweetest.they let you know that life indeed goes on.if it weren't for my grandchildren i just don't how i would have made during mama's death.my youngest grandson holden helped me alot with mama.he would hold her hand when i had to give her shots.holden is just 6 years old.also he loves to see the dancing on your show.he likes to shake his bootie. thank you ellen for bringing laughter in the world.
