Hey Ellllllen!!!
I just got done watching your show and just like always you had me laughing. I am actually just about to go to the nearest party store to get some vodka! You look like you know how to have a good time and you take shots like you've done it once or twice. Infact after every shot that you took you had no facial expression at all! That to me is very hard to do and actually when I do take a shot I like to hide my face so others can't see me b/c I know my facial expression is not so attractive. So anyway I guess what I am trying to say is congrats, b/c that's a good talent! But really, I would looooove a giants shirt so tell me how I can get one!!
Anyways...off to party!

recently sent post, but must not have been received by you?

Dear Ellen,

My husband Rafel is indeed the biggest Patriot fan there is. The first superbowl he drove all the way there and shaved his head! Yes, you read that correctly. He painted it silver for the game. He has driven to each location of each superbowl...tickets or not. Game day is an event at our home. Everyone has to have a jersey on: Rafael, our son Nicholas(6) and our son Marcus (3). Everyone is required to sit and watch the game. I don't think a game has played that I didn't hear "we're going to the superbowl" and "your watching history!" On the days of the game we are not allowed to have any guests because he needs "to focus on the game." He begins pacing before the game and is up and down throughout the game. Yelling, loud clapping and lots of other annoying habits are displayed during the games. My sons have began to run when the Patriots score because they know their dad will throw them into the air and scream "touchdown Patriots!" Oh yes, he does it every time! This behavior starts from the first play of the game throughout the whole game. There have been occasions where we were somewhere else and the game was on (his brother's 40th bday party) and he had a huge group of family members all riled up and changed into his jersey. His screaming and excited behavior throughout the ENTIRE game and afterward, is enough to award him as the biggest fan. His quote to everyone not a fan of the Patriots, "we are all Patriots!" Nobody is allowed to kid about our children possibly liking another team...it just isn't an option. My husbands dream is to move to the Boston area where he can be a part of the Patriots, Red Sox and Celtics. He lives football and talks about it all year up until the season starts! PLEASE Ellen, for the love of God, get him out of hear for the superbowl game. Or better yet, let us share the excitement as a family! :) Tickets would be greatly appreciated...his enthusiasm would speak for itself. Oh, did I mention he has taken our 6 year old all over the place to watch the Patriots play? Fan is an understatement...he IS a Patriot.

Go Tom (Brady), go!

Hi Ellen! Nope, I'm not a fan of football but I love tennis or chess or bingo lol. I love animals too like you do. Thank you for inviting Jeff Corwin, Bindi Irwin and her mom on your show. Those animals I've never seen before are just lovely. And since you love animals just like I do, I just want to ask you if you can invite Amelia Kinkade to be on your show. I'm not sure if she's been on your show already coz I just started watching your show last year. Amelia Kinkade was an actress now she is an international animal communicator. She is like the Dr. Wayne Dyer of the animal world. I've been reading her old book "Straight from the horse's mouth"; it's just amazing. And I'm trying to learn myself how to communicate with animals as well. The book is great. And I've heard she has a new book out "Language of Miracles" (if I remember that title correctly). Or how about Caesar Millan of "Dog Whisperer"?! I totally love your show coz it's like a variety show, we get to see lots of cool acts, great performers, amazing people, ordinary people with stories to tell, new talents, etc. Thank you again & much love.

HAPPY BiRTHDAY ~~~~PORTIA!!!!! (^,^)

My daughter Jade is a huge fan of the New England Patriots! She's never missed a game, and Tom Brady and Randy Moss along with the rest of players are posted all over her walls. Although she is a huge fan she has never been able to see them play live, considering we live in Houston, Texas. Her sweet sixteen birthday is coming up on February 29 and her dream is to meet Tom Brady. Her father and I do not believe that we will ever actually be able to make that happen without help, that's why we turned to you Ellen. Hopefully you will take this into consideration and make her biggest dream come true! Best wishes to you!

The Super Bowl was in Jacksonville, Florida where we live but we couldn't afford it. You are too cool giving away tickets and all of the free stuff to your audience. I hope you are on the air for at least the next 10 to 20 years! You will be too cute as an old lady!

Ellen,

I hear Stubs will be at your show Friday and will be passing out Taste of Texas CD's. MFN has a song on this CD. The drummer, Wesley Malone, is the son of one of my dearest friends. Please mention them on show Friday and encourage everyone to check them out!!!! You won't regret it!!

Hey Ellen Happy Birthday to you and your Girlfriend. I want to tell you that since I've moved down here to Albuquerque NM, I have missed New York sports so much that I am willing to go back to a place I hate living at just to watch a Mets game or a knicks game. I have never seen the Giants Live in a stadium. But this yaer I was planning on going to Pheonix since it is so close to us (six hours) just to tailgate at my favorite teams big game that we have been trying so long for('95) to get and now we are going to put those pats to shame I know it, you know it, and so do all those for the Patriots know that the G-Boys are Champs. So wheather or not I get chosen I will be in Pheonix at the bar right down the street in Glendale watching the game as close as I can get. I'm even going to surprise my work and call in sick. I got plenty of sick leave for that plus, I think I deserve it because I am helping you with your ant problem during a time of flooding and natural disasters. I left you a suggestion, but if you don't get it use Cinnamon and poof they will be gone. It doesn't kill em they just hate ground cinnamon. Thanks Mike

end entry

Hey Ellen!!! I hope all is well I was just writing you because I feel as if my boss James is the biggest Giants fan known to WISCONSIN. so you see he should be a huge packer fan right well wrong....James is by far one of the biggest giants fan. How you may ask....well the Friday that the packers played NY we had a team vs team day. James was the only brave man to be wearing his giants clothing. Talk about being brave and then....he decided to bring all of his giant stuff to work and decorate the whole bank. Blankets, hats, helmets, kleenex boxes, giants parking signs you name he brought it. Talk about a big giants fan James hasnt taken down his xmas tree in fear he could jinx his team. He rides around with giants flags on his car. His house is full from top to bottom with what I would like to call "junk" since I am a packer fan. I will leave you with a little note even on his honeymoon he paid his wife to go pamper herself so he could watch his boys play. Please let him watch the giants!!! Thanks

end entry

Hi Ellen

This is Greg Barbo of East Rutherford, NJ.
Iv'e been going to Giants games since i was three years old and have still been going to this day. My Father and Uncle went to the Green Bay Packer game against the New York Giants. Giants football isnt just a hobby it's a religion. Patriot Fans dont know what they are talking about they dont have a history like the Giants. The Giants are going to win the Super Bowl and end the undefeated season.

end entry

Hi Ellen,

First of all, you rock. Secondly, I REALLY REALLY REALLY want to go to the Superbowl. I don't have a tragic life story and I am a happy person, but I just really love the Patriots. I am a native Rhode Islander living in New York because of work and I take a lot of razzing at my job because I live, eat and breathe the Pats. I have a Patriots tattoo on my back and my whole apartment is Patriot themed. I also have decorated my office with Patriots lights-- but someone keeps taking them down.
When I was a kid,my whole family would get together and watch the games. I think that's why I have hearing problems now....
I also used to go to training camp at Bryant College to watch them practice and by the time I was a teenager I volunteered to sell sodas in the stands at Foxboro just to see games. Sadly, the only game I went to this year was the 'Videogate' game, but I went proudly (and had my car keyed by a jealous Jets fan).
I love the Patriots-- please send me!!!

Liz

Thank you so much for all the things you do and allowing me to pass on the gift fo giving. Forever one of your greatest fans!!!!! J.L. Dodge

Hi Ellen I have never done anything like this, but on behalf of my crazy Patriot's fan husband this is something I must do. We got married in 2001 and as we all know when you get married you share everything. well I didn't know what I was getting into. Well, to make a long story short (i'm not nearly close to the end) we (as my husband would say thinking that he is part of the team) were going to the Super Bowl. Drew Bledsoe had gotten injured and it was Tom Brady who will be leading us to victory. Instead of joining the rest of the family and friends for Super Bowl Sunday (all pats fan) my poor husband was stuck attending to me. I had gotten sick and had the flu and was running a fever. So my husband had brought our t.v. (no larger than maybe 25 inch) into our bedroom and their I learned the whole history of the Patriots. I know for most people at this time...well is pretty much sick of the Patriots but, for my husband he has been waiting a long time for this. He reminds me of how that one year (a long time ago that I chose to block out) the Patriots went to the Super and lost to the Green Bay Packers and that was the last time that they have gone to the Super Bowl except for recent years. My husband never misses a game. We always work around on Sunday,Monday, and sometimes Saturday games. See Ellen we live in Florida and we can't afford to go see any games. Maybe if we lived in the New England area (where my husband is from) we might get a glimpse of his hero Tom Brady along in the mist of the crowd. Ellen I am writting you because my husband works very hard (at a job that it killing his spirit but stays to support his family) and we are also expecting our first child on Feb. 28, 2008 and the only excitment this day (besides the expecting of our first born which he is naming Brady in honor of Tom Brady) is the up and coming Super Bowl 42. See Ellen I would love for you to do this for my husband because seeing the Patriots would give him more joy than a child opening a present on Christmas Day (or a teenage boy losing his you know what on prom night) For my husband this whole season has been magical. At every game this season and during the playoff he would rub my belly and tell our unborn son that he is witnessing history. History of an undefeated team and history that many records has been broken and that one day he will sit our son down and told him how he witness history. So please let him add another chapter to his story by letting him tell our son how Ellen gave him VIP pass to the Super Bowl and he got to see Tom Brady and The Patriots and that he was name after a legend. p.s. my husband has made me a crazy Patriots fan too. if you only new the passion he has for this team. Sorry...I really did try to make it short (it prabably doesn't make any sense now) but we love your show. I watch every time I get a day off work.
~Jennifer

ellen,

my fiance, andrew, is a huge patriots fan. we just bought a house and have our bathroom devoted to the patriots. he has a tattoo on his leg and will get 19-0 with the year under it, if they win the superbowl. he has so much memorabilia to even count: watches, jerseys, posters, clock, tom brady bobble head, flags, blanket, everything you can think of that you can stick something patriots on, he will. he also has an authentic patriots vs panthers superbowl football. he also wanted a patriots wedding ring, so i got him that. he is there number one fan and he would be so excited to go to the superbowl.

end entry

Hey Ellen.
I watch you every day. I have never won anything in my life. I would love to win tix to the Super Bowl as I have nothing else to do. I do not watch football at all, but did watch most of the Giant's game two weeks ago. Forget everyone else saying what huge fans they are. I've never been to a football game(except high school) so why not start out big with the SUPER Bowl. Hey, at least I'm honest.

I have been a Patriots fan for a number of years. I am really looking forward to this years game between the (NJ) Giants known as the NY Giants and the New England Patriots with great anticipation. It is too bad New England will tease the Giants so much as to make them believe the actually have a chance.
The commercials during the show are terrific and I truly understand why they cost so much to air. It is too bad the game is in Arizona and not someplace with a colder climate.

Ellen, I am writing to ask if there is any way you could set it up for my 10 year old son to meet jeff corwin? He is not your average 10 year old, while most kids are playing video games, watching cartoons, or outside playing with other kids, my son Cody is usually watching animal planet, playing with his dogs, or asking me to buy him another animal. He hasn't had a good run of luck with them, all six of his rabbits died of a desease, and our cat killed his chinchilla. He is a really ggod boy, he keeps his room really clean, spends most of his time with his dogs, and always watching animal planet! He even has a beagle calander that he marks special events on that are on animal planet that he wants to watch. I would really like to reward him for all his hard work by asking you if u could arrange for him to meet jeff corwin. Thanks Ellen We Love You!

I don't know if Canadians are even eligible to be in this contest but I thought that I would try. My boyfriend Brandon is the most amazing person that I know and I know that if he got a chance to see The NE Patriots in the Superbowl it would make his dreams come true. He watches every single game and even tapes the games when he knows he has to work. Please Ellen help me make my boyfriends dreams coem true!!

Hi Ellen!!

I'm writing for our friend Tony. He is a huge Giants fan. He was recently able to go into the locker room and meet and talk to the team. He was so excited that was all he talked about for the longest time. I hate it when he is at my house watching the game, (he and my husband are in the man's room)he is constantly yelling at the tv and if they win or have a really big play he will come upstairs and do his happy dance in front of my tv. I'm watching it upstairs so I know it's coming. Last season there was a game where they lost and the officating was very bad, he spent almost a hour on his cell phone trying to get through to the stadium to yell at who ever would listen. We laughed because we knew he would not get through.

He is not going on a big yearly ski trip, where friend come in from different states this weekend because he is afriad he will get stuck somewhere and not see the game. Tony should win!!!

Thanks,
Karri

Hi Ellen !! Happy Birthday ! :}

My whole family are huge NE Pats fans ! We have a few tv's in our home and when we watch the game we have found that if we sit together the pats dont do so well....so we watch from different locations. All the time screaming through the house wooooooo hoooooo did you see that ???????? When we have company over they also must watch from different tvs. I know...sounds crazy but we dont want to jinx the game.
My husband would love to go the SB...The Pats have really made history this year and to be part of that would be unbelievable.

Bye the way I loved the marshmallow eating contest....very funny! Thanks for all the laughs !

Hi Ellen,
I just wanted you to know that you truly hurt my feelings during yesterdays show. I am a huge New England Patriots fan, and you were talking about the super bowl, and you would not even say the words "New England Patriots" :(
I can understand if you are a Giants fan. However, there is no denying what the New England Patriots and Tom Brady have accomplished this year. If by the slightest of chances the Giants beat the Patriots on Sunday, they will go down in history no matter what!! I still love you and will continue to watch everyday.
Signed,
Hurt in New England

end entry

Hi Ellen
Did you have a great b-day? So I think you should pick me for the superbowl. I am 27 years old and I love the New England Patriots, I hope I'm not to late I sent a letter in already but I'm having internet problems so I'm not sure you received it.(I'm not the most computer competent person) I'm the most hated person during football season, you see I live in Indiana which is Colts territory and there are not many people in Indiana who like the Patriots. (the Pats are the Colts BIGGEST rival) I get grief whenever I put my NE jersey on, and I wear it ALOT! Even with a perfect season I still have everyone dogging me out saying their not going to make it, of coarse I know they are going to win and have their dynasty and completely perfect season. If you choose me you will make 2 of my dreams come true one to see you and maybe get to watch a live show and also to watch a live Pats game. I've never been to a live game of any sort (except to watch my future NFL, NBA, or MLB stars) I have a life list that you inspired me to make, and to meet you is on it, and also to watch the Pats at home is another, but it would be even greater to watch them win their 4th ring, to see that would be even sweeter. Please, pick me I'm not a well liked person right now because I like the Pats, but it doesn't get me down I'm so happy for my team and I would love to share this next special win with them at the game. Plus my husband won't even watch the game with me because he doesn't like either team in it. Even though I watched his team (the Colts) with him last year he doesn't even like to be near me on game days or whenever I wear my NE jersey which as I said before is ALOT!! I hope I get your vote, and I hope you will help me make 2 of my dreams come true, 1: to come see you and, 2: to go see my favorite NFL team of all time. I would even be willing to get a NE tattoo or whatever you wanted to have done to me on live t.v. if you would give me this chance. I hope to hear from you soon. Thanks for making us all laugh and dance everyday. We love ya Ellen! Go New England #1

end entry

Hey Ellen I'm 12 years old I wacth your show all the time when I come home. You are my favorite person to wacth on t.v. and the funnyest person. My dad hates the pats, but he doesn't know I'm a pats fan and that I hate the giants. My dad dosen't really like the giants ether he just wants the pats to loss beacuase of Tom Brady and Randy Moss. If I even talk about them I'm scared that he will kick me out of the house. I'm going to go to a friends house to wacth the superbowl with my basketball team, my dad, and my coach. I don't know what to do. If I go for the pats my dad won't like it and if I go for the giants I wouldn't like that. What should I do? Thank you Ellen can't wait to see your next show!

Ellen, just because a person has a house full of football stuff or has been able to go to each game doesn't make them a bigger fan it only makes them a richer fan. People like myself have rooted for our teams when they were only able to win one game in a season. I have also been a fan longer than some of these people are old.

Not sure when you are selecting but my friend Tara's letter is great. I hope you select her but if you don't you need to at least read it. She is a huge Giants fan but also a hard working Mom and deserves to go !!! Thanks Ellen

My wife, Jackie is the absolute biggest Giants fan most people know. She grew up in West Islip New York and has been an avid sports fan her entire life. To say that she takes her Giants seriously is an understatement. We have an active rule in our house that no one can meet Jakie for the first time during a Giants game. This is because the one time it happened, the Giants lost and it was a little uncomfortable for our guests. Even she would admit that Phil Helmuth takes a bad beat better than she takes a Giants loss. She is also un-rationally superstitious about "her boys" as she calls them, we are not allowed to tape any Giants games, they must be watched live or the outcome may change, this means no TIVO to go to the bathroom either. She watches every game in the same outfit, until they lose, then that combination of clothes does not get worn again on game day. Our infant son wears one of his Giants jerseys on game day and does not leave her side during a game. In college she briefly dated a Cowboys fan, unknowingly of course, and they did not even make it through pre-season together. She watches old Giants games on Sundays in the off-season as well as replays of the current season's game on the NFL Network. The picture I submitted was from the day of the Dallas playoff game this season, Jackie woke up to find out that the T.V would not turn on. I had never seen her so torn, she didn't know if we should run out and get a new T.V or if it was a sign that she shouldn't watch. As you can tell from the picture, we ran to the store to get a T.V that could be taken home that day and set up before kick-off. I am sure I could go on forever, but trust me she is the biggest fan, I was almost praying that they didn't make it to the SuperBowl since we live in Arizona and aren't rich, but they made it and she will be in our living room in the same outfit she has been in for the past 3 Sundays, and in her words, if it aint broke don't fix it, they are undefeated in the playoffs with her watching from the couch and that's how they'll win the SuperBowl.

