We're sure you remember 6 year-old Cody McCasland, the double amputee from Colleyville Texas who finished a marathon to raise money for the hospital that has been helping him. Cody sent along a super cute birthday greeting for Ellen and here it is.

im a fifteen year old girl i just love your show i have to ride my hectic bus for an hour so i cant see at the normal time but my mom records iti have to say i was shocked when i found out that you were turning fifty i thought you were like twenty so have a great birthday!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately, I will probably miss your Firday, Birthday show, as I am have arthroscopic knee surgery for the 2nd time late that morning. But I would like to wish the bestest of birthdays for you.

Thanks for a great show. I enjoy watching you every day. My birthday is Jan. 25 Having recently retired, I am looking for somewhere warm to spend a few weeks. Maybe I'll come to LA and see you. It's a long way from Alaska and hopefully warmer.
