We're sure you remember 6 year-old Cody McCasland, the double amputee from Colleyville Texas who finished a marathon to raise money for the hospital that has been helping him. Cody sent along a super cute birthday greeting for Ellen and here it is.

Happy Birthday, Ellen! Thank you for keeping the dancing segment on your show. It keeps my one-year-old entertained so that I can watch the show and not have to turn the channel to Barney. It also gives us a few minutes of exercise that we might not get otherwise since it is freezing out here!

Hi Ellen, Did you get my "enchanted" birthday card with the tabby cat doing your birthday dance? It took me 2 days to find, cut out and glue so I could make you smile. You know, the "right back atcha" type smile. My husband and I came out to Pasadena from 12/27 until 1/5/08, but you weren't taping so we couldn't be in your audience. However, from Highway 134 in Burbank, I could see the big Ellen sign, and I got so excited! Last August I quit my job (of 24 years) so I could stay home to watch your show, and I have not been disappointed. You're sweet, kind, loving, beautiful, funny as can be, a role model, so very talented and a God Send. Do you feel like an English muffin? I was just buttering you up, but with only the truth.