Hi.
I think I might be too late for the SuperBowl contest but, you Really have to hear this story:
My identical twin sister LOVES the NE Patriots. She has a Patriots logo tatoo on her left shoulder. That's how people tell us apart in the summertime. Anyway, she & her boyfriend (of 26 yrs) went to their Camp in the White Mountains on July 7, 07 (yes, 7/7/7) It was raining all weekend and she tried to get up on the back of thier truck and fell and broke her ankle.. We got her home and she got her Patriots red cast, but then, fell off her cruches, (a lot)...so much so that she landed on my lawn and broke her left shoulder & thumb. Then, by climbing up her stairs on her bum using her left shoulder, she damaged her rotater cuff in her right shoulder. She is still in therapy for both and the left shoulder will need surgurey. Anyway her Dollhouse has a Patriots room. She still voluntered at our local Food Pantry (in A wheel Chair), She just SO deserves something really good to happen to her....SUPER BOWL...really...please,
Sincerely,
her twin,
Donna

Hi Ellen, HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I love your show! Always puts a smile on my face! I would love to dance with you :)
I believe that my husband, Adam should win the Superbowl tickets!! He is a HUGE Patriots fan and has been for many years!!! He is an AMAZING guy and I believe he deserves this so much. He does everything he can to provide for us, which means working away from home alot! I probably see him about 5-7 days out of a month, sometimes less. Whenever he is out of town working, he will always call me and ask for updates on the Patriots game.. He asks me to watch the game for him and I have therefore found a love for the Patriots as well. He has taught me all about the game... I have wanted to take Adam to a Patriots game but due to other circumstances have not been able to... He deserves this so much... I know he would be willing to get a Patriots tattoo on your show, if you wanted :) He has talked about it but due to lack of time at home in the city he was never able to. Adam is an amazing person and this would be a dream come true for him!!! PLEASE PLEASE send him to the Superbowl!!!! PLEASE PLEASE!!! PLEASE!!!!

Thank-you for this opportunity,
April from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada :)

P.S. I have these football underwear that I wear to help the patriots win! They are pink with footballs all over :) It has worked for this season so far!!!! I wear them EVERY game... I know how much you love underwear stories :)

Hi Ellen and company,
I am positive that I am the Biggest GIANTS fan ever. My first great sports memory is from the 1991 Super Bowl when I was 9 years old and the Buffalo Bills kicked wide right and one of the most excited defensive teams in history, led by LT and coordinated ironically by Bill Bilichick won the Super Bowl. I rememeber my whole family exploding in celebration and that night is one of the fondest memories I have with my brothers and father. Since that night I was hooked. I grew up in Albany, NY (where the Giants train) and would take the bus and then walk 1/2 mile just to watch the practices each day after I got out of my summer job. I LOVED them.
This past year I moved out to Las Vegas and left all my friends and family back home in NY. Watching Giants football is the only thing that really makes me feel at home in this city all by myself.
This weekend my best friend in the world is flying out to Las Vegas (she bought the ticket the day after she found out that the giants are going to the SuperBowl) and we are going to drive the 5 hours just to have a chance to sit in the parking lot close to where the NY Giants are going to beat the Pats. Everyone tells us it is the stupidest idea ever, but no one can talk us out of it.
My wardrobe revolves so much around the NY GIANTS that if I don't get on your show, I am pretty sure my friends are going to send me on What Not to Wear.
I am a huge fan of yours, especially your dancing, and if I get these ticket I will do the SUPER BOWL dance, (my version of the Soulja Boy dance) on your show and make a complete fool of myself but it would be worth it because going to this would make my life.
Thanks Ellen and Keep on Rockin'

Hi Ellen! My mild-mannered ten year old son Jack has become insane this year with Patriot fever. His new plan for the future is play for them one day or just join the navy and watch them on television like a regular-old fan. He even finds a way to supplement his Catholic-school uniform with Patriot extras...hats, sweatshits, etc...His newest addition? Brand new braces yesterday with the bands in Patriot's colors. Even with the pain he says he never wants to take them off!

Thank you have a gr8 day.

Ellen,
No doubt about it that all of the Patriots fans are pysched to see Sunday's game. You can add me to that list, but more importantly you should add my sister Kathy to the top of the list.

She doesn't have any tattoos are strange rituals. She's not drooling at the sight of Tom Brady (I've got that covered) or staring longingly at their butts on TV. She's just a true blue fan who believes with all her heart that the Patriots are the best!

Thanks for considering my sister!

Hi Ellen,

I watch your show all the time from my home office. My favorite Ellen Show was "show on a plane." My mom recently died of Brain Cancer in her home in Riverside, CA, and during her journey from her hospital bed, she, and I and her Nurse Aid, Jackie watched your show each day. Your show brought my mom a lot of joy, happiness and hardy laughs in her last days. My dad is a big football fan and loves the New England Patriots as its the last place him and my mom visited together, not to mention he is in need of a little cheering up. We are loyal fans, and hope our wish finds for Super Bowl tickets finds it your way.

Sincerely yours, Barbara

Dear Ellen,
Please consider my brother Brandon for the New York Football Giant ticket. When we were children we were blessed with the greatest, great-uncle anyone ever had. Our Grandparents passed away before my brother was born, so our great uncle Sol Horowitz filled in as our only elder relative. This worked very well since Unkie (as he was and will always be known) never had any children or grand children. Now as a child my brother Brandon was not a fan of watching sports, except when it came to watching them with Unckie. As far as I can remember if it was Sunday and the Giants were on TV Brandon would be at Unckie's. Over the years the sports watching grew from a way to spend time with a deeply loved relative to a true habit & love. When our Uncle passed away in 1992 Brandon's interest in the Giants, Yankees, and Knicks only grew. He would often get excited about good plays, especially when they were made by the players that he knew Unckie liked. It may sound strange but I think his fanatical interest developed in the Giants because it helps him feel close to Unckie because our whole family knows that Unckie is still watching his Giants on a big screen up in heaven.

My brother is a huge fan, but because we grew up in Arizona, he has never made it to a live game!!! In fact he's has never actually been top a live NFL game! I know he's going nuts trying to get tickets to this game. As soon as the game was over he was on the internet looking, but he couldn't find anything! I honestly thought I was going to cry. This is a once and a life time opportunity and it would mean the world to me if you could help him get to this game. Plus it would help make up for some of the torture I put him through as his big sister.

On a quick side note, I love your show, please keep on dancing. I think of your show as my 3:00 happiness because no matter how my day is going it always brings a smile to my face.

Thank You,

Alyson Curtis

Dear Ellen,

I would like to nominate my father-in-law, David Sleasman for the chance to win tickets to this years Super Bowl. His love of the Patriots is very similar to the guests that have written you already. He's been to a few games, has a shrine of memorabilia dedicated to his favorite team and players, and even wears his Patriots tie proudly to every family wedding we attend. However, he has a very different story to tell that I think sets him apart from other Patriot fans.
My father-in-law has been battling cancer for the past 7 years. He has beaten cancer and gone through chemo three different times. He is a fighter, one whom I feel deserves to be at that game. Sending him to the Super Bowl would not only make one man's dream come true...It would make one families dream come true. He's been through so much and deserves a miracle. Ellen, please be his miracle maker.

Thank you,
Pam Sleasman

Ellen,

I just wanted to tell you how much of a Patriot's fan my fiance is. He grew up in Rhode Island and has been a Patriot's fan his whole life. We just bought a house and our bathroom is decorated in Patriots, his wedding ring is Patriots, he has all kinds of memorabilla, his pride being a Superbowl football between the Panthers and Patriots. He also has a Patriot's tattoo on his leg and he says if they win the Superbowl he is getting 19-0 and the year under the logo he has now. He watches every single game and even switched to Direct TV just to get the NFL package. He is a huge fan!!!

Dear Ellen and Staff,
I just wanted to let you all know how much my husband would love to go to the superbowl. He is a true Giants fan. He was born and raised in Connecticut and has followed the Giants all his life. Since ticket holders usually fill the stands, he has only gotten to go to a couple of stadium games. When we got married in 2002 he sacraficed a great deal and moved out to California, where I am from. The Giants are obviously an east coast team, so we get lucky when they are nationally televised. Most of the games he watches on the computer. He has made all of my dreams come true by making me a wife, and a mom who gets to stay home. I would love to give something back to him for all that he does for me.

Hey Ellen:
So what do you do when you are fans of both teams. Long time Giants fan until 1960's when the Patriots joined the league. So Now what? Go with the first picks the Giants to beat the Pats or the Pats to go 20 and 0? I will have my number #54 Patriot shirt on and my Giants blanket at my feet this weekend. May the best team win. Michelle

Hey Ellen:
Happy B=Day Gal! I'm ready and willing to go to the Pats and Giants in a heartbeat. What a thrill. Boston born, Patriot's Fan and they need my support! I've got to get there. My husband is away in Vegas and I am going to have to watch the game all alone. I am able and willing to get on a plane and go on a minutes notice. Get me there. Please help me get there, I could never afford to go, never mind even in my wildest dreams think I could even have a shot at going to the most historical game of all times. Let me see #19 wins for the Pats. I watch your show everyday. Friends are not allowed to call from 9:00 to 10:00 just so I can watch you. You are always high priority in my household. Dots from Tewksbury~

Dear Ellen,
So I think I am the biggest Giants fan there is. Ever since I was a little girl I would watch every Giants game with my dad. To this day I watch every game, and follow everything there is with the Giants! I have my pink and white Giants #80 Jeremy Shockey jersey, that I wear every game day! To be given the chance to go see them play in the Superbowl would be a dream come true for me! As a single mom with 2 boys, one who loves the Giants and one who loves the Patriots, this would just be incredible. I would go to your show and do anything for this chance, you name it Ellen I will do it!!! I mean anything. Ellen please please give me a chance to go see my team, Big Blue ruin the Patriots perfect season!!!
You are the best Ellen, and if you dont pick me for this will you at least go shopping with me to the Dollar Store? Thanks so much and I really hope you pick me as the #1 Giants fan! Hope to see you soon!

Hi Ellen, I watch your show daily...I have to write to you about my son he is 9 years old. I realize alot of adults would love to go, but my son Marco is the ultimate fan of football. He could outwit you or any adult on football facts. He makes adult male fans look like they don't even know what or who plays the game. He lives sleeps, eats,football....This child would give anything to go to this game. He has an awesome sense of humor he is the biggest fan. He has 27 different football jerseys in his closet. He loves football not just a team. He is sure he will play proffessional ball some day. He is absolutely convincing of this fact. thanks, His Mom Theresa p.s. please make my year and call me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really will have a heart attack!!!!

Hey Ellen!
My names Victoria, im 17 years old from new york! So, heres my story, me and my dad, Rick, go to just about every 'sport' game there is, im pretty much like a son he never had. Just last december my dad had a mild heart attack and i almost lost him forever, everyday its a time that i cherish with my dad and it was just recently when he said to me, "God, what i would do to go to the superbowl, i have to get there soon, im running out of time." When me and my dad go to games its almost as if everything else doesnt matter, and its his time to escape from all his health problems. I dont want you to feel bad for me or anything of that sort, i just want you to know that if you make this happen your going to be making a mans life complete. Not to mention that we havent missed a giant game in a bout 6 years! GO GIANTS!!!!

THANKS ELLEN!!

Hey Ellen,
My name is Matthew and im writing from the Boston area. Im the number 1 pats fan in the world. Just wanna tell u a little story why i should win the tickets. I have been an avid fan for the patriots for about 10 years now. Im 24 today but when i was in the 6th grade me and a friend rode our bikes down to the patriots practice field, so we met up with the security guard and asked him if it would be ok if we watched the practice and he said u need to talk to the coach back then it was Pete Carrol. So we waited until the end of the practice and we asked him and he said it was fine. So for about 2 seasons i drove my bike from Mansfield to Foxboro witch is like 8 miles back and forth like 3 days a week. I have had so many good times with the team and brought them luck throughout the years. I have watched all the games through the past 10 years. I love Ellen so much i luv ur show

Dear Ellen,
I watch you every day I can and enjoy your show greatly, You always bring a smile to my face, and laughter to my heart.
I would like to nominate my sister and her boy friend for the biggest fans. They are sports fans to all sports, my sister can name most all of the players on all the teams and give you info about them as well. She would rather watch sports than anything else. She lived in Africa for the over 30 years and just came back to the states after splitting up with her husband two years ago. She now faces a hard road of no support and no benefits of any kind, and is cleaning houses to try and make a living for herself, so a trip to the supper bowl would be a great pick-me-upper for her. She has always done for everyone else and never thinks of herself, since I am disabled and can not help her much I thought I could at least nominate her for the supper bowl trip you are giving away. It would be great if you could find it in your heart to send them to the supper bowl, They both enjoy helping others and are continually doing something for others. Thank you for your time Her biggest fan Rebecca Crow

Hi Ellen. I thought my comment got posted days and days ago, but after sifting through over 1000 comments, my name nor my posting was on there so here I go again.
Although I am sure you probably already have your winner, I wanted to make sure that I got my posting online so one of my bestest buds would see it.
Kevin and I have been friends for a few years. He was stationed here in Vermont and now is in Virginia with the National Guard. He is a great, kind, caring and wonderful man with one major flaw. He's a Giants fan. Imagine that. From Vermont, no less a Giants fan.
Anyway, we have spent many Sundays and Mondays harassing each other about the two teams. He harasses me and I always follow up with a good chuckle on him since the mighty Pats are still undefeated.
It would be a great honor to be able to assist in getting him to the game so I can revel in the Superbowl victory and look him square in those beady little eyes and make sure he knew, in a politically correct way, of course, just how much better the Pats are.
Thanks for the opportuntity to enter this fun contest and hope you are able to enjoy the big game yourself. :)

Hey Ellen..you Rock
My son Daniel (14) and myself are the biggest Patriot fans. Our season starts during the draft. We chart the college football games just to see who may be drafted by the Patriots. Then, off to Patriots training camp every weekend, when opened to the public. We watch all games and tape them just to analyze the play calling. My sons room is decorated in Patriots color with a Helmet and autograghed photos and footballs. We go to the games when ever tickets come our way and tailgate..Root beer for him ..Season tickets are out of our reach.waitlist only. A superbowl would be a dream come true

Hi Ellen,
I am married to a man that is an avid Patriots fan. He lived in Maine for 15 years, several years ago and has been a fan of the New England Patriots ever since he lived there. We live in Kings Mountain, North Carolina. He only pulls for the Carolina Panthers when the Patriots are not playing them. He only goes to the Panther games when the Patriots are playing them. He is so dedicated. We have a curio cabinet in our living room filled with Patriot memorabilia and souvenirs. When our grandson was born and not even crawling he was wearing patriot jerseys. Before he was 1 year old he taught him to hold his arms up and yell touchdown! I would love to see him win tickets to the super bowl.

Dear Ellen,

“TIMEOUT– STEVE LEVY IS YOUR “BIGGEST GIANT FAN” SO PLEASE STOP THE CLOCK!”

My two sons and I are "THE BIGGEST FANS” of my husband, Steve, and we would truly love to show him in "yards" just how much he means to us. For my birthday this year (which happens to be on a "super" day - February 3, 2008) my wish would be that Steve, who is the “Biggest Fan” of the NY GIANTS, be able to attend and enjoy (without interruptions of having to “build Legos”) SuperBowl XLII in Arizona. I could go on and on about why he is the biggest fan (i.e., his love for the GIANTS Team inspired him to start playing football at an early age which he continued playing through college, his collection of GIANTS banners, GIANTS jerseys, GIANTS sweatshirts, GIANTS hats, GIANTS pennants, the actual tears he’s shed while watching games and the fact that he would probably have a tattoo in a weird place if it wouldn’t have disappointed his mother) but it's the “ real man” behind the "biggest fan" that makes him unbeatable! My husband has a GIANT heart and he is truly one of the few good men left “that plays fair” out there. And although he would rather watch the GIANTS and talk football more than anything else, he would sacrifice it any day of the week without complaint to spend time with his family or help a friend. He owns a Chiropractic office and devotes his daily life to helping people get and feel better – which he seems to do so effortlessly. If you talk to anyone that knows Steve, whether it’s his family, friends, acquaintances, associates, and/or patients they all would undeniably agree that Steve is one of a kind. He is so selfless that if he did win a ticket to the game, he would probably automatically offer it to me for my birthday. Anyway, there is not nearly enough “character spaces” available on this site to finish describing my husband’s amazing character but please know that if he was chosen for this high honor, it would be a GIANT win for the Ellen DeGeneres Show!

