Today In Ellen History

On this day in 1967, Ellen sings the 50 states song for her class. No one notices that she adds South Virginia as one of the states and forgets to include Ohio.

On this day in 2006, 3 year old Isabella Natallini cracks Ellen up when she sings “The 50 States Song,” It becomes one of the most beloved moments from the show.

I'm in the eleventh grade, and I can honestly say I can't say all fifty states in order...or at all. But I am capable of saying all of the South American countries and their capitals. But I didn't even learn that until the sixth grade. And I have never even been to South America, and I have lived in the United States for my entire life. I give props to that little girl. She's so adorable. I'm going to teach my four year old sister how to do that, but i have to teach myself how to do that first!
