Hey Ellen

Im from Dinuba, California and are 17 yrs old and I love your show. I just wanted to tell you that you are a big influence to me because of the way you are. I got one question for you how come you dont ever talk about your girlfriend?

My wife, Sharon, and I want to wish you the best of things for your 50th birthday. We have watched you since your time on Johnny Carson. Sharon loves watching your show so much, that she GAVE UP watching Judge JUDY, which is shown here at the same time on another channel. To me, she is the "ultimate
worshipper" to you and your show.
Enjoy the honors we all bestow upon you, for you are,TRULLY the GREATEST!!! Tom G.

Hello Ellen and Happy Birthday. I can't believe that you are turning 50! I just want to say a pray for you. We thank God for you and your life and being able to touch so many people. I pray that this year be the most blessed and fun filled year of your life yet. God Bless.

Hello Ellen
My wife Kirsten and I are both emergency nurses of 12 years. We also have the passion to own a business and have recently took everything we own and jumped in head first. Kirsten is a lab rat and has formulated a skin care line of all natural products. The company is called The Natural Skin Empire. We also have an addiction to tattoos and I am currently working on bilateral sleeves and Kirsten is having a national award winning artist (Lee Burns) complete a traditional Japaneese piece on her entire back. It is totally awesome. We have a product line called TATAU ULTIMATE TATTOO AFTERCARE and it is an all natural tattoo skin healing process. Last year we traveled the country doing promotions at tattoo conventions and every shop we could find. We would love to send you our products to have fun with as we also have merchandise such as shirts, beanies, etc... We combined our love for tattoos and our passion for medicine and created what we think is the most unique product on the market. We are also a main sponsor for the Treasure Valley Rollergirls here in Boise Idaho and have alot of fun with this. If you would be interested in a ton of free swag, we would love to get it to you. You can contact us via TATAUTATS.COM or NATURALSKINEMPIRE.COM. We thank you in advance and look forward to your response.

Hi Ellen:
From Sabana Grande, Puerto Rico, our Best Wishes on your 50th birthday!!!Hope you enjoy a lot on your day.

Dear Ellen,

I saw somewhere on the website that if you knew someone that mad you smile or someone that made people happy bla bla bla...to write in and tell their story.
You know what Ellen? Its YOU that makes me smile and happy 5 days a week! Infact I cant wait to get home from work tonight( lol...yea, I got it like that and have some down time to hop on the internet!!!)and watch the show! THIS IS DAILY!
Im especially anxious to get home to see the show because its your Kids week! Oh, and little Emily Bear (sp) is the ticket! SO SO SO adorable!!! Personality...smile...and her talent are unmathced! It was so cute when the camera zoomed in on her little hands and seeing those little fingers tickle the ivories like the CHAMP that she is!!! LOVE EMILY! Its really neat how you sometimes have the little ones come back on the show a year or so later...to see how they have grown and to see their progress in whatever it is they do is simply the best entertainment on earth!

On days when I may be a little down, sad or feeling bad, I know that all I have to do is turn on the Ellen show! POOF! The blues are gone and my day is brightend immediately!

Much love to you and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Bill

Hi Ellen wanted to wish you a happy 5oth birthday
i hope all you wish come to true!! from your friend and viewer connie from porterville, ca

Ellen, I have just signed up for a e-mail address and I wanted to drop you a line. Recently a very nice couple have donated an older computer to me and my children are trying to teach me how to use it!! So I hope this note actually gets to you?? I watch your show often, my 16 year old son loves to watch you as well. It's fun for us to watch you together. I'v told him how funny you were in your sit-com as a book store owner!!! ( a blast from the past I know but I loved that show!) anyway I have been on your web-site and have read soooo many comments that people have made both good and indifferent to various subjects posted on your site. I wanted to have a turn as well.
I would like to tell you that as a single mother of 13 years of three children, a college student, and holding a couple of jobs at all times I rarely ever have time to spend just "FUN" time with my children as I am always trying to shuttle them to and from various activities before and after school!! I feel as though I have lost part of myself slowly over the years. I made a promise to myself and my only daughter who's almost 14, that this is going to be our year just for "girl stuff". She has a medical condition that has put a damper on some of our past "To Do List" idea's. She had a sugery that we hope will not have to be repeated, since her recovery all has been well. We're ready for an adventure now, However I am trying to figure out how other single mom's out there manage to do "Super Duper Fun" things with their children and still manage to financially and time management wise to keep their heads afloat?? Am I doing something wrong? I'v also noticed that in daily talk shows or shows like "The Nanny" or "Dr. Phil" "Oprah" that thare are not episodes in regards to Single motherhood and the good and bad. Perhaps other mom's out there are not nearly as stressed out as I am but I for one could sure use some advice from some other wise mom's. It's just a thought for perhaps a show in the future. I really just wanted to tell you how much we enjoy your sense of humor (especially being surrounded by an entire family whose idea of a good family get together is eating mexican food and watching all the back episodes of "The Office" !!) I wonder where they have learned to enjoy such dry humor? hmmm.... anyway please keep being so real on your show, it gives a gal like myself here in Traverse City Mi. something to look foward to (especially on the cold snowy grey days/nights here!)Well I will sign off now by saying that I think it's wonderful that you are so thoughtful and caring towards others and animals too. I'v adopted many wonderful pets over the years and the latest has truely been an awesome addition to our family. A lil doggie named "Gus".
Well Happy Birthday anyway!! I hope your wishes come true.

Take care,
Kimberly

Happy Birthday Ellen, I called and left a phone message, but did not leave my name:oops. I was nervous just leaving you a phone message you probably wouldn't hear anyway. I absolutely love you, I'm a huge fan and would love to meet you someday. You are my most favorite person; that I don't actually know. Although I think you are a wonderful, loving person. I admit, though silly, I have a crush on you. Have you ever read Chaucer? The actual story is not relevent, but a particular verse I do like: "We woman have a curious fantasy in such affairs, or so it seems to me. When something is difficult, or can't be had, We crave and cry for it all day like mad. Forbid a thing, we pine for it all night, press fast upon us and we take to flight".LOL, Sandy