We’ll be waiting anxiously on the sidelines for a decision to be made.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ELLEN You are looking very nifty at fifty!!!

Thank you for your consideration,

Hi Ellen,

I just recently started watching your show and I love it-- you crack me up! Anyways, I entered the real way, but I really want to go to the Superbowl! I am a native Rhode Islander living in enemy territory (New York) and probably one of the hugest fans there is. I have a Pats tattoo on my back and I honestly think that all I wear outside of work are Pats clothes (OK-- Red Sox too up until football season starts). I drive around in New York with my Patriots stickers displayed proudly-- even though it has been keyed. When my husband and I decide to have children, we will be naming our son Thomas Brady (Thomasina doesn't have the same ring to it for a girl, but her middle name will be Brady).
The twist to my story is one of my closest friends, Melissa, is the BIGGEST Giants fan. She and I work together at a hotel and we taunt each other constantly. Her son is named Jeremy Taylor (Jeremy Shockey/Lawrence Taylor). She and her husband dress JT up in EVERYTHING Giants and their apartment matches. They have a ritual that JT must wear his lucky PJs in order for them to win, but they are getting too small.
She always razzes me about my office decorated with Patriots Christmas Lights, a Tom Brady screen saver and pictures of my niece in Patriots clothing that I bought her. And my friends joke that my apartment looks like a dorm room, because all I have are Patriots pictures, articles and memoriabilla around. We try to keep the theme going with red, white and blue pieces of furniture and blankets.
Melissa and I are both fanatics about watching the games. We are both event managers and part of our job entails servicing weddings. If I have a wedding, I usually make sure that the bride's know that I will be stepping out periodically to check the score and I may be receiving messages with what's happening. They usually get a kick out of my obsessiveness. During the Pats/Giants game Melissa and I actually hooked up a TV in the kitchen so we could watch it the entire time during a wedding. (This has never affected our job performance, but it was essential to our well being).
Melissa and I would love to go to the Superbowl together. I would let her come with me, even though she loves the Giants.

You Rock! I watch your show every day and I love it and everything you do. You are the best thing that ever happened to daytime tv! I am from New Hampshire and I am an avid Patriots fan. I have watched every single game the patriots played this season and I know that they are going to win! Why? because I a psychic. I do not tell a lot of people because some are skeptics. Mostly I used to work for free finding missing children and going after pediofiles online. I do not do it much anymore because it was to hard after a while. But I am authentic and really good. Anyways I know the Perfect Patriots will win! Good luck to both teams but I am a Pats fan.
Thanks! and keep up the good work on your show.

Ellen,
I work days, but I have to say everytime I have seen your show ( mostly in doctor's offices) waiting for my Mother or Father to get done with their appointments, I have LOVED it.
Your so funny. I wish you would come East and do some shows. My Mother and Aunt love you and I would love to see you live.
Oh...
Football fan, YES... I am. but here's the thing...
I'm from Philadelphia and a HUGE fan of the Eagles.
It's easy to be a fan when your winning but it's tough when your team has a rough year ( or YEARS if you know our history...lol).
This is the first year I really don't care who wins. In the past I have always wanted the under dog but since thats the GIANTS... NOT A CHANCE...
And New England, well they have a great team but I'm sick of them winning too...
What to do, what to do?...lol
If your ever in Philly stop buy for a homemade dinner.
Your fan when I can,
Ed

Hey Ellen,
Me and my family watch the Giants every sunday with my dad who will be 80 this year. We go to the d.a.v. where he belongs and have quite a following these days... it is so cute all the kids love to come there too. He is eveyone's Papa. We go to one game a year my dad is in a lottery and we get one set of 4 tickets every year. I know he would not want to got the Superbowl without all of us but if you could get him something from the Giants signed that would make his life. We have a singing Giants frog that comes to all the games too. We have to wear the same clothes every week Papa makes sure nothing goes wrong. I also after every game we win drape the Giants flag around myself like a cape and fly through the D.A.V. they think we're nuts but they love us. I wish I could E-mail you the pictures of all of us flying especially my 80 year old Papa!!! Well pls. keep my Papa in mind for something special. And maybe he would like to go to the superbowl so if you feel like picking him feel free!! You would soooooo love him like everyone else does.

Take care!!
Love your show by the way! People say I remind them of you because I love to make people laugh.

Hi Ellen,
I am so sick of hearing about those dag on GIANTS!!! my boyfriend actually tells me not to talk to him on Sundays or any day when they're playing. We just recently had a baby and the night of the final game he was watching the game and rocking the baby to sleep. Then the giants made the winning score he actually pushed the baby off of his lap onto the couch as he jumped up & down screaming to the top of his lungs like a maniac and waking the baby back up. For him to be a finalist would make his year. And I'm gonna make him make me a promise to pay more attention to me than Michael Strahan and the rest of those giants. Sincerly, Lakia ( the woman who is jealous of the giants players )

Hi Ellen- Ipm going to be perfectly honest with you. I became the HUGEST Giants fan the second I realized that they were the team to go up against the Patriots. (I'm actually a Pittsburgh Steeler's fan!) So I say Go Eli, Plaxico and guys!!!! I am SO tired of hearing about how great Tom Brady is it makes me.....well anyway, it takes a team together, and an awesome offensive line to make Tom look as good as he does week in and week out- allowing him to continue to set records. They deserve much more credit. If Big 'ole Ben had the line Tom has.....but anyway, what can I say- I still love Plaxico!! I wish the whole Giants team the best and hope that they come out on top. I'd love to be there, especially because the warm weather would help my many health issues ( the doc even recently wrote me a prescription for a wk r & r in Cabo- if I only had the money!)But more so not because I am just the new biggest Giants fan, but I am the biggest fan of New England getting their BUTTS KICKED & their first loss of this season!!!!:) and all in good fun of course. Hope you are well and your back is healed. Any suggestions for some good rehab/therapy?

Dear Ellen,

I watch your show every day. I even DVR it so my boys and I can watch it later when they get home from school. I've been a fan of yours for years. Sorry to say I've been I loyal, and faithful fan to the Patriots longer. My husband and I have been married almost 21 years this coming June. While we were dating we would watch Boston College with Doug Fluite win football games on Saturdays and then watch our beloved Pats with Steve Grogan lose football games on Sundays. We have been through many, many, many, many ups and downs through the years with this team. But through it all always supportive even while away in the military when we couldn't always watch when we wanted to.

I have been a fan for over 25 years and have NEVER been to a game. I don't even have a jersey because I don't know which player's jersey to get. I LOVE them all for different reasons. I call them my boys!!! I never miss a game on TV. If I'm not going to be home I DVR it and avoid any and all news or radio so I won't hear the score until I can watch the game on my own. This year is amazing to me and all of New England!! We are all so proud of our boys!! If you pick me to go to the Super Bowl it would be a dream come true. I hope it's not to late to enter. It would be a pleasure and an honor to represent New England to support my boys. GO PATS!!!!! All the way!! 19-0!!!

Thanks, Dee

Hi Ellen, Happy Birthday. I have been entering contest for years to see my beloved Patriots play football. I am trying this out to see if maybe you will be my lucky charm.

Twenty eight years ago I was born into a family of Patriots fans. The biggest fan in the family is my 81yr old grandmother. As much as I want to win the tickets for myself I think she deserves to go to the game. Back in 1994 when I was getting my drivers permit I made a promise to Grandma Harks that I would get us tickets and take her to a Patriots game. Ever since that day back in 1994 I have entered every contest that I have been eligible for. I have also tried to buy tickets, having no luck at all.

Here are my reasons for why Grandma Harks deserves to go to the game.
• Grandma Harks lives in RI from about May to September/October, and in North Fort Myers Fla. the rest of the year. Anyone that knows her can tell you she does not miss a game.
• You also know only call her during the commercials, otherwise she’s not talking to you and the answering machine picks up.
• She does not go to her bowling league games if the Patriots are playing. (She’s in charge of the league.)
• What other 81yr old woman will drink a beer, yell at the TV and throw candy corn or soft balls at the TV? Oh Yeah! Now she has a football shaped whistle that she blows to call penalties.
• She makes the local paper in Fla. for having an 8ft inflatable Patriot quarterback in her yard. (It is bigger than her house.) The windows and walls also have Patriots stuff on them as well.
• She is miserable on the days that she can’t watch the game in Fla. The only thing that cheers her up is knowing that I will call and give her the game update. (One game this year I left her a 19 message game update just to cheer her up and make her laugh when she got home.)
• She makes dollar bets with some of the men in the park that her Patriots will win against their team. (The dollars are not spent she pins them up on the wall with her other Patriot memorabilia.)
• She has never been to a football game to see her Patriots play.

I know that she could handle going to the game with a Giants fan. I’m not sure if they would be able to handle her.

Just an F.Y.I. her birthday is Feb 5th. I would love to be able to give her this memorable birthday gift. Don’t worry if she doesn’t win she will be in Fla. at her own Superbowl party, blowing her whistle and throwing things at the TV.

If you are apprehensive about sending an 81 yr old woman to a football game then I will be glad to go in her place. I take after her in many of the above ways. I know that I could handle going to the game with a Giants fan, since I now live with one. I am also living in Giant territory now as well.

I know that whoever wins this trip will have a blast. I’ll be watching to see who wins. Thanks again Ellen for considering Grandma Harks.

Hi Ellen!

My mom's name is Ellen too and she is the biggest Giants fan there is. She just turned 60 and me and my sister flew her into NJ and got 4 tickets for us to go to the Giants/Jets game. She cried for like an hour when I gave her the tickets. It was great! She's crazy! She has to watch the game in a seperate room from my dad because once a commercial comes on my dad starts flicking to other channels and my mom won't have that! Another thing is that as soon as we found out our boys were going to the Superbowl my mom had me shopping around for Giants stuff that says conference champs on it. I found a really cute flag that they can hang on their golf cart so she is making me ship it out 2 day air! She's too funny! Their golf cart is already all packed with Giants stuff. They also have a Giants room in their FL home. I have been going through a real rough period in my life right now and my parents have been such life savers that I couldn't think of a better gift to give them then Super Bowl tickets. My mom would be soooo happy! Ever since my parents retired to FL we had to give our Giants season tickets away because I couldn't afford to keep them for the family! Pleaseeeee do me this favor and pick my mom. She's the best! You should know that Ellen's are great people! I love you Ellen!

Hey Ellen,

I would love to nominate my mother for the biggest superbowl fan and here is why! My brother is the Assistant atheletic Trainer of the NEW YORK GIANTS! GO BIG BLUE! He has worked super hard to be where he is and my mother gave her ticket to my other brother. I know she would love to go and watch her favorite team and her son in Arizona. She is a big fan and supporter and wears her Giants sweatshirt while watching all the games. She has been a great supporter of the family and deserves the opportunity to cheer on her favorite team and her eldest son. She would pay anything in the world to go see this game but unfortunity i look szome of that money to study abroad this coming semester. Please Ellen make my mom a finalist for the superbowl bigget fan and i promise you she will be the happiest, most greatful, women, mother and fan for the NEW YORK GIANTS, HER SON, AND OF COURSE YOU!!!!!

GO BIG BLUE!!!
Thanks again'

Happy Birthday and Super Bowl Sunday Ellen, Try being a Patriot's fan in New Jersey. Moved here last July for two years and I'm a big Patriot's and Red Sox fan. Wearing my Sox hat during baseball season and The World's Series down here was not easy. Now wearing my Patriot's winter hat everyday[winter in Jersey] has been a faitfull fan job of mine.the Patriot's are going all the way baby and making big time history. What a year for New England sports!

Hi Ellen,
I'm not one to blow my own horn . well don't get me wrong I would if I could LOL
I am the biggest PATRIOTS FAN THERE IS .
It would mean soooo much to go to this game.
You see I'm just getting back on my feet from a motorcycle accident I had back in 1991.
The accident put me in a coma for six months
and left me with tramadic brain injury
amongst many other injuries. I have had to learn to talk and walk and write all over again.
I am thankful I'VE had the oppertunity to do so
you see the doctors say I am a medical miracle
they told my parents that I would'nt come out of the coma and if I did I would be a vegetable.
They said that I would never walk again.
I proved them all wrong I not only came out of my coma but I am walking, talkng and even danceing again !!!!!!!!
It's been a long road to recovery and that is why it would mean so much to me if I could to see Tom Brady and the PATRIOTS WIN THIS SUPER BOWL against the NY Giants.
Thank you for taking the time to read my comment. and Thank you for making me laugh every day!!!!!
sincerly,
# 1 PATS FAN Eddie

Hi Ellen,
My name is Jamie Tooley, and I'm writing you this letter to tell you about my mom. My mom is an amazing person. She is a caring, loving, and incredible person. She also is a huge New England PATROITS Fan! My mom and I would be so grateful if you could send her to the super bowl XLII. My mom is a mother of 5 and life hasn't always been easy on her. After her and my dad split up she was a single mom with 3 girls to rise, and although I don’t remember that much of it I know it must have been hard for her. Things started to get better when she met my Step-dad, Ken and his 2 children. We’ve been a happy, crazy, family of 7 for 15 years now, and I wouldn’t change a thing. My mom has over come many challenges, she was diagnosed with type II diabetes a couple years ago, and recently she took on a job that changed her life. My mom is a home health aid, and 4 years ago this November she was hired to care for an 84 year old couple. About 3 weeks ago the woman, Reeva K. Carter, my mom took care of passed away after battling a long journey with Parkinson’s disease, the things my mom did for this lady is phenomenal. She took her and her husband out of the nursing home, and really gave them more years on their life that no one thought they would see. She took them on many afternoon rides to Friendly’s, and just to sightsee, they really enjoyed everything my mom did for them. And even though the woman is no longer with us my mom still cares for her husband, and gives him so much brightness, and love in his life. I can not tell you of how proud I am to have a mother like the one I have.
But anyway about the PATRIOTSSSSS!!! My mom is the biggest fan; some times I think she knows more about football than my dad. Every Sunday my mom gets on her patriots socks, slippers, #12 Tom Brady jersey, and her little #12 Tom Brady earrings, and awaits for the Patriots to play yet another perfect game. This season she was lucky enough to go to 2 regular season games, and the first play off game. I know if she could just see them play in the Super Bowl it would make her world. And honestly, my mom could use a little break from her crazy life. PLEASE Ellen send my mom to Super Bowl XLII. It would mean the world to her.
- Jamie Tooley

Hello Ellen,

I watch your show every morning at 9:00a.m eastern standard time. My father is the biggest Patriots fan ever to walk on the face of this planet. For as long as I can remember I used to steal his patriots shirts backing the early 90’s sneaking them into my backpack and taking it out to put on at the bus stop. Everyone loved them I was like the most popular kid at the bus stop.

Well years have past and my dad is still a die-hard patriots fan. Although our family has found out my dad had got cancer again. One of his biggest wishes would be to see the Patriots Live. We live in Maine and he doesn’t really get to travel much out of the state.

My father never misses one game. He is the biggest Patriots fan.

Sincerely,
Melissa Danis

Hi Ellen!

Thanks so much for allowing fans this awesome opportunity. I am from Cape cod, MA. My husband and I are such big Patriots fans ( actually we are huge Red Sox, Celtics, & Bruins fans too!) All that we give my husband for birthdays and holidays is pats & sox stuff ( tickets, shirts, framed pictures, etc. ) and he is so excited every time. His dream would be to have season tickets. He wears a Patriots jacket every day and even his house key is painted with a Patriots logo! When I met my husband in high school we used to have Super Bowl parties together with all of our friends. Now twelve years later, we are are still hosting a Super Bowl party. ( I am sure our friends would understand if we were lucky enough to win! ) We have been married for three and a half years now and at our wedding, we were announced at our reception and when we walked in I was wearing a red sox jersey with my new last name on the back and my husband was wearing a patriots jersey with our last name on the back. It is one of our favorite wedding photos! We recently had our first baby. Our daughter Rachel is 5 months old and the light of our life. We thought it was so neat that Rachel was born on the same day as Tom Brady's baby boy!We might be biased :) but we think that she is the little good luck charm that has brought all the success to our new england teams this year! We just love to dress her up in her little Patriots cheerleader dress and pig tails in her hair! I wish I could attach a picture....so cute!

Thanks for the chance to have a once in a lifetime memory. The superbowl would be an amazing story that we would carry in our hearts for the rest of our lives. Either way, we will be watching and cheering on our team! Go Pats!!!!
18-0 and one to go!!!

Hey Ellen,
I know you are offering SB Tickets to some very lucky fans (of you and the NY Giants). I've been a NY Giants Fan for longer than I want to admit. I actually have no desire to go to the Big Game (unless by chance they moved it to Hawaii). I get too emotional when I watch the G-Men play.

