On this day in 1967, Ellen sings the 50 states song for her class. No one notices that she adds South Virginia as one of the states and forgets to include Ohio.

On this day in 2006, 3 year old Isabella Natallini cracks Ellen up when she sings “The 50 States Song,” It becomes one of the most beloved moments from the show.

Hi, Ellen.

My name is Dayne Dwarika and guess what I'm from Trinidad. I am twelve years old. I watch your show everyday and I enjoy it so much. I wish I could see a live show. I must compliment you on a good job, keep up the good work. You make me laugh even when I feel down.

Bye Dayne

Eleen, you are so delightful as you give all shining moments there place, as with this little girl. Thank you for being you and allowing her the chance to be all she is at the great age of three. You, would make a great friend for all

how cute isabella i wish i could do that and by the way ellen you are cute! cough, cough! haha, lol!

Never wrote to any one before but we LOVE you in our family. You are the funniest and kindest ever. Maybe you and Rosie are tied. Keep up the great work ; love you.......

I laughed through this whole clip. The little girl is addorable and it takes a kind heart to interact as well as you do with children. Kepp up the good work and your funky style I LOVE IT

Dear Ellen

I thought of a new game to play on the show. My 3 year old, Emmi, has been begging me to buy her a "Hoppy Ball" you remember, the big blow up balls with the handle on top. I finally bought her one and it has been a barrel of laughs watching her try to stay on this thing. My idea is to have contestants get on a hoppy ball, dressed like super heroes, and try to hop through an obstacle course, maybe blind folded. Let the games begin! These balls are fun!

Love ya!
