My Thought...And I Do Have One

My guest today, Dr. Wayne Dyer, was so filled with wisdom and insight that I would like to turn over my thought for today to him. I think it's great that his positive thoughts are also funny ones.

One more thing, in today's politcal environment we are being told words "don't really matter", there is no statement that is more false. Words matter, love in one another matters, " in a world where there is no matter....." ( time for Dr. Dyer to laugh at that one ), God bless, as he has and always will,

Wayne Dyer is a phenomenom! His guidance and his expression of love is inspirational. When I was young, the Vietnam war was everday's headline, I spoke with my Father about the war and how I just don't understand why we are there. He served in WWII, enlisted at 18, I was looking for an understanding. We had a good talk, but I just didn't understand "WAR". To me, sooner or later, we decide to NOT fight and find resolution, so why not STOP and resolve. I thought I was nuts for thinking this. About a year ago, I was reading Mr. Dyer's words and found him discussing the same thoughts. How war made, " no sense... we are one... God is GOOD( one letter away ).. he's given us abundance... what would God do?....think like God...end arguments by saying that's okay, I love you anyway... and on and on and on and on...". This man is an incredible person, humanist that understands deep committed love of the gift of love. I also understand this, many people will advise to "move on", " go on with your life ", Mr Dyer tought me to "MOVE IN, move into your life " ,what a wonderful, wonderful perspective and I love his insight, this is a great man, God is proud of all his work, this man is another "Masterpiece". I hope someday to meet him.... but as he would say, " I already have met him, and know him, we are one ". Many, many thanks, Clif

You are so not 50! Fifty is Gladys Kravitz! Thank you for making me laugh so much (way better than martinis in the afternoon... not that I've ever done that, of course). XO Tracy

Dear Ellen or Staff, I was really taken in by your guest Dr.Dyer. My daughter suffers from depression and anxiety, and after therapy and many different prescription medications, there is minimal improvement. I did not catch the title of Dr. Dyers' book. Could you please have someone forward that information to me. I think it would help my daughter a lot. Thanks for all you do. You touch so many people. You even make my husband laugh, and he never laughs. Thanks again, Dee Dee

Hi Ellen !!!
First of all I would like to wish you a Be-lated Happy 50th !!!! You look great!!!! I would also like to thank you for your gift of laughter, you are a dose of medicine for me everyday and when I do miss your show my day just isn't the same. Thanks Ellen! One show i am glad I did not miss was the one with Dr. Dyer. His words of wisdom made me anxiously want to run out and get his book. I have been unsuccessful in finding it. Do you know what bookstores would carry it? I don't get out much due to chronic pain so knowing exactly where to go would be a great help. Thanks Ellen!!! Keep laughing and keep on dancing!!!!

Hi Ellen,

Happy Birthday! Although this came in late, I still want to greet you just the same. I watched your show last night and I believe it's a delayed telecast since I'm here in Manila, Philippines.

I feel fortunate to have watched your show last night featuring Dr. Wayne Dyer. I was so touched by his wisdom that the first thing I did was to get a copy of any of his books. Unfortunately, our local store don't have them. I wish you can help me find one. My husband is in LA, Calif. and I have posted his address in my personal info which I submitted to you.

Well, all the best to you, Ellen! Wishing you great health and abundant blessings.

Ellen
I tried to send this Friday but had trouble with my e-mail. So belated Happy Birthday.

Just had to let you know how much I enjoyed Dr. Wayne Dyer. Please have him on again and again. I discovered him 8 years ago when I really needed some inspiration (Like Gladys, I love Jesus but a drink a little.) As Dr. Dyer often quotes, "the teacher will come when the student is ready." I continually re-read all his books (they always seem to have a new message) and I have seen his PBS specials many times.
I'm so glad you have discovered him. What could be better than Wayne Dyer and Ellen Degeneres!

Thanks for all the enjoyment you bring to us.

I absolutely loved Dr. Wayne Dyer. I wished he didn't have to stop talking. It is so true that we have categories for everyone in our lives. I can't wait to get his book and start reading it. I teach 1st Grade Catholic Religion and I am even guilty of categorizing people in my own life. Maybe I'll learn how to make everyone united. My birthday is in March and I added the book he spoke about to my Birthday Wish List. Hopefully I'll get it.
Love you and love your show. Happy 50th!!!! Fortunately (haha) I'm not nearing that age yet.
Love ya, Linda in Delaware

Thanks so much for providing laughter to us. The last two years have been rough for me losing two close loved ones. You were my pick me up on those days that there wasn't much to smile about. I have tried to make others smile to continue the cycle. Laughter is an amazing healing process. Each day you are a part of my healing. The world can be a bit chilly now and then and turning your show on provides warmth, comfort and laughter. You will always hold a special place in my heart. May your kindness and happiness spread all over the world. What a great place and thanks for your contribution. Have a wonderful birthday. Mine is one week later then yours. (I am two years ahead of you). I wish for you the blessings of happiness and love. Love ya, Cindy

Hi Ellen,

You were speaking to Paige Davis about how important the messages from your fans are to you and I wanted to express what a positive part of my day you are. I am on maternity leave at the moment, after the birth of my son Nathan and I look forward to your show each day. It is true that we have a choice to be positive or negative in life, and your positivity is truly contagious. You are an example of how good energy can be circulated to make wonderful things happen.

All the best and Happy Birthday,
Shannon