For my 50th Birthday, my husband wrote to the NYG office and Coash Fassel (coash at the time) sent me a personal birthday letter on the NY Giants stationary. What a nice surprise!!!! Nice Husband too, even if he is a Phila. Eagles Fan (HA).

All that said, I wanted you to know that the Giants are going to the Super Bowl because of me. I have a little routine I did before each of the 3 playoff games (when the G-Men were the underdogs). I can't tell it to you at this time since there is one more game and why ruin it now.

I doubt that we will ever make it to Calif. to your show, but do you ever think of coming to Atlanta? We live in North Atlants (trasfers from PA). We would definitely fight for those tickets. Unfortunately, I don't get home before 5pm and your show isn't live in Atlanta (CBS 5pm). Thank goodness for TiVo. We've been fans since the beginning of your Talk Show (the ONLY one we watch, I might add).

Happy Birthday, Ellen - You look great and have a loving and caring disposition and with that, you will never be old.

An Admiring Fan in Georgia,
Jean
Once again - GO GIANTS!!!!!!

Hi Ellen:
I'm lucky enough to be working from home today and get to watch your show while I work! Happy Birthday!
Twenty one yerars ago I bought my 2 sons season tickets to the Patriots. they were in high scholl, and I told them they would have to work and pay for the tickets every year going forward.
They haven't missed a home game yet and make the effort to try and go to playoff games and have attnded 2 Superbowls. You would love them, they are such fun guys! They have 3 sons between them and now have three seasons tickets. They eventually hope to have 5 so their sons can attend with them.
Of course, they have never been picked for the lottery, and are mucho disappointed that they will not be in Arizona. As their mother, who bought their first season's set of tickets, I would love, be so-o-o-o grateful, and just bursting with joy if I could get them tickets to this year's Superbowl.

You are the best!

Hi Ellen,
Happy Birthday to Portia! Your B-day show was awesome! I've been reading some of these entries for the Super Bowl tickets. I'm still the biggest Patriots fan. My sister even has Bruschi's (#54) autograph! I wrote in once before. If you read it, (I realize you have over a thousand hopeful fans) I'm the chick from small town, actually, Lawrence Station, New Brunswick, Canada. I grew up and still live close to the border of Maine. Cool things like this don't happen to people in our part of North America. Maybe this will catch your attention, I believe football and alcohol go together. I love your drinking references. Mojito!! Well, I wake up and drink beer to your show every morning. It doesn't take alcohol to make you funny cuz' you are the best but, hello, beer in the morning gives you the best belly buzz. Party on!! PATRIOTS ROCK AND SO DO YOU! Even I don't get picked could you at least announce you got a strange messege from a crazy beer drinking Cunuck?!? Peace, love, and drinking

Hello Ellen, good morning. I am watching your show right now and really enjoy you. The show definately makes my day start out great. I am writing again to try to win super bowl tickets. I love the Patriots so much. When the game is on no one bothers me. I make food either before the game or at half time. I use to watch the game at my friends but because I am so loud I had to stop, as she lives in a building with older people and she was afraid I would scare the neighbors. I have been to the Pats stadium three times and still haven't seen the Pats. Once for a drum corps competition, once my grandson played against Bob Crafts son's pop warner team and once for my son to do a job there. Please pick me as my 19 inch T.V. won't do the game justice. Keep me smiling and laughing and thank you for listening. One crazy football nana

In being completely honest, the only thing I like about the Superbowl is the food, beer, and checking my squares to see if I won . . . and if not, who did. Good luck to all of you who are fans though!

I've always been a fan of football. Even back in Hebrew School, my classmates and I, all 6 of us, would play football during break. My favorite play was the QB sneak. Who knew that some 13 years later I would want to sneak a peak at QB, Tom Brady.

And in highschool during Powder Puff, (a tradition where the senior girls play football against a rival town, and the senior boys cheerlead)I played the "Star position"...atleast that is what my coach called it. I was on the defensive line, and had to cover anyone that needed it. I was only 5'2'', but on that field, boy was I vicious!

Anyway, enough with that .This football season has been highly engaging for me. Back in August I decided to delve into the entire game of football. I was brought up in a Patriots-loving family where football was another great excuse to get together, but I never took the time to fully understand the game...until this year.

My brother, Michael, has taught me everything. Well I should give some credit to my boyfriend, although he is a 49ers fan so he wasn't watching all the games. But nevertheless, Michael and I watched every single game together. He would answer any question I had. I made lists of the other teams players after reading the week's sports pages, so I was up to date on my players and sports talk. My girlfriends could not believe it...as the girlie girl that I have always been, they actually called it "cute" that I was learning the game so perfectly.

Football no longer was the social event it used to be. On the contrary, I actually could not watch games with people anymore, well besides the select few of my father, brother, and boyfriend. I loved to get into it. I literally stand up and cheer during games, hoot and holler all by myself, and always rocking either Bruschi or Brady. (Also to note I have had my Patriots fleece draped over my futon all season. Nothing special to add, but it is special in my eyes.)

Now, everyday when I get into work I open up Bostonglobe.com and read all about the Patriots. My boss makes fun of the player lists that I make, but it really helps us girls that do not memorize the players in a heartbeat. Oh, but I love it! The game of football has always excited me, but never as much as this year.

I have read up about the NY Giants and I am well-prepared to room with a fan of the NY team. We can gab about the players on both teams, and enjoy the game. But Ellen it would be such an honor to be apart of this. Hope to hear from you!

Oh, and um... I am pretty obsessed with you, in a good way. Everyday I get home from work and turn on my DVRed Ellen show. No joke. Ask any of my friends. They think it's pretty nuts. The best is when my boyfriend is over and I just get up and start dancing. He looks over to me and I'm like "What? I always do this :)" --Just thought that would make you smile. Ciao!

I absolutely love football. I also love the popular tailgating game played in the parking lots of nearly every football game played. The game is called Cornhole. Cornhole is a lot like horseshoes and I make the bags for the game. I am a stay at home mom of two and started this online business of sewing these bags up and selling them for all football fanatics and cornhole players to have for their tailgating events. I also sponsor events where I donate the bags for tournaments to raise money for charities. In addition to thinking that Eli is the cutest little thing in the world I would love to go to the Super Bowl and see some of the best tailgating games and parties that go on. I could never afford to go to the Super Bowl myself until my kids are out of college so if you want to send me I will be rooting for the giants all the way and playing cornhole in the parking lot. Go Giants!!!!!

Hi Ellen,
You are my only hope to give my husband of 16 years the best Valentine's gift ever. He truly is the biggest New York Giants fan ever. Joseph was born in New Jersey 41 years ago and grew up watching the giants. He moved to Florida 27 years ago, but never forgot them. Every game day he watches the giants and trades phone calls with his brother throughout the entire game discussing the previous plays. He was only able to attend one New York Giants game many years ago, and it would be a thrill of his lifetime to be present for this upcoming game. His office in our house is covered with Giants plaques, footballs, glasses, clocks, lamps, cereal boxes, etc. He has every book ever written by present and former Giants, and has over twenty years of the newspaper the Giants Newsweekly. He can tell you stats from every past Giants game, and I know there is no one more deserving of this prize. I hope you will consider my husband, my love, my best friend for this chance of a lifetime.

Sincerely,
Christina Medvid

SAY WHAT!!!!!

Hey Ellen,

I know that most of the letters that you have been getting have been from people that say they are #1 Fan's,but i can bet almost any thing in the world that there is No Greater Fan then my fiance (Mike)!! He is the true one and only Super New York GIANTS Fan!!!!! Please i ask you from the bottom of my heart that you just read this letter and consider picking him.He was born in Queens New York and moved to San Jose California when he was little, He is a generation fan he watched with his father and his father watched with his Grandpa. We just started the next generation with our son.Every week we watch as a family and Mike and our son (Micheal) get their Giants gear on and watch the Giants bring home a win!!most game days we have to get up early and find a place that is televising the game because we live on the west cost and direct tv cost to much,He never misses a game. Mike could tell you ever stat and piece of Giants info and history that you could ever need to know!! He cries when they lose and in this last play off game when the took down Green BAY !! He ran outside and made sure that everyone knew that the Giants where in his word going to the BOWL!! then he came back inside and threw up he was so overwhelmed! He Loves his football team so much and he is the greats fan I know, i've been around football my hole life and i've never seen someone so dedicated to a team like he is.Most of all,I would like to see his dream come true of being there on game day, because he deserves it.He is a great father and a hard worker. we are a young couple and he works six days a week some times ten or tweleve hour days so that i can stay home and take care of our son and watch your show!! so Please Please just think of him !! He wont let you down as a Super Fan!! Go Gaints!!!

I have been a Patriots fan for as long as I can remember. Born and raised in Greenfield, Massachusetts meant there was no other Nfl team that could come close! Even amajor move to Wasilla, Alaska couldn"t damper my spirit. When I Adopted my son Jesse,he came home to a room that looked like the Patriots' locker room. Everything in it was "Patriots" from the rug on the floor to the wallpaper border. My son, husband(who was an avid greenbay fan), and myself are all attired in our Pats gear for Sunday games. Living in Alaska has made it difficult to view alot of games, but I make sure I see all the highlights on NFL rewind! I was never fortunate enough to see a game in person even when I lived in MaSSACHUSETTS, so now that we are in Alaska I doubt that I will ever sit in Gillette Stadium. Did I mention that I've been in Alaska since 1981! All this time and there is still no team like the Patriots! I love my team and I love you and all you do for so many.

Hello,
I am the biggest Patriots fan... I grew up watching them lose in the 70's and eighties. I have stayed with them for all the bad years and have to tell you the good is so much better. I had the opportunity to work for the old security company that they used (you can still see the yellow jacketed people from other branches on the sidelines of other games). I had planned to work for the new security they have "TeamOps" but two recent knee surgeries ruled that out. I did however get to work at the team hotel in Houston and meet form defensive coordinator Romeo Crennel and talked with several other players including Tom Brady. The stories I could tell you.....! Players wives can get really nasty at 4 a.m. when Snoop Dogg is on the stage. I had wanted to work at this venue since we found out this was the 2008 site. I would love more than anything to go and cheer on our team as they complete the PERFECT SEASON. My husband missed the last opportunity as he was deployed overseas at the time.....
We love you Ellen, we love Gladys and Jeff Corwin...(no more owls). Happy fiftieth the same day as my mom and Paul Newman.
Jean
GO PATS!!!!

Hi Ellen,
Football is an American phenomenon and the passion of fans struck my husband since he first moved to the US several years ago. He fell in love with all things New York, especially the Giants. And you know what that means: every weekend, the Giant's jerseys come out. What a fashion faux-pas... They are so unflattering and the bright colors are almost blinding. I used to be so embarassed running our weekend errands with him, but I've since gotten used to it and the comraderie that hails from all the other fans that we meet. Everywhere we go you hear people yelling at us "Go Giants" or "nice shirt man". And my husband Zack bears the largest grin you could imagine, nods in agreement, and turns to me to make sure I heard it as if to justify the times he yells similar things at people driving next to us or the guy he thought he saw turn down the chip aisle.
Winning these tickets would mean two things: One, it would make all of those times where I had to walk around with him in that oversized jersey and matching hat combo finally worth it and Two: He can stop encouraging our 19-month old son to collect all the coins he spots on the floor (and in the street) for his Giant's ticket slush fund.
Please, make my husband smile like a huge dork by sending him to the big game!
Sincerely,
Mary

hey ellen, I'm a huge fan of your show and the Super Bowl but the real reason I'm emailing you is because I have a passion for dancing and i am 12 years old and I have seen all of the kids that you put on your show and I was wondering if you would give me the same opportunity and if I got the chance then I would work my but off on a phenomenal routine just to impress and show you how much i love to dance and in a town like hayward it is extremely hard to catch a break.I know its probably a one in a million chance for me to be on your show but it would make me the happiest person alive even just meeting you would make me feel like I just met someone like the president but much better looking and much funnier. So if your reading this right now I hope that you even consitter it. Love one of your biggest fans Crystal give me a chance Hill.

Hi Ellen, I tried posting a comment on the other page I don't think it worked. So I apologize if this is a duplicate. But I AM THE BIGGEST GIANTS FAN. Don't believe the others. I've been a Giants fan since around 1977, the year of the Pasarchec fumble (I not sure how you spell his name). They didn't win hardly any games that year, all he (the quarterback) had to do is fall on the football. He fumbled it the Eagles picked it up and ran for a touchdown. Funny thing he was the quarterback for the Eagles the next year, sounds alittle fishy to me.
I had my son all by myself. My shower cake said "little lady, little man, defintely a Giants fan". He is 16 now. I don't even have anyone to watch the game with this year, he is going to his friends house.
I am also going to be 50 years old this year, what a great 50th birthday present it would be!! I've scalped tickets for MANY Giants games (probally 60 to 70 games) but never been to a superbowl, and with the Giants playing! I can't even imagine it, and getting to see your show on top of all that, OH MY GOD!
I am an RN at our local emergency room. I was able to get the day off, only with the help of my friends (they are working for me). I've saved many of lives, without even a thank-you, this would be the greatest thank-you ever!
I'll bring you a bottle of our best local wine. Thanks I think your awesome!

Hiya Ellen,

You are so absolutely right about not taking life too seriously! I only do when I have to. I much prefer to laugh, even at myself! I also love to make my friends and family laugh, it makes me happy to see them happy. I am proud of my "laugh lines"! I spent about an hour talking to my sister Lynne tonight. Telling her about some of the letters I sent you about her being the Pats JUMBAHUGAMALA, QUASIKA, MACEBRAJI fan in the hopes that you would choose her to go to the Super Bowl, she was in stitches over some of the stuff I wrote to you! It was so nice to hear that sound, sweet, like Gummie Bears!

It was also nice to hear that she went onto your web site to do an entry herself! Then she had me laughing when she told me, that she told you, that they would find a hobby for me soon so that I would stop writing to you! Thats my gal!

I knew that you would get her smiling again! As far as I know you haven't picked her as the Pats fan to go - but I will keep hoping! 'Cause that would just be the Field Goal to go with the Touch Down you just scored by making her smile! Thanks!

All My Best To You Always!

My name is Danette and I am writing about the biggest Patriots fan I know. He is one of my best my friends, William. We have been friends since the fourth grade and we are now 35. He is a huge patriots fan. Which was probably tough growing up because his dad is a Cowboys fan. But he stuck to his guns. He watches whenever they play and usually stays at home so he can holler at the TV. He has been a fan for as long as I can remember I myself am fan simple because Tom Brady went to Michigan. But Williams birthday is the 6th of February and what a birthday present that would be for him to go see his favorite team play and possibly make history.. He's just he best friend a girl could ask for. I tried to get him tickets when the Patriots played in Houston for the Superbowl but no tickets were available to the general public at that time, so what a treat it would be if you sent him. He would absolutely love it. I don't have any sad stories to tell you, just that he is a gigantic fan. You're the best and the only daytime talk show I enjoy watching.

Ellen and staff-
I am the proud single mother of a fanatical Patriot fan (my daughter) who learned the lessons of fanhood at my feet. We lived in Maine and are part of the Patriot nation, me now in NC and my daughter Emma at Michigan State.

We've had great times together as fans. We've been booed in New Orleans in the street by Steeler fans. She was the proud recipent of a Tom Brady fathead from her boyfriend which is displayed proudly on the wall of her dorm room.
We have jersey's, pajama pants, sweatshirts and the list goes on. I get catalogs from ESPN and the NFL cause we always need new gear. I have the Patriots website on saved on my favorites, along with Boston.com\patriots site. I come home and watch the Super Bowl press interviews. My favorite quote of the season is when Michelle Trafoya of ESPN said the "Patriots are the Supernannys of the NFL"

Please help our dream of watching the Pursuit of Perfection become reality at the Super Bowl. 19 and 0, yea baby!

dear ellen, i'm a huge fan of your how and I do absolutely love the the super bowl but thats not the reason i'm emailing you.The reason why is because I tried to do a regular email but it didn't work I tried to email you to say that i'm 12 years old and I have a passion for dancing and it would mean the world to me if I could dance on your show and actually get the once in a life time chance to meet you.It would be my big break but also the chance to make a 12 twelve year old girl the most happiest person alive.

Dear Ellen:

Yes, I am a Patriot's fan...after all I am a Bostonian..and I am a Loyal Ellen fan...I tune in to your show every day and love it! I'm writing to you on behalf of my son Ben who would have a fit if he knew I was sharing his passion with you. Ben is the world's BIGGEST PATRIOT FAN. He's an officer in the Navy now stationed in Virginia who has been serving for more than 20 years, so while out at sea he has missed a few games. But you can bet whenever he's back home, he's in front of the television if the Patriots are playing. Ben wears full gear from head to toe, including the underwear ...he even has his Patriot's banner in hand...such a sight to see...and no game is complete without his hot wings and beer. A few weeks ago, he missed out on the hot wings though because his wife set the kitchen on fire while trying to fix them... needless to say, it's been take out service ever since. Ben is the best dad to his four children, the best husband to his wife of ten years, the best son anyone could ever ask for. Ben's dad passed away two months ago and he misses him terribly...even though they didn't live in the same state, they watched every game and shared every play over the phone. It would be so wonderful if Ben could toast his dad at the Superbowl. I live in Phoenix and mentioned to Ben that at least he would have a place to stay if he could make it to the game. He told me that even if he could afford a ticket to the Superbowl, he couldn't get time off because he used all his leave time going to Atlanta to visit his dad in the hospital and overseeing his funeral. (I bet, if anyone can, you could make the SuperBowl happen for Ben, Ellen). There are thousands of fans, Ellen, but I KNOW MY SON BEN IS THE PATRIOT'S "BIGGEST" FAN!!!

Hey Ellen my son and Stepdad are the Biggest Patriots Fans> My stepdad, John has stuck with the Pats since they actually did not do so well, and my son has loved them since he was born. Between waiting in the snow to meet players to being in the snow at games, buying lunchboxes, backpacks, nightlights, bobbleheads, cards, shirts, scarves, jackets, blankets, chairs, you name it and we got it. They have never missed a game on tv and one superbowl they were in was on my son's birthday one year which happens to be Jan. 26 almost the same year as you (1996) but they truly deserve to go to the superbowl but as grandson and "Gramps' bonding time. I just think my son is a miracle after being born under 2 lbs and only a 40% chance of survival I just wuld like him to also witness something amazing and I know this is it!!!!!! I'd like to nominate my husband Jermaine as the biggest Patriots fan ever! Although he didn't see them in person until he was an adult (no NFL in the caribbean), he has been a die hard fan ever since. He deserves to go to the super bowl because he works really hard as a preschool teacher and is the best father ever to our 3 little girls, age 4 mos, 4 years, and 7 years. He does everything for them and even braids their hair. He also deserves to go because he puts up with all of the women in this house, who never give him a minute to enjoy the game. Ellen, you are the best! We watch you every day. Please consider my hard-working, humble, awesome daddy husband for this contest!

Hi Ellen

I have no idea which team my husband is rooting for and I don't watch that much sports, however, he loves football. He loves sports so much he is one of those people who knows a lot of trivia, it's intoxicating. He attended OSU (Oregon State University) here in Oregon so he is a huge fan of theirs. The reason I am writing is because my husband works his tail off to support my son Jack, me and our newest addition due in May. Our second son is on the way plus we have a dog Guinness (loving labrador) who constantly needs TLC. We are a busy couple who usually watches Friends reruns because I need my Friends to be whole and he deals with it plus I watch you every day to laugh! I would love for him to go and see the Super Bowl! He is a special man and I know he would love it so much. Please consider him...I think he wants the Giants to win, but I know he would just love to see a professional game without me in the background wanting to switch the channel. I plan to send you a picture of him and my son. They are the best men I know!

P.S.
You are so funny!

Hi Ellen
I am a BIG Patriots fan because of Randy Moss who was with the Minnesota Vikings for seven years. My husband and I went to several Vikings games in Minneapolis just to watch Randy play. I always felt that if I could just tutor Randy as a mother or a grandmother, I could get him to quit his on and off the field antics. He just needs a little "guidance".

Also Ellen, I need to get away from this COLD South Dakota winter. This morning it was 15 degrees below zero with a wind chill of 45 below. Wednesday is supposed to be colder yet! HELP!!

Love your show, Ellen. You make me laugh. I really like the way you get ordinary people on your show and give them a chance to shine.

Thanks for reading this Ellen.

A big fan, Nancy Hintz

Like you I turned 50 a few weeks ago and decided on that day that this is going to be a special year for me- I started the year off by going parasailing on my birthday. (I'm afraid of heights so this really is a big deal for me) I would love to add going to see the Patriots at the Superbowl on my list of things to do this year. I've been a fan of the Patriots since a was a young child- I can remember going to see them with my family when they played at Fenway Park (home of the other great team of Boston, the Red Sox). Then as I got older a neighbor had season tickets this was about the time that Gillette Stadium was first built and when the weather was lousy (rain, snow, sleet, cold, etc) it never failed that one of the family didn't want to go.Their tickets were up in the upper deck. This is when I would get the chance to go see my team- back then the team rarely won a game but it didn't matter to me. I would love to go. Ellen please send me to sunny Arizona !!! My ex-hubby is a Giants fan. Maybe that is why he is now my EX- I promise I can tolerate any giants fans out there- I feel bad for them since they are going to lose this game- Pats 19-0

for goodness sake!!!! read my email!!!
i sent you the MOST adorable picure of my grandson & me in our BRADY jersey's -- on Sunday evening - i know -- i KNOW - you've receive umpteen million other emails, comments & out right BEGGINGS for a shot @ the superbowl.

I was born & raised in New England, am a DIE-HARD N.E. Patriot fan & (hold on to your seat) - live in PITTSBURGH STEEEELER COUNTRY - with THE most HOSTILE STEELER fans - ever known to mankind! It is very very difficult to be a fan of my boyz around the western hills of PA - it's almost impossible -- it's like i have to be a CLOSET fan-- i am harrassed & abused by co-workers, my former husband (note the word FORMER -- i had to cheer SILENTLY in my own home!!) & strangers alike -- I was even pulled over in a parking lot & SCOLDED by some guy - because i had a New England Patriots Tire Cover on my JEEP... because i WILL wear my team colors - everywhere, anytime -- it's nut's.

I don't even get to watch the games all that much because -- it's all about Pittsburgh around here and the New England games are rarely seen in this area. & YET - i FOLLOW their progress faithfully.... my office is FILLED with signs, statues, banners, cups, candles, license plates -screen saver, mouse pad & my N.E. Pats Calendar -

OH - PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZ -- give a woman a break here - would ya??? I'm 47 -- I'm exhausted from living with SORE WINNERS as well as SORE LOSERS in this area - & would LOVE nothing MORE than to RUN out of my office tomorrow -- (when you CALL ME!!!! -- ) and SCREAM into their little Steeler faces - - I'M GOING TO THE SUPER BOWL -- because i AM A NEW ENGLAND FAN & WE BEAT YOUR BUTTS THIS YEAR - & I'M GLAD!!!! (says the quiet, Christian woman)......

Ok - i'll someone ELSE a chance to beg now

it's nearly bedtime.

ELLEN - you ROCK - i'll get out there some day to see your show!!!!

'til then - keep on keepin' on - & happy happy birthday - God Bless you sweetie --

Hi Ellen,
I'M THE BIGGEST GIANT FAN! Don't believe the others. I was watching your show today, is it to late to enter? I'm also going to be 50 this year, scalped many of tickets at Giants Stadium, but never been to a Superbowl, especially with the GIANTS in it. I had my son 16 years ago, and my shower cake said "little lady, little man, defintely a Giants fan". I don't even have anyone to watch the game with this year. My son is going to his friends.
I started watching and rooting for the Giants, about 1977, it was the year of the "Parsachek fumble" (of course, I'm not sure how to spell his name). They haven't won many games that year and they were winning against the Eagles, all he had to do is fall on the ball. He fumbled it, the Eagles took it and ran it in for the touchdown.
I'm an RN in our local Emergency room. I was able to get the day off, but only with alot of help from my friends (to work for me). I've saved many of lives, but now you can save mine. What a great 50th birthday present!
I also am your biggest fan. Love you

Dear Ellen,

I am emailing you, so that you might consider me for the Superbowl game. I am a fan of the Patriots! When we get together with friends to watch the game, they make me put a towel over my mouth. I can be too loud, they say. I just like being vocal.... I was also told to do something with my hands, since I am known to throw things, so now I have been knitting hats, and donating them to our elementary school. I have made over 35 hats. I will be making one or two during the Superbowl. Please consider me, so my friends, don't lose their hearing or get hurt.
Thank you,

Hello Ellen,
My wife and I are huge Pats fans as well as football fans. My wife more than me.
That is why she deserves to go to the superbowl.
Here is an example of her devotion to football and how she is more of a fan than me.
I once said to here that we needed to go food shopping and run some errands on a sunday. She then told me no and that football was on and I said "ooh football is on better not disturb my wife" in a very sarcastic voice. What was I thinking!

That is why she should take me to the superbowl!

Hi Ellen!
My name is Matt and I live in Maine. I entered this contest because my mom was watching the show and she saw the ad. I quickly wanted to answer so maybe I could take me and my dad to the super bowl(huge Pats fan, same with me). I've been a Pats fan for my whole life and I collect the players jerseys which I wear to school every day. My Dad is from Boston and he has been a Pats fan his whole life too, even when they never ever won any games, he never gave up. We come from New England and my parents have spent most of their lives hoping their favorite teams would win and now I get to be lucky enough to grow up when they do win - our Patriots and Red Sox keep us going all year round. It's the only t.v. we have on together and we plan our weeks around watching the Pats play during the football season and the Red Sox during baseball season. We love Teddy Bruschi and of course Tom Brady and Wes Welker and have so much fun watching them play every week. We are so proud of our team and we think they are so fun. So I would now like to give you my other reasons- for starters I love the Pats! I mean who wouldn't? They are humble and enthusiastic and it is so entertaining to watch them play. I have watched every game unless it was on a school night and I could only stay up till the first half was over=) Other reasons I would love to go is that Arizona is on my top five places to see before I'm in college because once I (hopefully) get into college all my money will be going to that. Why, you may wonder, why would I want to go to Arizona? Well, it has so many beautiful sites and it will be even beautifuler when the Pats are there! For my final reason, I want to spend time with my Dad since he commutes from Maine to Massachuets every day and doesn't get home till late. Also I think my Dad would LOVE to take a mini vacation and watch his favorite football team. It would be the trip of our lifetime and something I would never forget my whole life.
Thanks for your time! Matt

Hello Ellen
My brother Nicholas has special needs. He's 19 years old and is a huge Patriot fan. He does fake Brady passes and strained his shoulder like Randy Moss faking a catch. He's a fanatic. He goes online everyday a looks up the statistics. He has nookbooks filled. If you ask him the height or weight of anyone on the team he'll know it. Not only of his team but which ever team the Patriots may be playing against. Ellen, it would be an experience of a lifetime if he were to go. He would be talking about it for the rest of his life. It would be greatly appreciated by the whole family if Nicholas was able to go. Please consider him. Thank you! Sofia =]

Dear Ellen,
I'm the biggest Pats fan, as are my 7 week old, my 2 1/2 year old & my 8th grade sweetheart who became my husband!
In the last three years I have lost both of my parents. I was 8 months pregnant this last November when my mom passed. Anyway, my father & I were huge, huge fans together. I had 3 older brothers and he took me to games and made bets with me for the Superbowl. $5 - always. Mom joked that I was not her daughter! (She would watch the games with us though)
Anyway, I miss them both and would love to go to the Superbowl & TRY to be nice to a Giants fan. I play fantasy football with my friend Meg. We're the Pigskin Playmates! We usually win - beating my husband too! People know where I am every Sunday from sun up to sun down - watching FOOTBALL! We have the ticket so I can watch my beloved Pats. My son's room is decked out in Pats decor. We're ALWAYS dressed in Pats attire on Sundays. We live in Utah but that doesn't stop us!
I adore you!!!! Thank you for this contest!

Hey hows it going?
I love the New England Patriots! I sit and watch the games in my jersey much like all other fans. I feel one difference I may add to your Entertainment is I can get along with everyone and will add comic relief and be cute but, not sickening sweet.... I promise to add plenty of fun to any filming I may be a part of.The game will by no means be boring with me around.
My girlfriends, friends and family all purchase New England Patriots gear when they get ready for holidays for me. I could not be happier. I even have one of the old jersies with the old colonial hat instead of the new sonic sleak emblem. I will be 45 on Feb 8th and And would graciously accept a ticket and a ride to the Superbowl.
Thank you for the time and consideration along wiht all the wonderful changes you have made in the world.
Bring JOY!

Ellen,
I am writing for my nine year old grandson, Caleb. He LOVES the Patriots. I am writing in hopes that maybe he could win the tickets to go to the Super Bowl.
I think it would be nice for him since last year in June I lost a son which was his favorite uncle. Things have been pretty bad for our family since then. This would help him in so many ways. If not getting to the Super Bowl maybe some Patriot items.
Thank you for listening.

P.S. Love your show. I never miss your show. Thanks again. Peg Blackwell

Howdy, Ellen! Our Dad, Brian, is the BEST Dad in the world! He is originally from New York (Long Island)and he is a die hard Giants fan. Our dad was in the U.S. Air Force for 13 years, and was just recently medically discharged from the military as he is battling brain cancer. Ask anyone who knows him and they'll tell you he is the BIGGEST GIANTS fan ever.:) We love our dad and we can't even imagine his reaction if you ever called him and told him he had a shot at actually going to the Superbowl. He would probably do some kind of a dance as he's got moves. :)We don't know which he'd be more excited about...getting a call from you or the chance to go to the Superbowl. We love you, Ellen. We watch the show every day after school here in San Antonio, Texas.

Rock on!

Hi Ellen,
My son Monty is a big Patriots fan. He is in 3rd grade & is 8 yrs. old. He gets up at 6:00 a.m. to watch ESPN to get the latest scoop on what's going on in the football world. Monty is a very good student & an awesome quarter back himself. He wanted to do his bedroom with the Patriots theme but we haven't gone that far yet. I would like 4 tickets to the game: my husband Jim, my older son Blayne, Monty & one for me of course. I would also need a babysitter for my twin 3 yr. old daughters. You would enjoy them. They are as cute as the little girl that sang the 50 state song. We are so sick of this cold Nebraska. We would really love to warm up in AZ.

Thanks

Ellen,

It all started on a typical Sunday afternoon. I remember walking over and lying down with my dad on the couch, and when I looked up to see what he was watching, it was a Giants football game. I started asking him questions about the game and the team, and before I knew it, I was a Giants fan.
From then on, I was watching the games with my dad every week. For every birthday and Christmas I got some sort of Giants memorabilia. Over the years I’ve collected so much I’ve run out of room to put things! I’ve gone through more souvenirs, shirts, pajamas, and clothing than I can count. Rooting for the Giants has always been a family affair. I am a 3rd generation Giants fan on both sides of my family. Both of my Grandpas were Giants fans, as are my parents. My dad grew up in New Jersey, the home of Giants Stadium, and the family has always held season tickets. My uncle still holds those season tickets, but I’ve lived most of my life in Ohio and Indiana, so I’ve never actually been able to use them.
I have ventured my way to a few games though. One of them was late in December in Cincinnati, OH. It was well below freezing that day and our seats were three rows from the very top. Despite the cold, we stayed until the very end though, even though the Giants lost that day.
I also became extremely obsessed with the Giants when I was younger. I would always draw their symbol on things, I would read all about them. Once in art class, we had an assignment where we were doing our own creation of the last supper; we basically just drew it in the same format but with ourselves in the middle surrounded by whoever we wanted. While everyone else was drawing themselves with friends or family, I was drawing myself with all of my favorite Giants players. My art teacher gave me a little bit of a weird look when I told her what I was doing, but it still got an A.
I have been waiting my whole life for this opportunity. The Giants have been to the Superbowl two other times in my lifetime. The first I was just a baby, and the second I was still too young. This is the first time I’ve had a real shot at seeing the Giants play in the Superbowl, but my parents are paying college tuition for both my sister and me, so funds are already tight.
My only real hope for tickets is through this. I really love you and your show and I think it is awesome you’re doing this for your fans. You’re one celebrity who reaches out and finds a way to have something for ALL of her fans. Thanks so much for the opportunity. Oh and…GO GIANTS!!!!!

-Michelle Manzo

I'm a an(Hand over the mouth) Mom. Mother of seven . Six females and one son. The Last! I'm more then blessed when it comes to him.
There is nothing he would not do for his mom....
except give up one of his patriot games. For his sake I tried to learn more about the game, but I have to admit, all I did was make him laugh. He hasn't had much to look back on since his father past when he was 12. I know that what I could give him that would top anything I could do for him is to tell him he was getting to go to the Super Bowl for the first time in his life. Wow! You Ellen can make it happen. He is now 41 and a very talented guitarist. His third love. I've read some of the letters and I know it's going to be difficult to choose the right people. You can be sure alot of prayer goes with my request.

Dear Ellen,
I am a single mom with a 17 year old son, Patrick. I TiVo your show everyday and unwind after teaching high school math all day by watching your show. We live in the Boston area and Pat has always been a die-hard Patriots fan. My father Jim lives in New York and has always been a die-hard Giants fan.

Jim is the best grandfather ever and loves to watch Pat play sports and to take him to other sporting events. Dad travels more than 8 hours (NY to Boston and back) at least once every two weeks just to see Pat play basketball on his varsity team.

I would love more than anything for them to be able to both go to the Superbowl and each root for their favorite team. I know they would get along and no matter who wins have the best time.

Thanks for all that you do and are.

Sincerely,
Kendra Song

I am not a football fan, but, my husband is the BIGGEST Giants fan I know. In the last game of the playoffs he put a hole in our wall durring a bad call or something like that!! Anyways, he promised that we would go to the superbowl if the Giants go, and well, needless to say, the tickets cost more than he expected. That's not the entire story, I would really love to go for more selfish reason, I haven't seen my parents in 2 years, and they haven't seen the grandkids since either, and they live 1 hour away from where the superbowl will be. I would really love to see them, so please pick us Ellen!!!

Hello Ellen, how are you doing? I’m a huge patriots fan and have been for years. Unfortunately I’m from Toronto and all we have is CFL which is a mutant form of American football but not as entertaining. I was able to see them in buffalo where I was the only person in my section with patriots gear, and in fear of my life if I showed my patriot fan hood but I did anyways even though I got yelled at and they weren’t using the nicest of words and even had drinks thrown at me. Just to let you know I stayed to the end even though it was a blowout because I didn't want to miss a second Even when I attended school in Scotland for four years I watch every game they showed with my gear on even if it meant staying up till four in the morning when I had an exam at eight the same morning. It would also mean allot to my dad who always wanted to go to a super bowl but couldn’t afford it because of the five kids he had to provide for. If we go to the game I’d be forever thankful.

I work with The elderly as a CNA, and my wife works 9-5 as a secretary, and I go to college full time on the weekends. My daughters are all in an average of two sports each and we still make time to sit together and have our own gametime party every weekend. My daughters are 12,11,9,8,and 4 and they go to giants camp and meet the players with me every summer. I have been a Giants fan forever through good and bad and this would be a once in a lifetime event, and would mean the world. We will be watching and hoping.

Ellen,
After picking up the kids from school today, of course, we had your show on, and we heard that you are looking for the biggest football fans. I love football as well. My 9 year old son, Lucas, is a huge Giants fan. I don't know really where this came from - we are from IA originally and live in SD so we naturally are Vikings fans. This year Lucas decided to go for the Giants. We all became Giants fans when they beat the Cowboys and the Packers. He loves Eli Manning and Plaxico Burress. He knows a lot about the game and all about the players. During the weeks before the playoffs, he has worn something "Giant" everyday to school and on weekends. Thankfully he has several shirts (thanks to Christmas gifts and his birthday being in Dec.) so I am not doing laundry everyday:) Basically, he has worn Giants attire for the last 4 1/2 weeks straight. I am going to let him wear his Jersey to church on Sunday. Well, it would be more fun if he could wear it to the real Super Bowl game. We love you and all you do. It's nice to see people in your position doing some really great, positive things. This would be a huge treat for us! Thanks for considering us!

Dear Ellen, I am a 45 year old female who is a huge Giants fan, and am also a huge fan of your show. I have signed autographed photo's of myself, my son and grandmother, and Giants players on the wall from when we went to the Giants training camp about five years ago, and stopped going because my grandmother's health is not that good. she is also a big Giants fan, and probably knows more history about the Giants then anyone I know.I live in a small town in Vermont and everyone is New England fans and I have to hear about the Patriots constantly. My work's headquarters is in Boston, so I also hear about how great the Patriots are from them. To win this would be a dream, and possibly keep people quiet, and by the way if I do win I could get out of a two day seminar for work! ha!This also should prove to you I could exists with those Patriot fans in the VIP seats.(I've been doing it for 22 years) By the way if I don't win could you at least mention my name so I can get out of that seminar!Happy Belated B-day

Dear Ellen, I am a big Giants fan and I would do anything to go to the super bowl and see the Giants play, I have seen them at training camp with a friend and it was so cool, the only thing is it was on the same day we had to have our cat of 15 yrs. put to sleep and that was hard. I am the only one in my house that always roots for them , my dad likes another team and we always watch games together and root for our favorite, which of course mine is the Giants. I watch your show and you make me laugh it is alot of fun! Thanks, Justin Jones 9 yrs. old The Biggest Giants Fan!!! P.S. I have liked the Giants since I was 3 yrs. old

He turned 60 this year and he got absolutely nothing for his birthday from his wife.. no card, no gift no party.. not even birthday sex... How sad is that. I would like to give him the best present ever.. A trip to the superbowl. However to do that I would need your help as finicially its not possible for me to pull it off. If he were picked to go to the game it would be the best present ever.

Love your show, it brings a smile to my face everyday. Can't ask for more than that.

Dear Ellen, My husband of 30 years ( this may) is the biggest Giants fan ever. We have 4 children, 3 boys who also grew up as Giants fans. My husband would take the boys when they were little to the Walter Camp Foundation dinners every year, they had just about every ones autograph on the team. They had shirts, signs, flags, anything you could think of. One day all there stuff was in our garage because we were moving and while we were not at home a group of kids set the garage on fire, all those years of saving Giants stuff was lost. There was nothing left to save. That was a few years ago the boys are older now and realize that it couldnt be replaced but the memories were still there. The only one that didnt get over it was my husband.... He still whines about it. It would be such a thrill if he could go to the supper bowl. It would also give my daughter and myself a break!!!! thanks

I am 73 yrs old and just love the Giants. They do their summer training 15 minutes from here at the University of Albany in Albany, NY. I love watching them practice and go there as often as I can. Hi Ellen,

Got to be honest...we're PATRIOT's Fans!!! But we don't have all kinds of team memorabilia. We just watch them on TV. We're thrilled they have a "perfect season" going and hope they can make history at the Super Bowl. I'd actually like the ticket for my husband. He's going to be 66 this year and has never been to a Super Bowl game.
We enjoy watching your show every day...you really have a knack for making people smile.

Hi Ellen!
I'm a big Tom Brady fan and would love to see him play in person. I bet he's even better looking in real life! I enjoy football, but I specifically enjoy watching the Patriots because of Tom. My 8 year old son is even starting to tease me about my "boyfriend" and my husband gets jealous when I watch the game. :) My sister-in-law risked her neck buying me a Brady jersey. (We live in Bear country). It would be cool to get to wear it to a game. I don't know that I would get a chance to see them play otherwise. Consider me! My other sister-in-law has agreed to keep my four kids if I win. I'm not sure what to do about my husband...Guess I'll have to think on that one. :) Keep up the good work. If you're giving away any tickets to one of your stand up comedy shows count me in! I loved "Here and Now" on HBO!

Dear Ellen,
I was just watching your show and had to run down to the football room as soon as I heard about the super bowl contest. The computer is kept in the football room so that we can check fantasy football while watching the Giants play.

My entire family loves the Giants. We have traveled far and wide to attend games. When we went to New Orleans to watch them play the Saints, they were having a particularly bad season. We, therefore, wore paper bags over our heads. The Saints' fans were just terrific and got a big laugh over our attire.

As a Connecticut resident, I am surrounded by Patriots' fans. I don't understand it as the evil Bob Kraft used Connecticut and its residents to blackmail Massachusetts into a new stadium. He did this not once, but twice. The Giants, on the other hand, have even played in Yale Bowl.

Now that I'm retired, I try to watch your show every day. I love your wit and kindness, but especially the dancing. My goal in life is to take dance lessons and join the dancing grannies. Next to the Giants, dancing is the best thing in the whole world.

Hi Ellen,
Welcome to the 50 is niffty club! I hit the big 50 2yrs ago and life couldn't be better. Have grown up in the Boston area and am an avid Boston sports fan of all our teams. It's been a long time coming for Boston Sports Teams!
More importantly though, I've tried forever to get tickets to your show to no avail. You rock and are one of the few celebreties who have remained open, honest and true to yourself! What a role model! I was lucky enough to get to see the Pats clench the AFC title in person. (funny family story of how that happened). There's nothing like feeling completely part of it all by being there 'live'. You are aware of the rivalry between NY and New England and there's nothing I'd like more than to show a fellow 'fan' that we really are nice people and fans here in Boston. If winning the chance to enjoy the Superbowl with an equally as enthusiastic and genuine fan from the other side would get me the chance to enjoy your show, up close and personal than I'm your fan!

HI Ellen,
I would like to take my wife to the Super Bowl.
She is an avid Colts fan and said " If the Colts can't get back there, she would love to go and see his brother. You see she blames herself for the colts losing, she wore the pink shirt instead of the Colts Jersey, she said she would never wear it again. She really does love football(even more than me). Thank you and if We go we will wear The Manning Giants jersey 10.

In my house growing up every Sunday we knew..."do not walk in front of the tv when football was on" because my father was so glued to the tv you would have thought he was on the field playing. He would yell this bellowing "UH AHHH OHHH GET OUT OF THE WAY" so loud that I swear the neighbors could hear him. He once had breakfast with some of the players at a hotel in Washington DC and they said he new their stats better than they did. He passed away several years ago and my mom has inherited his passion for the Patriots. In fact she is so obsessed that I think she channels him. If any of us kids call during a Football game (she has caller ID) She will say, "This had better be good or life threatning my Patriots are on" Its a huge joke in our house and not a holiday goes by now where one of us 4 kids gets her something with the Patriots theme. Its all she talks about. She talks about the players so much that you think its someone that she knows personally. After the football season is over she is in withdrawal. If she is talking football with someone that doesnt follow it, she will try and educate them. My son is in college for Sports Journalism and she is so anxious for him to finish so he can cover "her" Patriots. Its really crazy. If she could get to go to the Patriots that would be the ultimate gift to her. We would never be able to top this!!

Hi Ellen, My name is Emi. I'm not asking for superbowl tickets for myself, but for my mom. She turned 50 on the same day as you did and she's always had this idea that she'd go to the superbowl right after her 50th birthday... but my little sister got pretty sick this year and my mom ended up spending her superbowl money on medical bills... She's given up on the superbowl idea, but I think it would be the expirience of a life-time. And my mom definitely deserves it. I hope you get back to me ellen.
Love you mucho.

I'm not a big football fan, but I do like the Giants. My husband and son are HUGE football fans and would love to go to the game. We've been having a really hard time these past few years and I have been trying to win them tickets at prilosec sweepstakes for next year. It would mean a lot to them (and me cause I would have some peace and quiet) if they could go see this HUGE game. They NEVER, EVER win anything and they really need to win something. We watch you all the time and I never have to worry about something inappropriate being said in front of my 10 year old son. I think it's wonderful how you never deliberately hurt anyone's feelings. By the way, was that bachelor guy for real or what. I had a hard time believing him, but anyway way off the subject. PICK US PLEAE!!!

Dear Ellen-
My husband of only 7 months is the BIGGEST Giants fan ever & here's why:

1. When he proposed to me he timed it perfectly so that he would be finished and we would be at the restaurant to celebrate just as the Giants game started.

2. The first time we had sex was during halftime of a Giants game and right afterwards he yelled GO GIANTS...

3. We ended up being engaged a year and a half because we couldn't get married during football season in case that would cause him to miss a Giants game.

Todd is the FUNNIEST, most LOYAL Giants & Ellen fan ever...he won't admit it but everyday he comes in at 11 from work and dances with you (he would kill me if he knew I told this to anyone!!).

TODD is by far the BIGGEST Giants fan EVVVVER!

Dear Ellen, Over the past years ,at Super Bowl time you have asked for stories and I have had a a good one. My family has always been Pats fans. My husband even has his superstitions: every game we have to sit in the same spot, were the same thing (for me it has meant the same ripped [lucky] sweatshirt for years, every game. So when the Pats went to the first Super Bowl in 2005 and he had a chance to go I said go for it!! He drove from Cape Cod to Jacksonville. Unfortunately just as he was getting to Florida I began to have what appeared to be a stroke. I didn't realize what was happening to me over the course of the morning , the left side of my body and face was numb. I figured it was a headache and I would sleep it off but my friend figured from what I was saying that I needed help. So with her threat of an ambulance I went to the hospital (ya I drove ,I really didn't know what I was doing). When I got there and started to realize what was wrong with me and my family arrived, I made them all promise not to tell Tim (my husband) what was going on. The lie was going really well , for a few days , I was having all kinds of tests and things UNTIL my cousin called my husband's cell phone and asked him some question about the stroke.... what stroke!!!!! and you can just imagine what broke loose!!!! He wanted to get right home I insisted he stay and he tried anyways but getting a flight out of a Super Bowl city during a Super Bowl is nearly impossible. He stayed there and I stayed in the hospital for a week . We got home a day apart and he brought me a hat from the game which go very nicely hospital booties. This sounds like an older lady story not a 39 year old. I hope you get a laugh .

Dear Ellen, I have 2 sons (42 and 44) who are tremendous fans of the NE Patriots. They are loving brothers and best friends. My boys have grown into men that any mother would be proud of. They both have children, and when I saw them changing diapers, I was amazed. As much as I would love to attend the Super Bowl, mobility issues keep me close to home. What a wonderful gift to my sons, if I could give them this surprise!! I think you have truly found your place in entertainment history since you started your talk show. I count myself among your many fans.

Best wishes, Rose Giarrusso

We have a sports bar at home and always have superbowl parties but never been to a game. It would be SOOOOOOOOOO cool! My whole family are fans. It would be a great 18th/graduation gift to get to go to the game. My twin and I will be 18 June 6,08 and we graduate HS on June 14th so we have a big summer coming up!
You rock Ellen!!!!! Love you!!!!

Hi Ellen!! My family used to go to every home Giant game in NJ - but we have since all moved to different areas of the country - we are HUGE Giant fans and would love to have that family reunion in AZ (actually, I live in AZ, so no airline ticket needed for me) - but my mom, dad and sister are in FL - I only see them 2 x's a year! What a great surprise that would be to get tickets to this UNAFFORDABLE game to go see! Tickets are CRAZY expensive!

Hope you would consider my family!! We would love to see each other again! My parents have always GAVE GAVE GAVE to us - would love to GIVE GIVE GIVE them superbowl tickets!!

Thanks Ellen for the chance - you are the best!!

Hi Ellen,

I just adore you. You are kind, giving, funny, and a joy to watch. Between working as a special Ed. assistant at a middle school and my own family I keep very busy. However I always make the time to watch you from 3:00-4:00.
My family and I are huge Pats fans. They are a team with class and determination. With their team philosophy and classy attitudes they are great role models for todays kids. I can remember when I was in high school the Pats would come to play basketball against our teachers. Needless to say they were not doing as well then as they are now but I enjoyed follwoing the team anyway. Although I follow several of the players I have to say Teddy Bruschi is one of my faves. I always thought that he was a down to earth guy. I just recently read his new book and now I think even more highly of him. He truly cares not only for his family and friends but for his fans, the community, stroke survivors, and the game of football. He is an inspiration in so many ways. Seeing the Pats in the superbowl would be a chance of a lifetime for my husband, two children and I.
Keep up the great work Ellen. You are also a tremendous inspiration. I wish more people would live their lives like you do. What a happier place the world would be.
Happy belated Bday!!

Ellen,
I get up early each day to watch your show. It is my "happy" time each day. I think you should send some of your Hawaii chairs to the super bowl for the players to sit in when they are off of the field to keep them active. We are major fans of the Patriots, especially Tom Brady and Tedy Bruschi!!! Go Pats!!!! Keep on keepin on and thanks for you.

I just want to say you are the most wonderful human being I have ever witnessed. Your show is the best, it just makes me happy for the rest of the day. I never know what you are going to do next, but I know its always going to be funny. I don't want the tickets for the super bowl for me although that would be nice, I want them for my sons, ( I have a daughter also but I don;t think she cares about football.) My son Stephen who is 32 he played football all his life, he played football in Austria for a year and he coached football for high school in Maryland, until his sons were born then he had to quit.My son Michael who is 28 has had it tough all his life and he lives and breathes football they both do. I was a single parent raising three small children and we ate mac and cheese sometimes day after day after day, and never once did they ever complain about the food, the lack of clothes or not having the "in" sneakers back then. They were always happy and bascially good kids. I've never really had the finances to give them anything really big, tickets to the super bowl would be a dream come true for them. Please never leave TV. You are the best. Love Kathie Schrass

end entry

Hey there E. First let me start by saying Happy belated birthday to you, Happy belated birthday to you, Happy belated birthday to the best host on tv who just turned fifty, please pick meeeeeeee! Happy belated birthday to you! I could sing it to you if you pick me.
Well I am a huge Giants fan who, get this, lives in Patriot country. I live in Boston, where it is so hard to be a N.Y. fan of any kind. I have never won anything before, and I probably wouldn't win this either, but I'll give it a shot.
As much as I would like to go to the Super Bowl, I am really writing for a guy who's name is Al. He is probably the biggest Giants fan, besides myself. His wife is cool enough to let him decorate their basement with everything Giants. My wife, not so cool. He has pictures, helmets, fat heads and everything in between. He watches every game religiously. He recently has been diagnosed with a major illness that has taken a lot out of him. He drives a truck, but when he's not, he helps out troubled teens.
He may not have the strength to play for these tickets, but I would love to play for them for him.
Please consider Him. He deserves them. Thanks
Jonathan

My dad is the BIGGEST Patriots fan you will ever meet! He has been their fan since the 70's even when they stunk. He is the truest fan you'll ever meet, he has never given up on his team. The only clothing he owns has Patriot symbols on them. He even decorated our basement in complete Patriots theme with everything from posters, bobble heads, helments, rugs, trashcan, stuffed animals, and even a cut out standup cardboard poster of Tom Brady. If he had to chose between the Patriots and his kidneys, he would definently chose the Patriots. I get emails from him everyday with random Patriots facts. You will never meet a big Patriots fan than my dad. He wears his grey sweatshirt, the same one as Bill Belichick on every game day. My dad has worn his Patriots gear his whole life even in Dolphins and Jets areas. He loves the Patriots as much as he loves his family. My dad deserves to go to the Sueprbowl more than anyone in the Universe. He would die and go to heaven if he could see the Patriots in the Superbowl. This would be the perfect time for my dad to win this too because his best friend just passed away of brain cancer. My dad's friend was the only person he would talk to when the game was on and this will be the first game he'll be without him. Pleaseeeeee give my dad superbowl tickets!! He would buy them himself but he can't afford them since he is paying for both me and my brother's college education. He needs this and believe me I know for a fact you will never find a bigger fan!

end entry

I am a HUGE Giants fan. As the principal of a Catholic school we talk every Monday morning about how the Giants did before we start the school day. I lost a bet with one of the parents and had to be dressed in Cowboys gear in front of the entire school. When the Giants beat the Cowboys in the playoffs, everyone got a no homework pass. When the Giants beat Green Bay, we had snocones as a treat. We can't wait until the Giants win the Super Bowl. The kids are hoping for a day off from school. (It could snow.....) I have Giants posters and helmets and hats and bears and trading cards all in my office. We even secretly decorated the maintenance office with Giants posters since he is a Patriots fan. I have a great time talking with the students about football and would love to share my Super Bowl experience with them. Last year I shared my road trip online and this would be a great learning experience for the whole school. Thanks for giving me the chance and GO GIANTS!!!!!

end entry

Hey, Ellen, I watch you every day. I can't wait to put my son down for his nap so that I can watch you without a three year old running around. My husband and I are huge football fans. Our team of choice is the Indianapolis Colts, but we love the whole Manning family. I actually got my husband tickets to see the Colt/Patriots play back in November and since I wasn't with him, I didn't get to go to the game. He went with my dad instead. He is in the military so we don't have the extra money to throw around on tickets to games. I used to hate football until I met my husband and now I yell at the TV more than he does. Our Sundays, Monday nights, Thursday nights and Saturday nights revolve around football. One of the tv's in our house is always on the NFL network. I want to go to the Super Bowl more than words can even express. I don't care what it takes. I even doubled my son's birthday party with a Super Bowl party last year. He didn't care too much but I loved it. Please send me to the big game. My husband already got his turn this year, now it is mine. I love you so much, please keep making me laugh every day.

PLEASSSEEEE! I would love to send my husband-- he is the the BIGGEST football fan you have ever seen. After Superbowl, he actually grieves and mourns. He's already saying that after Superbowl, there will be nothing on TV unil preseason. He will, though, sit and watch re-runs! Maybe if you choose him, he will have something to talk about after SuperBowl instead of moping around the house.

Also, we not too far from your hometown. Wouldn't it be great sending someone from the South to represent the great state of LOUISIANA!

GOOOOOO Eli Manning!!!!! GOOOOOO Giants!!!!

Happy Belated B'day. You're the best!

Okay I don't have anything oowee, goowee or mushy to say, just that my son, Todd has been a Giant's fan since he could talk (I just made that up I really don't remember) well a long long time since he was a little boy. He doesn't have any tatoo's of the Giants, he does have a tatoo but it is of our family crest. Because I told him he could only get one and now he will never forget his last name. Anyway I just think it would be funny if Todd had to stay in the same room as a Patriots fan. He is 6'3 probably 220 and a cowboy from Missouri. He is trying find tickets now but of course you can't find them. His father and I live in California and everytime the Giant's play my son is calling his dad through out the game. He is truly a Giants fan, for football and baseball. Todd is a gentle giant, but when it comes to his football team he is not so gentle. He has a super sense of humor so you would have some good stories. So pick Todd and you can't go wrong. Debra (his mom)

Ellen, I bet if you asked anyone in Washington State who the #1 Pats fan was, you would get a resounding reply "BANYAN HARRIS". He has worn a Patriots jersey, hat, watch, necklace, you name it he has worn at least one everyday for the last 3 years. He is 11 and has a heartbeat that says "go Pats..... go Pats......Go Pats". we're canadian, and even so, we dont watch the CFL (kind of the nfl of canada with like..different rules) he sticks with the giants and because they play every sunday, skips out coming to watch me play soccer to sit and watch the game for the two of us. and the minute i get home i plop my butt down beside him and watch the game. sometimes, causing me to not finish my homework because i procrastinate. hahaah. PLEASE ellen. please please. pick my dad. he deserves it as hes stuck by eli manning through his bad and good games. stuck by the old team and the new. he's the fan who deserves the tickets.

Dear Ellen,
My name is Jenna, I was watching your show like I do and tape everyday and as soon as you said you are looking for fans for the super bowl I ran to my computer because I know the perfect person, My father in law Kenny. Kenny whom I call “Dad” is a HUGE GIANTS FAN AND REALLY DESERVES THIS TICKET! Not only is he a fan of you, he is the biggest Giants fan I have ever seen. Dad is such a big Giants fan he would probably go to ANY Giants game (Pre-season, regular season, post season) with TO (Terrell Owens) who plays for the Dallas Cowboys the Giants biggest rival. He used to watch the games with his dog a St. Bernard Chelios who passed away this past year which crushed him. I’m a Miami Dolphin fan and this past season the Giants played them in England, we watched wishing we were there. Dad got Miami vs. Dallas and instead of taking his guy friends he chose to take my sister in law Amy, my husband David and I. I can think of a ton reasons other than him just being a fan that dad deserves the ticket. Dad would give just about anyone the shirt off his back. When no one in our house was working he took on extra days bartending at a Golf country club so he could help every single one of us, regardless if it was for a bottle of pop or a car payment, he didn’t even blink he would just give us what ever we needed! Dad is always asking us if we need anything at all. My husband and I found out we were going to have a baby and bought a house in July 2007. Dad who is 26 years older than us moved all of our belongings into our new home while I went to see my mom and dad in NY and my husband was at work. Dad has no children of his own but treats all of us as if we were his. I had the baby in November 07. While I was giving birth dad very calmly and patiently waited outside the room to see his very first grandson and I. He visited Zachary and I for 10 or 15 minutes, then went to get me stuffed crust pizza from pizza hut which I love. I know if it was Miami he always he would do it for me or the Bills for my mother in law, my husband or sister in law. I guess Ellen what I am trying to say is PICK MY DAD. It would really mean the world to him to go and see his team play in the super bowl that he has loved for many years.
Tons of Love Sincerely, Jenna A. Raab

Dear Ellen,

How are you today? I am watching your show right now like I do everyday. Watching your show is funny and do make my days happier. Just wanted to share with you I have a son who will be 9 on 2-02-08. This kid is such a football fan, from morning to bedtime he watches nothing but football. I just wish for his birthday I could take him to a super bowl game. He was so sad the day his team lost- Colts. He is rooting for the GIANTS, his birthday cake says GO GIANTS, SUPER BOWL XL11. Have to go pick him up now. Have a great day.

Lots of love your way.

We are huge Giant fans and our family has been for life. Since birth, we've dressed my daughter in Giants gear (she now 11) and every week we faithfully cheer for our team. We need to go to the Giants game so my daughter can show the real fans how we do a belly bump for EVERY score! (she'll need the VIP area since she gets a running start). We tried to get tickets to this great event but the Ellen Show must have bought them all because there's none left. PLEASE take my daughter and me to the game!!!!!!!!

Hi Ellen, I am a big fan of you and the NY Giants. I'm glad that your birthday went so well and hope you have many more just as fun. Anyway, this is the third time I am sending this as I cannot seem to get posted. I live in the mountains of New Jersey and I am surrounded by fan of "everyone else". No Giants fans in my hood!!! The last playoff game I actually had my 11 year old neighbor come over to taunt me about the Giants not making it into the Superbowl. He is originally from Mass. and before the game even ended he felt the need to torture me. He even laughed when I told him the game wasn't over yet and the Giants will pull it off. Ellen, I believe I should go to the Superbowl as I am a diehard Giants fan. I would also love nothing more than to rub it in 11 year old John's face!!! I guarentee you great video if you choose me to go with a Pat's fan. It will be a chance of a lifetime for me and I won't let you down. Just give me a Pat's fan and some tickets, I'll even use my own video camera to record ALL the events. Hope to hear from you soon and I'll be watching like I do every day, I love to dance with you and my 3 year old (she loves you too). Take care and I'll be waiting for your call. Thanks, Melissa

I WANT HIM OUT! PLEASE SEND HIM TO THE SUPER BOWL! Just kidding...but really, any man who has the patience to teach his wife about football and enjoys it, deserves to go. Especially if he's a Giant's fan. And yes like most fans, if it meant getting along with a Pat fan, he too would have the tattoo, and the memorabillia hanging up all over the place (if he were single)but he isn't (he's a good melon) For the last 13yrs he's been busy working hard, helping to raise a family, and never thinking of himself. A true team player. So what better way to reward an unsuspecting husband than to send him to see his favorite team in the Super Bowl. We love you Ellen! Thanks for the laughter every day!!!!

Hello Ellen. I hope I'm not too late for the superbowl giveaway. I have been watching you since I lost my job, but since my cable was shut off...I missed a few. I am a true Patriots fan but I live in NY. Can you say drama? My whole family thinks I am a trader as they are Giants fans. Therefore, this superbowl means the most to me as we are finally head-to-head in the superbowl. Please send me so I can say....nananananana!!! Luv your show and happy Birthday Ellen.
Go Patriots!!!!!
Sincerely,
A NY Patriot fan!

hello ellen,
I am writing to you because first i am a big fan of your, i try to watch everyday. Also i am writing to you about the Patriots biggest fan contest. I am a 36 yr. old single mom to a 17 yr, old son and we are the biggest fan of the Patriots, I have promised my son that one day soon i will be able to take him to a Pats game, but come up short because there are always bills to pay. I would love to give him this chance to see his favorite team play in the biggest game of the season, In the biggest year of his life. He will be graduating in June and going to collage to play football and to be a welder. If i can do this for him, it would make up for all the broken promises i have had to make just to keep food on the table, and a roof over our heads. Thank you for this chance to make my sons dreams come true.

Hi Ellen,
I watch your show, however not faithfully. But I do love it. I have had my hours changed at work and I do not get off until 4:00 pm, that is what time your show comes on in my area. I was getting off at 3:00 and had plenty of time to get home and plant myseft in front of the TV.

I was looking on your website today and saw the Super Bowl fan thingy. I am not a Gaints or Patriots fan, rather I am a total NFL fan, I LOVE IT. My friend and I were in a fantasy football league this year and we were tied for the best record in our division. Unfortunately, we got beat in the playoffs and did not win the big money. We did get money back for having the best record though (not bad, if ya ask me). Any who I would love to go to a Superbowl game and I have always wanted to go to Arizona.

I think the Patriots will win, but I would love to see the Gaints beat them!!! GO GAINTS!!!

Hi Ellen,

I'm the ultimate Patriot's fan--but I'm writting for my husband and children. I've had major back surgery (second in two years) so I'm on bed rest--my family is just awesome and I would love to tell them that Ellen is sending them on a well deserved break from the sick room! I watch your show every day, I laugh with you, cry with you and yes Ellen even dance with you in bed!!! Everyone knows they can't call between 9:00 am and 10:00 am because I'm watching your show--even my doctor's office has that note! Thank you for considering my family.

Happy Belated Birthday!

Good Day Ellen,
My husband, Art, has ALWAYS been a Giants Fan!
He's hoping, this year, to witness a Patriot ban.

He loves the Giants, good or bad.
They sure can make him happy or sad.

He yells and screams; then looks at the dog.
And quietly says, "Its the Giants, not you, Kiko!".

He was thrilled in '86 and '91.
Giant Superbowl wins; (not that you're football dumb).

I actually watched the WHOLE game last week.
He said, "They'll not make it, I can barely peek."

Ho, Ho, that's a good one; likely more, he shrieked:
"That's crazy, things are getting hazy, they finally stopped being lazy, and you'd be quite the daisy, if you sent me to AZ..."

"But I know you, you'd make me room with a Pat.
But I'd do it if I had to, and that's that!"

"I'll treat him to beers, and not notice his tears.
When I'm the Giant winner, I won't Patronize him either, dear!"

Rather watch you...but don't tell Art!
Thanks for all you do,
Marion

Ellen, Love your show it's great to laugh everyday, Thank you! I heard about your super bowl day and thought I'd tell you about my six year old son. He is a big Patriots fan as am I. At his school book fair this year he got a book about Tom Brady. He has learned that Tom went to Michigan for college and was quartback there. Now Jamin my six year old has his life all planned out already. He's going to go to Michigan and play football and than play for the Patriots after that, just like Tom Brady. We watch every game and Jamin sits on the couch with football in hand and says he's the back up quart back sitting on the bench. He runs replays through our living room when the Patroits make a great play. Before every game he plays his play station football game he's the Patroits against them team they play that day. When he is done he lets us know that the Patroits are going to win today because they won in his game. I just wanted to share his story with you and maybe in the years to come we will be watching him play in a super bowl.

hi ellen, i'll be honest I never watch your show, but surfing the net I found your contest offer. I attend the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown,PA. and I'm doing my internship at a local T.V. station. I'm not a particular Giant fan or a Patriot fan but when it comes to football (the Superbowl)their is not a bigger fan. The only thing on my T.V. is ESPN, ESPN 2, NFL NETWORK,or just anything that has to do with sports. If you walk into my apartment you know right away that I'm a football fan. I've lost four girlfriends(one I almost married) to football. If that's not a fan I don't know what is. I would love to see the Giants upset the arrogant Patriots but the Patriots should win 35-24.

Ellen, Ellen, Ellen,

I Want to send my son Casey to the Superbowl. He "Bleeds Giants Blue" We are big big fans! Casey is away at college in Mass and I can't imagin him having to watch the game with an entire school of Pats fans. What a great suprise this would. If we can't watch together, at least he can be where there will be a lot of other Giants fans. GO GIANTS!!!!!!!

Hi Ellen and happy belated birthday to you. I love your show and everything you do for so many people. I am a huge New England Patriots fan. Since Tom Brady went to the University of Michigan, (my home state), I have always been a Tom Brady/New England Patriots fan. If you watch football, you would understand why I am not a Detroit Lions fan. My 14 year old son is also a huge football fan. His favorite team is the Green Bay Packers, who the New York Giants beat. Here's to another 50 years!!!!

Hi Ellen!
First of all, you rock, you really do,and you can dance too girl! Happy Belated Birthday! I watched today and had to write in for my love, Sean "Seanboy" Carrigan, a diehard Giants fan. He can't stop talking about the GMen making it all the way! He's never been more excited over anything than he was the night they beat Greenbay. He is a 7th grade Math teacher in a low income town in NJ, doesn't make much, but coaches and is a rolemodel to kids. He would love to go to the Superbowl, but obviously he can't afford it. He'd drive out there, but his car door fell off the other day and he has to get that straightened out first. He is as everybody says, just an all around "really good guy." We both love ya! And I will volunteer the two of us to go to New Orleans this summer and help with families there that need help. Thanks for all the good stuff you do in our country.
Lou Andrejewski (my real name is Dolores, but that is just a poor fitting name so they call me Lou)

We would like to enter our uncle, Jerry Rosar, to win Giants tickets. Uncle Jerry has been a Giants fan since we can remember, (and we're 34 and 36 years old). This is a man who has a heart bigger than Giant stadium. Our mother,(his sister) was diagnosed with lung cancer a year and a half ago. Since then, she has been through several surgeries and chemotherapy. To top it off, last May, our father had a stroke that left him unable to go back to work until about 2 weeks ago. With our parents' lives in financial distress, Uncle Jerry helped them out at Christmas by handing over a check that helped them pay some of their bills. He's a funny guy, a smart guy, and a true blue Giants fan!! You'd be picking the right guy to go to the game and support the New York Giants!
Thank you,

Hi Ellen! Happy Belated Birthday! Me and my daughter Abby where sitting at home sick with the flu while we where watching your show! We heard about this contest! I have to write this for Abby because she isn't 18, and I have not a clue about football. All I know is that She is the BIGGEST PATRIOT'S FAN EVER! She watch's them play every Sunday! I don't have a sob story to tell you, in order to win these tickets except that she is a diehard fan! She will literally do anything to go to the super bowl! She will run down the street naked or kiss a live fish! She is my Tomboy who can beat all the guys on our block at football! The only reason I like to watch football is because of Tom Brady in his spandex! Woot woot! But Abby watch's it because it is her favorite thing to do all week! She counts down the days until it is Sunday! So give your Canadian neighbors a shout! PATRIOT'S PATRIOT'S PATRIOT'S!!! :)

Ellen,
This is a wonderful what you are doing. Oh how I'd love my boys to be a part of this. You see, I was left to raise my three children alone and it always seemed my best wasn't good enough, not because my kids said so and maybe it felt that way to them at times. I am a full time student graduating this May 10th, 2008, I work and take care of my father, as well as tend to the kids. It breaks my heart however, when my 12 year son Michael calls his brother on the phone to see if he can go over to his house on a Sunday to watch the football game with him. What he really wants is to spend time with his older brother. Charles, my older son always tell him, "not today my friends are here, but I promise buddy one day I will take you to a game." Here is the kicker, we are "GIANTS" Fans, and my brother told Charles if they go to the superbowl, he has roundtrip tickets all exclusive passes and such to the game.. "YEAH RIGHT", Once again my heart breaks for my child...

Hi Ellen, My name is Brigitta and I’m the biggest Pats fan there is. I’m originally from Mass but have lived all over the world since I was in the Air Force for 22 years and have followed the team no matter what. I can remember when the Pats where in the Super Bowl in 1985 and I was stationed in Minot North Dakota and my best friend and I where talking all sorts of smack and the Pats got beat so bad by the Chicago Bears. But that still did not stop me from being a huge fan. And I watch every game I can no matter where I have been in the world. My Favorite player is Teddy Bruschi, I now everyone thinks that Tom Brady is the guy but for me it’s Bruschi. I have all sorts of Pats stuff and When I got to my older Brothers for games I bring my Pats Chair and gear. So I’m the biggest Pats fan and follow them no matter where I have been in the world even if I have to watch the game at 2 or 3 in the morning. So lets go Pats and watch out Giants where coming to get you for that perfect season.
Go PATS

Hey Ellen! I just want to tell you I love the show you are so funny! When my girls are home "sick" we always watch you together! I want to tell you why you should pick me to go to the Super Bowl... I am not a Giants Fan or a Patriots Fan. I love the Indianapolis Colts! (And Peyton Manning! He is so cute!) Since they are not in it this year I think that I should get to go in hopes I will get to see Peyton! Just think about it, really it makes alot of sence to me.

Hi Ellen,

I don't get to watch your show much due to that I have to work to bring home the bacon for my 17 yr. old son and myself.

I would love the opportunity to have my son and even myself if possible but more so my son to be able to go to the superbowl as he is a huge Patriot fan and I am rooting for the Giants.

He is into football of course more than I am. I wish I could afford to send him.

I wish everyone who has entered much luck!

Hi Ellen!
My 10 yr. old son and I were watching your show this morning and he heard you say that you are sending a couple lucky people to go to the superbowl.
My son should be at school today, but I recently had another surgery, and I needed someone hear with me. This is the 8th surgery I've had in the last 2 years and my husband has had to help me in ways a 38 year old woman thought she would NEVER need help doing. I've had a taste of what it feels like to be a really old person needing constant care and how much respect we should give those workers, family members, that take care of us, because not only can it be embarassing for us and them, it is very hard and constant work. My son helps me with anything his 10 year old hands can do and whater comes out of his very big heart.
Anyway, my point is, is that my 10 year old is the BIGGEST Patriots fan ever and my husband rarely ever gets to go anywhere since I am no longer employable due to my health and we are down to one income. My son carries his football everywhere and has every 4th grader in his school playing football every day at recess. I've never seen a kids eyes light up so much when he heard your news. I really hope that you would consider my 2 heroes, that have helped me thru so many hard times and have asked nothing in return.
Thank you so much and have a great day. Love your show and am so greatful for the laughter you bring to me.

Hi Ellen,
I am writing for my son Michael and deceased husband Jamie who are huge GIANT FANS! He just buried his Dad and my husband on Sat 1/26/08. They were able to watch the game together last week for one last time. Michael and his siblings took such care of him at home from spending day and nights with their Dad to cleaning his eyes hourly and tending to all his needs.

Michael got a chocolate lab when Eli Manning was drafted to the GIANTS and named the dog ELI. When the announcers mention Eli the dog immediately responds thinking they are calling him.

It would be great if Michael was able to receive the tickets for his Dad would be thrilled for him. Thank you the Mom (Frankie Igoe)

My wife,Patti and I, have been Patriot's fans for years & years! 45 years to be exact( It's also the number of years that we have been married)..Our first date was to go to a Patriot's game, they played the Denver Bronco's at Foxboro. The Patriot's won the game & we never stopped watching or going to the games. We supported them even when it seemed like everyone else had given up on them.
We may not be what is considered the ultimate Patriot's fans as we do not have tatoos or
a yard full of Patriot's ornaments but we do have shirts, hats and sweatshirts and possess undying loyalty to the Patriots. We do however give credit
where credit is deserved and the Giants have earned credit for their performance that has brought them to the Super Bowl.

WE WISH THE Patriot's THE SUCCESS THAT THEY HAVE EARNED THROUGH HARD WORK AND BY BEING THE MOST ADMIRABLE EXAMPLE OF A TEAM TRULY WORKING AS ONE FAMILY UNIT. AS THEY HAVE STATED THERE AREN'T ANY STARS ON THIS TEAM.JUST PLAYERS WHO HAVE GENUINE CARING AND SUPPORT FOR EACH OTHER.

IMAGINE WHAT A TRULY OUTSTANDING WORLD THIS WOULD BE IF WE COULD JUST GET EVERYONE TO TREAT AND RESPECT EACH OTHER THE WAY THIS PATRIOT'S TEAM REPECTS EACH OTHER!

Thank You for this opportunity to
maybe go to the Super Bowl! You are such
a kind and caring person!

Forever Patriot's Fans,

Larry and Patti Toth

Hi Ellen,
I'm a Patriot fan because of RANDY MOSS. I'm from Minnesota and had season tickets for the years RANDY MOSS played here. I would love to be at the Super Bowl and watch him get his Super Ring before the Vikings do. Send me and my wife and you would be sending a unique couple who are born the same Month, same Day, same Year, (12/21/1950).

My wife being my care provider, with me having (LEAUKEMIA) this trip would mean alot to both of us.

Hi Ellen,

I'm not a fan of the patriots or the giants and I don't think I've even watched a football game but my dad is and that's why i'm writing this. He watches football every sunday and he would die if he got tickets to the superbowl...even if they were in the nosebleed section. My siblings and I (there are 4 of us) would love to send him to the superbowl as a thank you for everything he's done for us. He's put all of us through college so we wouldn't come out with debt and he has always been there for us when we need him no matter what. This would not only mean the world to him but also to us. Thanks Ellen!

Hi Ellen,
I watch your show every Monday, Wednesday and Fridays when I don't have class. I just saw today that you are looking for someone to give the superbowl tickets to. My boyfriend Zach Bryan is honestly the biggest Giants fan ever. His father Nate Bryan was a fan for as long as he can remember. About five months ago Zach's dad passed away very suddenly. This was suprising to a lot of people but I stuck by his side as much as I could through the whole thing. Since the death of his father I wanted to do something big and exciting for him but I am a poor college student so I can't afford it. I saw about the superbowl tickets and figured it doesn't hurt to try.
This would really mean a lot to both him and I.

Thank you so much Ellen,

Hello Ellen,
Just wanted to let you know that I think that my 8 year old son Benson is just a true fan of all good and bad football teams. He says to me that winning is the answer for the nfl but for him it is all about just haveing a good game. He play's soccer and when he is 10 he says that he want's to play football. I say that when and if he wants to still do this look out for the other side. He is just a little boy but with a heart of goals and they will be in what ever he want's to thae max. So I feel that he is just a true fan of all football teams but he will be just in front of the tv when it come's on yelling at it and as always sitting, jumping and eating snacks for the game. Oh by the way he sasys that this is the huge game too tell him that the (p) are the best team this year and next will be his home team the Raven's.

Ellen, The reason I think I should go to the superbowl is because I am the biggest fan.My roommate and I drove from the cape last Sun. to go to the rally at foxboro to see the patriots off. No tatoo yet, but would have no problem getting one for a trip to the superbowl. Also we watch every game with friends at our house. I have lots of tshirt, sweatshirts, hats and sneakers with patriots logos. I know how much you like sneakers I would buy you a pair of patriots sneakers if you pick me. Oh and before I forget we are both 50 this year, and it would be something I would never forget. Your awesome!

Hi Ellen...Today is January 29th and I just heard for the first time that you are looking for a true football fan...that would be my husband.
If you met him you would know right away that he is a fantastic person. He's an 8th grade science teacher here in Medford, Ma. and simply loves sports. I guess its its in his genes, because he has always played sports. He watches not only the Patriots, but all teams. He was hoping the Pats would play the Colts, because I secretly think he believes the Giants will be a strong force. I would love to see him attend the Super bowl because due to him working two jobs just to make ends meet, he has never been able to go to a game.
No matter what, you will make someones dream a reality like you always do. Thank you for making the lives of ordinary people so special.

Hi Ellen,

I should go with you to the SuperBowl because I am a rabid Patriot's fan. I also love your show. I am a bookkeeper and work many hours in my home office. I have framed and hung in my office every Sports Illustrated magazine cover regarding the Patriots since they won the first SuperBowl. My dog is named after Tedy Bruschi, his name is Bruschi. Sundays during football season are reserved for football, my family knows not to bother me on those days. I tell everyone that I will the Patriots to win during each game. I wear my #12 jersey every game day, even to church. I know all the players and their numbers. I would love to see the game in person especially this year when they have the chance to complete the perfect season. I have been to the parades after the SuperBowl wins and plan on attending this year. I would love to be a correspondent for your show. I have so much knowledge of the Patriots and the Giants that I would make you proud. Please Ellen choose me to be the Patriots Super Fan, I promise I won't let you down!

Hi Ellen,
Love this contest! I would love to go see our Patriots win the Super Bowl. Everyone in my family is a huge fan, especially my son Nick. He has all his favorite players pictures framed in his room. He always wears his Patriots jerseys.
My husband wears his favorite Patriots sweatshirt with the old logo-its probably 15 years old!
Every day the Pats play is like Super Bowl Sunday, we have friends and family over and make a big spread of food. We watch every moment of the game, even though I really act as the cook, waitress and dish washer!
We bought the big screen tv, so it feels like we are at the game! Watching the Ellen show looks awesome on it too!
My husband tapes the game, so during the week we can watch it over, and over and over........
I would love to see the Pat's live, and have someone wait on me!!!
We don't go to the games because we have been putting children through college for the past 7 years. So we have a few more years to go till the last graduated!
Love you Ellen!

Dear Ellen.

17 years ago yesterday my first child was born.
During the term of my pregnancy and visits to our lamase classes, everyone inquired as to the due date of our baby.
Hence the constant heckling that our baby was going to be born on the day of the superbowl.
My husband, would have a huge smile and say "Not my baby"
My husband has been a huge Giants fan before I met him and 19 years of marriage he still is.
Three days before the superbowl I started to have contractions, and he was happy, however they sent me home as they did the next day and the next.
He would come over to my stomach and chat with the baby asking her to be nice and not comeout until after the superbowl.
The big day finally came and yes, it was in the middle of the superbowl game.
I was ready to pull his hair out, this would not help anyway he shaves his head everyday.
Phil Simms just injured himself and they placed hostetler in, this all happend while my husband went downstairs to get the car from the parking lot.
The pain subsided and Hostetler just scored and I was yelling and screaming the baby was kicking and my husband was missing the game, when he came back up to get me, needless to say he was a little upset.
By the time we arrived at the hospital found parking (NYC)the security guard at St. Lukes looked at my husband and smiled and basically said game over.
The doctor took one look at me and said oh she'll have the baby by midnight, Alyssia was not born until seven minutes after five the next day.
Every now and again when the game is on we don't approach him, if not we might hear him growl
On the last game Alyssia had to work and I just had surgery, needless to say he missed part of the game again, Alyssia struck again.
I hope with all of my heart that I can get win some tickets for him, it just might put things right again, after all it's been 17 years and he still can't get over it.

Hi Ellen,

Honestly I am not a football fan but my husband is (which is most often the case). We moved about a year ago to another state and my husband has been missing watching the game with his friends. We have also becmoe a bit distant and I think this will help begin mend things between us (not that it will help resolve everything) if we had a chance to get away. Hey, maybe I'll become a major fan of football as I am of your show.

DEAR ELLEN,
I WROTE YOU BEFORE, BUT I DON'T KNOW IF YOU RECIEVED MY LETTER. SO HERE I GO AGAIN. YOU KNOW, I WATCH YOU EVERY DAY. YADA YADA YADA. BUT, SUPERBOWL TALK. YOU MENTIONED THAT YOUR CONTEST CONSISTED OF GETTING ALONG WITH SOMEONE FROM THE OPPOSING TEAM. ELLEN, I HAVE BEEN MARRIED EIGHT TIMES AND I WOULD LOVE TO BE LOCKED UP WITH SOMEONE WHO DOESN'T AGREE WITH ME JUST TO SHOW YOU HOW AMIABLE I AM. AFTER ALL I HAVE BEEN MARRIED QUITE ENOUGH TIMES TO PRACTICE GETTING ALONG.(NOT)REALLY TRUTH BEING, MY FATHER TURNS 81 ON JANUARY 31st, AND HAS NEVER SEEN A GAME IN HIS LIFE LET ALONE A SUPER BOWL. AND ELLEN WE LIVE IN TUCSON, ARIZONA WHICH IS ONLY 65 MILES AWAY FROM GLENDALE, SO IT WOULD BE REALLY CHEAP FOR YOU TO STUFF HIM IN A CAB AND SEND HIM UP THERE. HE IS THE LOVE OF MY LIFE. AND THEN SINCE YOU SAVED AIRFARE, MAYBE I COULD GET A PATRIOTS JERSEY? I HOPE YOU TAKE THIS INTO CONSIDERATION, BECAUSE I DO LOVE YOU AND YOUR SHOW WITH ALL THE KINDNESS YOU BRING TO SO MANY, AND I ADORE MY DADDY. HE WON'T DRINK TO MUCH ON THE RIDE BUT HE MIGHT NEED BATHROOM BREAKS. PEACE ON MY FREIND, DIANE

Ellen,
I am a HUGE GIANTS FAN! I will give you my top 10 list as to why I should go to the Super Bowl.

10. Family has been NYG season ticket holders since 1976.
9. Family has also been 'skunked' like so many others 4 (*&$#%! times in a row! What's up with that?!
8. If you notice my email address, the '56' stands for Lawrence Taylor - the ORIGINAL LT! Don't ask what gfy stands for.
7. When I proposed to my wife, I told her that I only cared about 1 team, once a week for 16 weeks, 3 hours a day. HOW LUCKY ARE YOU?!
6. One of my 2 1/2 year old daughters favorite books is "Let's Go Giants!" Which I read to her everynight, whether she likes it or not. She always cheers though...that's Daddy'girl.
5. My number in HS Football was 56 and I also had "LT" on the Varsity jacket above my name.
4. My maternal grandfather played for the Staten Island Stapelton's, the semi pro football team that was later bought by the Mara's to become the NY Giants in 1925.
3. We put up with the traffic, the parking $$, and $7 12oz Bud's (the brewery is 5 miles away, go figure)and multiply that x's 32 years. WE ARE DUE.
2. I went to school in New Hampshire when the Mets beat the Red Sox in 1986 and the Giants won the Superbowl in 1987....I know how to handle those knuckleheads.
1. Seriously.....PLLLLLLEEEEEEEAAAAAASSSSSSSSSEEE!

I would love to have done this......I am a huge fan. But....I figure that, there is someone so much more funny and would be so much more fun than me. Let me tell you. Kerrie F. of NH would be unbelievably funny, smart...well, if it came to players, we would have to work on that one. She might even get her own show off of this one. She would mess with other fans....Pats and Giants...(hopefully Giants), there would be no other time in between, cause she would always be saying something (she can talk paint off a wall), but it don't really mattery anyway, cause the Pats will win. AND, she will be there for the Vince Lombard Trophy ceremony....helmet cam and all....maybe in the middle of it all. Like in between Tom Brady and Terry Bradshaw....for the trophy ceremony...that would be nice.....or just stay there, and say....WOW....those darn Pats, they did it again.....WOW.

HAPPY 50TH BIRTHDAY

Dear Ellen,
I met my husband ten years ago. He had no clue what football was about. In order to stay married I had to teach him everything from a team has four attempts to make ten yards to how much a field goal was worth! Forget safeties and onside kicks!!!!!
Over the years he grew to love the sport......so much so that I surprised him last week and took him to his 1st professional football game ever! The AFC Championship game with our beloved New England Patriot's!!!! He was like a little kid on Christmas morning!!!!
He loved the whole day from tailgating to making new football friends and helping me hold up a sign we surely thought would get the camera's attention! Well, we didn't have our 15 seconds of fame, but he had a ball!!! Never saw him so excited!! I can only imagine what he would do if you chose him to go to the Superbowl!!!!!
He's a great dad and husband and I would love to see him go, but it's dawning on me as I write this letter that it is our daughter's 8th birthday and he probably would want to be with her!
Thanks for the chance to win!

I am a HUGE Patriot's fan. I don't miss a game and I scream and yell even if I am alone. My daughters often ask me .... "do you really scream like that when no one is here?"....I say, YOU BET YOUR A** I DO......... I get nervous before the game and everything....hahahaha It's great. Before my father-in-law passed away, I used to call him at halftime and we would discuss the game and what he thought. He was 80+ years old and sharp as a tack.....I miss our chats but I know he is looking down from Heaven and screaming and yelling right with me. : )
